Ok, now I feel a little better. I have a few playlists on my Blackberry of songs from shows that I liked.

All the times I can think of that the Cirque shows have been in the area they've been at arenas, mainly the Gardens.

Plus you get to see the Bank of Kentucky Center, which still has that new arena smell to it.

Get your fill of Nick while you can because CF will not spend the kind of money that Viacom will be looking for to use the Nick Characters. I will be glad to see HBL return and maybe the addition of everyones favorite Beagle... I had actually thought that the return of HB items & characters were not realistic. It seems more and more that it will be happening. With the absence of Nick being included in any kind of advertisements (of late) it seems even more realistic. And If you look at the Howl-O-Fest site, there is no mention on Nick. (There is Scooby, though.) The fact that there isn't a mention of Nick in the Howl-O-Fest advertisements is because Howl-O-Fest is separate from Nick Universe. It's in the picnic grove. It's the same reason they didn't mention The Racer or Boomerang Bay in the ads. It has nothing to do with it. Nickelodeon Universe is alive and well and there were Nick characters meeting and greeting guests in that area on Saturday and Sunday.

Cedar Fair certainly lost an asset when they lost Craig Ross. What a great guy.

Personally I thought the rumor that Cedar Fair was going to purchase Paramount Parks was pretty funny... guess I was wrong on that one.

Yep -- They've upgraded to have Gate Central, the same processing system that Kings Island uses.

Sorry, I just have a deep hatred of people who demand that the world 'the' be put in front of titles which do not have the word 'the' in front of them. If I remember correctly, DB is to be located where Swan Lake once lied... on normal ground level. Even the context is messed up. Why talk about the first piece of track being installed when you have a photo right there of dozens of pieces already installed?

You may not see some of the bigger supports go up before the season ends. Some of them may be intended for the midway, which I imagine they wouldn't start with people there.

They almost certainly would, except that they don't recommend the night portion of Halloween Haunt for kids. Having a kid's pricing point for the Fright Feast meal would probably encourage families to come. This is the second year my wife and I have taken our kids to HH, they love it, and we as a family look forward to it. My kids know it's not real and HH is just for fun. Has KI looked around after 7pm and taken count of the number of kids under 12 that goto HH? We have only had one problem with HH this year; A male character in the new hospital yelled at us "why did we bring our kids and to leave the attraction!" Bodda; Please don't take this wrong; but what's wrong with encouraging families to come and do something together? I see that as one big problem in our society; families have lost the time to be together; For my family, HH is quality time having some fun... Nah, you're absolutely right. It would just be a contradiction to say that Haunt isn't recommended for children under 13 (which is the park's words, not KIC's) and then offer a discount for young children. The fact that you're kids are mature enough to be able to tell that Haunt is just for fun is great, but that's something we can't say about a lot of small kids. I was behind a family who took their 9 year old through a maze on Friday and the kid was in tears by the end. I think it's really cool that your kids enjoy it, and it's really cool that your kids like the shows. I see the little one at 80s.... every time.

What happens after the Nick License expires isn't even something that's discussed in the board meetings yet. When the time comes, they'll do whatever makes sense which may be a return of HB, renewal of Nick, creating their own characters, or a laundry list of other possibilities.

I upgraded from a Gold Pass to a Maxx Pass last year without a problem at KI.
