  1. I disagree... the clock is fine, but I couldn't care less. On the flip side, I like how it's dark in there. It's a excellent contrast from the hot bright days outside.
  2. Well, in the defense of the ride, you did tell me you rode in the back, which is, from what I hear, the worst seat in the house.
  3. I voted for the Zephyr, although I must give props to the Monster!
  4. That's the best news I've heard in a long time.
  5. The Bat was removed due to the fact that the turns weren't.... just kidding. Yeah, I've heard The Bat was one of the best coasters ever.
  6. I'm not sure if they ever had double decker busses. I know they have a school bus-style bus that is owned by the Kings Island Resort now.
  7. One more anti-Arrow comment like that and you're outta here, mister!
  8. I agree... as far as I know, stand ups are dead for now. I doubt you'll see any new ones in the immediate future, but as soon as they come up with something innovative for them, they'll be back!
  9. Awesome! I'll be seeing more of you this summer!
  10. They wouldn't necessarily have to have floats, but perhaps just marching characters as well as music. I still don't see an area that's a good venue for it, though.
  11. When I worked at LaRosa's (not in PKI) people used to always complain that it's better at the park.
  12. Actually, go ahead and send them to both Dan and myself: Dan@pki-central.com BoddaH1994@pki-central.com Don't forget to submit ideas before the actual editorial.
  13. We are working on new and innovative ideas, but we want you guys to keep coming back to the site because you see what you want to see on it. That's why we're always open for suggestions.
  14. Some employees say that you can sit on the lower rail. I don't know if this is allowed by park rules or not, but it sure beats standing there for 45 mins.
  15. No reason to lock the topic. Eventually, news will pour in and we'll have something to say. Until then, let's just hope for the 18ft wide LCD screen.
  16. They could have stuck deli any old place. Why o why did they take out such a great coaster :jerry: There probably isn't too much of a correlation between KC being taken out and Delirium being put in its place. KC would have been taken out regardless, thus leaving a open area in one of the busiest areas of the park. It was perfect to add such a popular attraction to that vacancy.
  17. Can't help but agree with #1, but isn't Phantom's Revenge technically a Morgan, or something like that now?
  18. Although I do have a boatlaod of respect for the KC, I prefer Delirium. **Moving to the battle room.
  19. How about: Tomb Raider: Ok, The Movie Sucked, But Just Ignore The Video Clip and Ride The Ride
  20. Very good idea. Video... hmm... who knows what the crazy staffers of PKIC have cook already in this department... you're just going to have to wait. Oh yeah, the book... I own it, I read it, I like it. I know the park like the back of my hand, but still read it for reference as well as just enjoyment. Back on topic, what else do you guys want to see?
  21. I think the Paramount takeover has been a good thing for the park. They do have access to deeper pockets, and being able to use Paramount things is definately cool. **Moving to battle room.
  22. Beastie because John Allen is a god.
  23. The staff at PKIC is always working on improving the site, but when it all comes down, this isn't our site, it's yours. If you guys quit coming, then we have no reason to continue. In the spirit of that, I want to ask you what YOU would like to see on PKIC. Now, this is solely concerning content, not the forums. We already have a TON of things cooking for you guys in the coming months leading up to opening of the park, but details are a hush hush right now. Just brace yourself, and don't be over wealmed by too many surprises! Anyway, we want to bring you the best, most customized product that we possibly can, so please respond to this and tell us what you would want to see on PKIC. Thanks, Ryan ~~~~PKI-Central.com -- Bringing you MORE in 2004!!~~~~
  24. ^ No moderation needed. You have a good idea there. I get the feeling the myself as well as the rest of the PKIC staff has shot down the idea. We already have a "discussion" forum which you guys can discuss anything that you'd like. To be honest with you, I don't like it at all, but I'm not the owner so it stays. If you choose to make a forum as you described, you'll have the full support of PKIC. Feel free to review PKI-related things in the discussion forum. The general feeling amongst the PKIC staff is that we are already playing an extradorenary gamble with our fun and friendly enviornment with the discussion and battle room forums. The reason why we feel as though we can have those is due to the fact that we've been around for about six months now without a major war, and from that you have earned our trust. Unfortunately, if we have both a discussion forum and a forum for loosely PKI-related threads, it would turn overwelmingly into non-PKI related topics. The intent of this site is for PKI enthusiasts to come together and discuss PKI. As far as I'm concerned, that leans a lot more toward the rides, shows, and attractions of PKI rather than the movies of which they are themed. Thanks, Ryan
  25. Impossible for a launched 4D coaster it would hurt every one on the ride, it's structurely unstable i think a regular 4D would be nice. :cowboy: A launched 4D is more than possible. S&S and Arrow are already working on one with lighter 4D trains. The track is also different with only one guiderail in between the two other rails. Where did you get that it's unstable? I bet you don't know a thing about stability with roller coasters. I'm not saying that PKI will get a launched 4D, but I think it's possible for them to get a regular 4D. PKI was supposed to get the first ArrowBatic but that deal fell through. Now I think it's time for PKI to get the second 4D. Isn't the ArrowBatic the type of coaster with the train sitting between rails which parallel to the sides of the train? For those of you who don't know what I'm talking about, it kind of looked like a little airplane in which the two rails of the track would go through the "wings" of the plane. The point of the design, besides being original, was so it could easily do barrel rolls at any point during the course of the ride. From what I understand, they scrapped the idea since they couldn't find a way to load and unload people. ArrowOwnzU, if you have more info on this, you're more than welcome to start a thread in the Discussion section. Thanks, Ryan
