That's exactly why they don't do it. If you notice it, they really only page people about once a day. When they do make announcements, they have to clear it through whoever is running the show that day.

There's nothing like taking a survey on my ride experience on 11 rides that don't even exist yet. YOUKNOWWHATIMEAN!!??

It's just kind of our new catch phrase if YOUKNOWWHATIMEAN!!?? -
Glad to hear you got to go to the park, but it's a shame that you didn't have such a great time. As far as the paging system goes, that was a half-truth. More than likely, it wasn't down. The park policy is only to page people in the case of an emergency. The Siemens thing is the only thing they can do for you if you are lost. Probably people get upset about that a lot, so they just say it's down, but oh well, you found who you were looking for. Did you ever get your niece's friend to ride anything good?

Madame Tussauds New York: Tribute to 9/11

wow wow wow, They played "God Bless the USA" over yours? The one me and Dane saw yesterday was in total silence. I wonder if that was a screw up of some sort. -

It was a pleasure to BS with you.

I'm not sure if it said "Stop Abortion" or not. All I read was "10 Week Abortion". Regardless of what side you take on that issue, it was really wrong to fly a plane over an amusement park with a message like that, whether it's pro or con. I usually let stuff slide, but this bothered me.

You camped alone? Heck, I would have hung out with you at least for a while! I went Monday. Cheerleaders everywhere... not like your typical highschool cheerleaders that everybody loves, but 12 year old girls wearing enough eye shadow to look mike Mimi from Drew Carey. Monday was packed, but Dane and I still got a lot accomplished as far as work for the page goes.

Racer and Beastie are PTC. John Allen designed both of them, but he was also the CEO of PTC for a time. Granted, he was more or less retired when he did it, but he did. For a cool mini-biography of John Allen, Click here. Ryan

Could be, but at the same time, it's not a scheduled weekend. Speaking of which, where did they relocate all of your Tiques people to?
-
FlightofFear1996- Which one? Pretty much all of them have middle fingers on them. Mrs. G- I can't imagine it being too hard to obtain permission. I mean, how much could they charge to get free publicity?
-
Not necessarily true. You may recall last year on Nov 2nd when it was so warm out that you could easily wear shorts and a t-shirt... oh yeah, and they were running Congo Falls that day! I hope this year we're that lucky.
-
Why make it open to all? It's one of the incentives for buying a pass early in the season.
-
Park Operating Schedule Update Paramount's Kings Island will be closed to the general public and all season passholders from September 7-30th. However, we are extending our season and adding one more weekend of fall fun! PKI will now be open the weekend of November 6th and 7th so you can get your last fix of thrills for 2004! Don't credit Dane, they're all Steve B's. You rock, despite that whole Cov Cath thing that you went through. So, is this thing in working order yet? -Ryan (Representing Dixie class of '01)

My favorite days are the ones that they close at 11 or 12, but they do the fireworks show at 10, people flock out of the park thinking that its closed, which means more Scooters time for us!
-
I still don't see what the big obsession is with B&M... I mean, they make great coasters, but if you have a problem with Top Gun, it's probably the design, not Arrow at fault. Granted, it's a little short, but I think the experience is great.
-
How can you hear it through my fire helmet?
-
True, but in order to do it, they would have to spend the time and money to market it. It seems far more logical to simply utilize that characters that they know are popular now and make them synonymous with Paramount Parks.

The rumor has been all season that it is going to be moved to the Flight Commander pad in order to clear room for the Italian Job. I have actually heard recently that it is not going to move at all. We'll just have to wait and see.
-
I have read several posts on the forums stating that the Italian Job will have two launches. I was looking at its description on RCDB.com, and according to it, it will have 3. I wonder who is right and who is wrong. I, and I'm sure many of you, hope it has three, but we'll just have to wait and see until the park makes an official release of the specs. Click here to see RCDB.com's early description of the Italian Job Stunt Track. Ryan

Yeah, Maureen is a great person in general. I think you are directing your frusteration at the wrong person... tell Steve B about it, he's young and doesn't know any better than to just listen to ya! **Your forgot the soccer ball :

Hey, one more word out of you, and I'll make you sit in the corner and listen to Bawitdaba over and over for an hour.
