Ok, now I feel a little better. I have a few playlists on my Blackberry of songs from shows that I liked.

Key wording, in the board meetings. Yet discussed in many other ways and meetings. Get your fill of Nick while you can because CF will not spend the kind of money that Viacom will be looking for to use the Nick Characters. I will be glad to see HBL return and maybe the addition of everyones favorite Beagle... I had actually thought that the return of HB items & characters were not realistic. It seems more and more that it will be happening. With the absence of Nick being included in any kind of advertisements (of late) it seems even more realistic. And If you look at the Howl-O-Fest site, there is no mention on Nick. (There is Scooby, though.) The fact that there isn't a mention of Nick in the Howl-O-Fest advertisements is because Howl-O-Fest is separate from Nick Universe. It's in the picnic grove. It's the same reason they didn't mention The Racer or Boomerang Bay in the ads. It has nothing to do with it. Nickelodeon Universe is alive and well and there were Nick characters meeting and greeting guests in that area on Saturday and Sunday.

Cedar Fair certainly lost an asset when they lost Craig Ross. What a great guy. -

Check the date again. 100108 is October 1st, 2008. At least that's how I read it. He was right, it said 10-10-08 originally, but I fixed it. -

Tracks can be made in several ways. I'm guessing the bottom piece is some sort of brace. CoastersRZ? -
Kings Island continues its tradition of fright by night and fun by day in October as the park presents Halloween Haunt, a terrifying experience for grown ups and the all new Howl-O-Fest for kids during the day. Halloween Haunt, one of the largest Halloween attractions in the Midwest, returns to Kings Island in 2008 and features some of the most intense mazes in which anyone has ever dared to step foot. The newest attraction is the all new Urgent Scare, a 3,666ft maze themed to a small town that is infected by a virus that seems to take over the minds of the townspeople. You must make it through the town's hospital -a hospital that NO ONE would want to visit- if you want to make it out alive. Halloween Haunt contains violence, graphic scenes and adult-oriented imagery. It is not recommended for children under the age of 13. The Haunt rises from the dead every Friday and Saturday from 7pm to 1am and is included FREE with park admission and is FREE to season pass holders. To purchase discount tickets, click here. Before darkness falls over the park you and your kids can celebrate Halloween family-style with Kings Island's all new Howl-O-Fest! Kids will be invited to participate in many activities such as a hay bale maze, costume parade, dance party and many other kid-friendly Halloween activities. Click here for information about Howl-O-Fest or you can see photos of Howl-O-Fest in the KICentral Photo Gallery. Howl-O-Fest is held on Saturdays and Sundays from 12pm-5pm and is located in the picnic grove immediately next to Kings Island's award winning Nickelodeon Universe. If you want the best meal deal in the park, check out Kings Island's Fright Feast. The all-you-can-eat menu includes Montgomery Inn Pulled Pork, Roasted Chicken, Saratoga Chips, Coleslaw, White Dessert Cake, Cookies, Brownies and Soft Drinks. Special dinner guests include Zombies, Werewolves, Vampires, Mummies, Demented Clowns, Pirates, Side Show Performers, the Living Dead and more! After dinner, you will be escorted to the all-new thriller, Urgent Scare – the most anticipated new haunted attraction in the Midwest. Just $13.99 per body -- 5PM - 7PM every Friday and Saturday. Click here to purchase tickets to Fright Feast! Kings Island's Diamondback will debut in April of 2009. Billed as the tallest and fastest coaster in the park, it features ten vertical drops and an incredible splashdown effect. Personally I thought the rumor that Cedar Fair was going to purchase Paramount Parks was pretty funny... guess I was wrong on that one.
-
Yep -- They've upgraded to have Gate Central, the same processing system that Kings Island uses.
-
I don't think there's a topic. We've just talked about it. No biggie.
-
Yep -- this has been discussed before. The guy posing as a ride actor is Kings Island's own Evan Millward.

If you want chain-wide numbers look at the press releases in their SEC filings. If you want park-by-park basis... good luck. -
Kings Island's Newest Roller Coaster Nears Completion
BoddaH1994 replied to The Interpreter's topic in Kings Island
Sorry, I just have a deep hatred of people who demand that the world 'the' be put in front of titles which do not have the word 'the' in front of them. If I remember correctly, DB is to be located where Swan Lake once lied... on normal ground level. Even the context is messed up. Why talk about the first piece of track being installed when you have a photo right there of dozens of pieces already installed? -

You may not see some of the bigger supports go up before the season ends. Some of them may be intended for the midway, which I imagine they wouldn't start with people there. -

Kings Island Brews Up All-New Kids’ Halloween Event
BoddaH1994 replied to Dane's topic in Kings Island
They almost certainly would, except that they don't recommend the night portion of Halloween Haunt for kids. Having a kid's pricing point for the Fright Feast meal would probably encourage families to come. This is the second year my wife and I have taken our kids to HH, they love it, and we as a family look forward to it. My kids know it's not real and HH is just for fun. Has KI looked around after 7pm and taken count of the number of kids under 12 that goto HH? We have only had one problem with HH this year; A male character in the new hospital yelled at us "why did we bring our kids and to leave the attraction!" Bodda; Please don't take this wrong; but what's wrong with encouraging families to come and do something together? I see that as one big problem in our society; families have lost the time to be together; For my family, HH is quality time having some fun... Nah, you're absolutely right. It would just be a contradiction to say that Haunt isn't recommended for children under 13 (which is the park's words, not KIC's) and then offer a discount for young children. The fact that you're kids are mature enough to be able to tell that Haunt is just for fun is great, but that's something we can't say about a lot of small kids. I was behind a family who took their 9 year old through a maze on Friday and the kid was in tears by the end. I think it's really cool that your kids enjoy it, and it's really cool that your kids like the shows. I see the little one at 80s.... every time. -
What happens after the Nick License expires isn't even something that's discussed in the board meetings yet. When the time comes, they'll do whatever makes sense which may be a return of HB, renewal of Nick, creating their own characters, or a laundry list of other possibilities.

I upgraded from a Gold Pass to a Maxx Pass last year without a problem at KI.
