  1. ^Lucky! I think the firewalls on the lab computers here have something to do with not being able to see the webcam. Nemo if you're here at school come find me and help me lol. Edit: AH It's working!
  2. ^^ I am. I at first thought it was just my computer, because I'm on one in the lab at school, but then on the other site people were saying they are haveing problems too.
  3. That map looks pretty nice. I do think it looks a little like it was drawn in Paint on some ones computer though. Just my opinion.
  4. Haha this happened on the day they put the last pieces of track in too. . It's a sign. (they're putting trains on) haha just a guess
  5. Is the webcam frozen for anyone else this morning? It's stuck at 7:10 am for me.
  6. ^^Well let's hope that is not the case come April 18th, or any date after or before then. I can only imagine the complaints the park would get if Diamondback broke it's chain anytime during it's opening season.
  7. ^^I always thought of Vortex as a Cobalt Blue, maybe slightly darker. I think a paint job just like the now defunct Shockwave at Six Flags Great America would look fitting on Flight Deck.
  8. ^Thats even better, I think we need a blue coaster that is a brighter blue than Vortex. Maybe a royal blue.
  9. I whole heartedly agree with you Jasper, I know KI takes pretty good care of their rides, but leaving the paint flaking off the track of Flight Deck just makes it seem like it's being left to rot. :/ I'd love to see the original red or maybe the same kind of red with a hint of orange like Iron Dragon at CP.
  10. I could see the paw prints being painted again. Not sure if it will happen though. But honestly I would really like to see some of the coasters get some new paint more than anything.
  11. Backlot may be across the path, but those trains are also moving 40+ mph. Diamondback on the other hand will probably be moving at around 5 mph or so. I just don't see Diamondback as creating a noise problem in the turnaround into the station.
  12. I don't think Diamondback will affect the theater. After all The Italian Job helix and launch didn't really affect the theater
  13. ^^Technically it's a triple post now. Anyway, I'm excited about appearance of the trains, hopefully soon.
  14. At the beginning of the video as the train is going around the turnaround, you can somewhat see the entrance of the ride. It does look to be under construction when this video was shot. I've yet to see anyone post a picture of the original Beast entrance and I think this is as close as we are going to come for now.
  15. I haven't seen it posted yet, so I thought I would let everyone know 10 new pictures have been added to the construction gallery over at kiDiamondback.com. For some reason I really likethe picture of the piece of track sitting right in front of The Beast entrance.
  16. I love watching the 25th Anniversary video for The Beast. I just wonder if the chili vision televisions are still in the queue, if we will see a similar video for the 30th this summer.
  17. O well, thought I would ask. Did a quick search on google and found a few pics of the Behemoth pull through. Looks like they just use the first car of a train and it doesn't look like it includes the wooden fan often seen, for distance purposes. The picture links are about 3/4ths the way down the forum. http://www.thrillnetwork.com/boards/park-r...-thread-29.html This is probably the best picture to see what is done during a B&M pull through. http://farm3.static.flickr.com/2334/232659...b55ebc27d_o.jpg
  18. You wouldn't happen to have a picture or a link to a picture of the contraptions you have so recently mentioned would you Interpreter?
  19. Well I do remember with Maverick they did a pull through on pretty much the entire ride. But then again Maverick is a fairly compact coaster with close encounters with other portions of its track. I would imagine they will do a pull through on the entire length of Diamondback. Only time or Don can say.
  20. ^ I think what you are seeing there is the white crane. To me it just looks a little too close to the crest of the second hill.
  21. The Beast! How so perfectly fitting. UncleHenry may understand why. lol
  22. neverseeme, The "prototype" cars you are speaking of are the trains from I believe The Villain and Raging Wolf Bobs at the now defunct Geauga Lake. Same goes for the monster arms and cars you saw sitting back there. They are all remnants of the old Monster ride at Geauga Lake.
  23. Did anyone else happen to see the person standing on top of The Crypt? I'd be willing to say it's Don Helbig or someone from his team taking pictures. This could mean the track is about to be lifted.
  24. I can't tell if they are working tonight or not. I kinda doubt it though. Like people have mentioned before once the drop track is started, the construction crew may have to continue until it is finished much like they had to on the tallest lift support. (On a side note, yes I was probably there that night sheikra_rocks. I was working at The Beast quite often when you (as well as BavarianBeatle and his boys) would stop by.
  25. New photos have been added to the Diamondback site. Thanks for the great pics Don. http://kiDiamondback.com/public/latest/gallery/
