I caught the early morning news this morning and they talked about how Boomerang Bay was scheduled to open this summer. They mentioned that the construction is going as scheduled and that the park intends to use Paul Hogan to endorse the park via TV commercials, but no mention of him making an appearance at the park itself. Oh, I can tell you stories. My brother and I are the self-proclaimed champions of getting those black fiberglass tubs to spin like you wouldn't belive. Not only does it get the attention of everyone on the ride (it tends to shake the ride if you get going as fast as we do) but the entire que line and this one time we saw people stopping on the midway . I was rather proud of myself and my bro but after we got off, the fun stopped. Long story short, I laid on the ground next to Subway for about 15 minutes, but its a ride I will never forget. :cowboy: lol... great story How do you get them to spin? Do you just shift your body weight?

If you guys can't make it, don't sweat it.. there will be PLENTY of PKIC days this year.

I can see where you're coming from. Timberwolf is in a pretty busy part of the park, so I'm sure that the traffic that it brings really doesn't help out AZ at all. Although I highly doubt that it would ever be located, it would be better being on the outskirts of the park, so guests can enjoy both the park and the concerts without a rush through the more crowded areas of the park before and after the concerts.

Well, opening day is on a home stretch. It's been a very fast offseason (thank God!) and we're already looking at our first PKIC meeting day at the park!! Now, opening day is Friday, April 9th. We realize that a lot of you guys will have work or school so if we meet, we'd meet from like 5-8 or so (the park closes at 8 that night). Would you guys be willing to do this? Also, for those of you who have gone to opening day in the past, how busy is it generally? If we get a good response, we'll start a roster in a few days or so. Regards, Ryan

That was baaad. I don't remember any snakes at pki though.. I remember the time I told some blonde girl that she needs to see more movies since she said Tomb Raider was her favorite movie and she got all mad at me... I wonder whatever happened to her...

I remember this time when I rode TR and there were these punk kids throwing something at the canopy over the queue trying to knock down a stuffed animal that was up there. Finally the kid's friend helped him and he climbed on top of the whole thing, collected change and grabbed the stuffed animal, and climbed back down. This old guy in a security uniform came up to them and started yelling at them.. they got all apologetic thinking that they were going to get thrown out, but as it turns out, it wasn't a security guard at all, but just some crazy old guy in a security uniform. I'm surprised the real PKI security didn't come and throw those kids out.. they could have caused some real damage.

The only ride I can think of with a weight limit is Launch Pad, in which the limit is 200lbs. Very disappointing because I think it looks fun and I am just over that weight.

A few months ago, PKIC gave away an authentic FoF uniform shirt (won by Fusiondude). We considered this to be pretty successful and want to do it more. So tell us, what do you guys want? T-shirts, park memoribilia, cool photos we've taken... what?? Ryan

Onride videos are nearly impossible.. that has to be cleared with the park long beforehand to be able to even think about it. Now a simulation.... Check out pki.com for onride videos. Ryan
