I guess no one can really be sure, no matter how "reliable" your source is. Personally, I agree that removing them would be a mistake. I'd like to see them relocated in Rivertown and have them go through the woods.
-
No, it hasn't. Good find!
-
You should put the video up on your site. I want to see it.
-
Speaking of which, do they ever change the ride list for that? I've noticed that it's been Wild Thornberry's, The Beast, SDATHC, and Delirium/Drop for quite a while now.
-
...and the greatness that is snapping is still allowed!
-
No one's entirely sure. It's just one of many rumors circulating about 2005.
-
And trust you? "HA" I say to you!
-
...and they get fixed.. it's back up!
-
No, there is (or was) something wrong with them, when they're done, they're done... that's all we know.
-
It's the only Huss Giant Topspin... experimental stuff breaks down a lot.

...or the park loves the fact that you took so many pictures of Dane and I, and we love the fact that you took a video of The Beast. either way

Nickelodeon Celebration Parade!
BoddaH1994 replied to BoddaH1994's topic in Kings Island Central Newsroom
Thanks for the kind words about the photos. We try to strive for quality as well as quantity on our pictures. Hopefully we helped spark a little more interest (not that it needed it with the amazing turnout that it had). Once again, it was our pleasure! Ryan -
<On an original park ride, what is the name on the cracked tombstone? We just had to guess “It was on the train course†due to that being the only tombstones I know of.>> What about The Beastie with the name "Imma ________" something... can't remember what the name was.... <<After every one was down, Jeff introduced his partner in crime, Steve Bohmker, now known as Mr. Steve, or Sadistic Steve. >> Mr. Asset or "the temp" <<Question Two: Next up: getting the price of a gallon of gas at Gilmore Gas. This was obviously at Preston Tucker’s Roadside Café. We went over there, and discovered that none of the three pumps in the front (Coney Mall Side), were named Gilmore Gas! Two were named Victoria Gas. So we went inside, and found no Gilmore Gas. At the last minute, I remembered that there was a pump in the back. SO we walked out the back door, and, lo and behold, Gilmore Gas! So we got the priceand headed on down Coney Mall.>> Also, the prices for the wrong pumps read $0.00. <Question Eight: Next up was getting the song that is played on the Glockenspiel every 15 minutes, which is at the Festhaus. We got there just as it quit playing, and we thought is was Chicken Dance. But we had to be sure, so we waited. Darcy and I went inside to get a drink, and saw the annoying $3 price for a Coke. So we walked through the Festhaus back door, and went looking for a cheaper machine, as they are only $2.75 in places. But we were low on time, so we went back and paid the annoying 3 bucks, got our Cokes, and went back outside to wait. >> Is the extra quarter really worth your concern? Also, if you go to a food stand and pay $3, you get a 22oz as opposed to a 20oz. <<After this, we saw the Beverly Hills Cop 3 poster, and noted the release date of May 25. However, the question seems to indicate the SECOND Beverly Hills Cop movie, so we would figure that out later.>> No, it said sequel, which can be anything but the original. You read entirely too deep into this stuff. <<Answer to Question Twenty-Three: The place where the kiddie ship is located is called Kangaroo Lagoon.>> He asked for the name of the ship itself. <<Jeff flipped through our paper and said “Very nice, very nice…†so we considered that a good sign. On the other hand, the PKIC Staff’s team had Jeff going “Shame! Shame, shame, shame!â€>> Granted, we didn't place at all, but we only left one blank while you left a ton blank. I guess Jeff expects a lot out of the guys who actually run a reputable PKI site. Regards, Ryan

<<The Tennis Court Phone Number, we had to guess 867-5309 (lol) 651- 2872.>> He told you to use the telescope on the tower to get it off the building. <<There is a car in the park somewhere, who owned the car? It's found in The Paramount Story.>> The Godfather car, right when you walk in. >Answer to Question Thirty: The employee’s guess, and others around us, said 12, so we used that. I think it's 10.>> I think it's 12 <<What coaster has a memorial plaque at the entrance? Oh boy. We guessed Racer. Adventure Express.>> It's on a rock to the right of the entrance.

Nice, you do something that you KNOW is illegal and against park policy, and you flaunt it somewhere where you know people from the park will read it. This reminds me of an episode of Cops where a criminal breaks into a toy store and ends up getting caught under something, and calls 911 for help, thus turning himself in.

Oh come on, "Ladies and Gentelmen, welcome to the Eiffel Tower. The Eiffel Tower stands 313ft, which is roughly 1/3 the size of the real tower, located in Paris, France... blah blah blah blah blah" It should never get old!
-
Aww.. it's all in good fun. The "demoted" joke dates back to when I saw the Rickster working at Quick Draw's Railway....
-
Unlikely. We didn't hit HBL until long after the parade, and we got there just in time to see it start. When we rode Deli, I was looking for you, but obviously you were demoted to HBL . Better luck next time! Ryan

You've heard the phrase "The best of Hollywood entertainment, now playing" countless times this season. It's their catch phrase, not unlike "Let yourself go!" or "Where the magic of the movies meets the thrills of a theme park" as we have seen in years past. Does PKI really live up to this claim? It's a pretty large claim to say that you're the best at anything. Yes, PKI lives up to their claim. The Nickelodeon Celebration Parade was a BIG hit! The parade was more exciting and entertaining than we had ever imagined that it would have been. This fiesta of floats, dancers, music, and livelihood is simply a reminder that, even if your days of play may be long over, and you have children of your own, you are still just a big kid. This new attraction reestablishes what to expect from Paramount Parks' in house entertainment. Perhaps it is finally time for that little mouse that has been sitting pretty down in Florida for all of these years to finally get scared. Click here to check out 53 awesome pics of the parade, but by all means, check it out for yourself!! Regards, Ryan Dane and I would like to thank Jeff Siebert, Maureen Boothe, Kimberly Tannnnney, and of course "Mr. Asset" Steve (come on Steve, you knew it was coming!) from PKI's marketing for letting us hang out with them during the parade. As always, the pleasure was all on our side of the toboggan!

Sounds close.. where are you coming from?
-
Although that would be cool, we still don't really know that.

71N until I see the 1/3 size replica of the Eiffel Tower, then I'm done. Browntggrr, I saw your perspective of the tower and DZ coming from the north for the first time last week. It's a totally different experience than coming from the south. From the south, you can see DZ and the Tower, next thing you know, you can see everything, while from the north, you see DZ and the tower WAY off in the distance, and then they disappear and reappear with the rest of the park.

Do you intend to see the Nick Parade this year?
BoddaH1994 replied to Young Gunz's topic in KI Polls
I really hope that it's a success. My only concern is that it could cause congestion on busy days. -
THIS JUST IN: According to Dane, the parade will NOT follow the route stated above. Apparently it has been changed to the following: From The Racer acces gate, down Coney Mall towards the front of the park, through left turn at Basketballs to infront of the tower, than roars into Hanna Barberra, goes around in Nick Central to The Beasttie gate. This has not been confirmed, so we'll just have to wait and see!

Ok, the Nickelodeon Parade starts this Saturday. I haven't seen a lot of information come from the park, so I thought I'd give the important details here. First of all, the Nickelodeon Parade will run from 7/17 through 8/15. The parade will start this Saturday at 5:00 and run through 5:30. I am not entirely certain that this will be the time that it's going to run every day, but it's definitely presumable. The parade route is as follows: Click here for the map The parade route follows the dotted line (yeah yeah yeah... it's hard to see). Anyway, as you can see, it starts at The Beastie, travels through HBL, grazes International Street, and ends up in Rivertown near Tomb Raider. Hope to see you guys there! Ryan
