  2. Looks like it's just over $.74/share. I wonder if it's ever been that low before.
  3. Rain, snow, sunshine or tornado Fearfest typically has nobody at it. However Halloween Haunt is usually affected by weather in a similar fashion to how the park is affected during the regular season... the nicer (in this case, warmer) weather, the busier it is. Not a law, just rule of thumb.
  4. Yeah, that maze will be LOOOONNNNGGGG! I've heard estimates of up to 20 minutes to go through the whole thing. The entertainment department is very excited about this new experience and they've seen a lot of this stuff. It's got to be different than the status quo.
  5. According to my sources, Holiday World's on the short list.... That'd be quite an undertaking for Holiday World. Moving coasters isn't cheap... at all. Plus they'd have to more or less create a steel coaster maintenance division from scratch.
  6. Since we're adding top 5 overall: 1. Phantom's Revenge (KWP) 2. Flight of Fear (KI) 3. The Beast (KI) 4. The Voyage (HW) 5. Magnum XL-200 (CP)
  7. 1. Flight of Fear 2. The Beast 3. The Crypt 4. Son of Beast 5. Flight Deck
  8. As Terpy mentioned... sort of... Eric Rakes is a full timer in the food services department.
  9. Likely nothing at the moment. It appears that the work today has focused on the bottom of the first hill and the ascent up the second hill.
  10. The presentation of some of the announcements has been interesting to say the least...
  11. Yep -- just like Club Blood last year, you will be the first to experience Kings Island's new Urgent Scare without having to wait in line.
  12. The all-new Fright Feast meal is available Fridays and Saturdays from 5pm – 7pm during Halloween Haunt. The all-you-can-eat menu includes Montgomery Inn Pulled Pork, Roasted Chicken, Saratoga Chips, Coleslaw, White Dessert Cake, Cookies, Brownies and Soft Drinks. Special dinner guests include Zombies, Werewolves, Vampires, Mummies, Demented Clowns, Pirates, Side Show Performers, the Living Dead and more! After dinner, you will be escorted to our all-new thriller, Urgent Scare – the most anticipated new haunted attraction in the Midwest. Just $13.99 per body! Buy your Fright Feast ticket now, at any Front Gate Ticket Window, or at the Rakes-Helbig Memorial Hospital in Rivertown. Click here to order tickets to Fright Feast. Side note: Does anyone else see an ethical issue in this Rakes-Helbig company being in both the hospital and funeral home businesses? Just a thought.
  13. Just a follow up on that last image I uploaded. It looks like that'll be the bottom of the first hill.
  14. I think the time is coming when people begin to realize just how monstrous this thing is. Every time I go up there I'm surprised to see that thing. It will certainly change the landscape.
  15. I think Holiday World is really 'all hat and no cattle' with how friendly they apparently are. They certainly tote their Golden Tickets, but I don't see anyone there going out of the way to help guests. No more than any other park.
  16. Allow me to correct myself. US Bank Arena had nothing to do with yesterday's world record kickline attempt. It was organized by Gameday Communications for publicity to the Rockettes' show at US Bank Arena in December.
  17. This event was conducted by US Bank Arena and the Rockettes. It was the marketing rep from USBA that changed the time and location, which is why people were getting conflicting information about the kick line. No one from Kings Island dropped the ball on this.
  18. Helbig's job is to bring you the news... not dance in kick lines.
