CIN Weekly is actually a newspaper/magazine kind of like City Beat. I think it's free but I'm not sure. The link above is for the online version.

Vortex is still there. I rode it Saturday. It's not gone in 04. If any more evidence of the "sinking" theory surfaces, we'll start a new topic, but this is turning into a rumor mill.. Closing.. Ryan

First of all, welcome to our web site! Second of all, make sure you come to one of our PKIC meeting days. It hasn't failed to be a good time yet! Ryan PKIC Staff

Yeah, it was a great time. Our group consisted of me, Dane, Dan, Dirty Steve, and the Rickster.

Very good idea. The park just wouldn't be the same without Old Coney and Rivertown, but it would be an awesome transition to theme Oktoberfest like Hollywood Blvd. so you walk through that until you hit AZ, which is supposed to be like a movie set anyway.

That might refer to rides like WWC and Congo, but I'm not entirely sure. There is a distinct possibility that some rides will still be going through the final stages of rehab and will not be open. It could also just refer to the fact that the new Paramount Theatre show will not be open until the real opening day. I'm willing to say that there will be enough rides and attractions opened to make it worth your trip up there, though.

Well, free with a small service charge.

Drop Zone first followed by Delirium. I'm gonna roll up there with Dirty Steve and he was in the Air Force last summer and never got to ride Deli, poor kid. I think he's in for a pleasant surprise.

Baby pics are coming soon. Funny story about how I found out. I was at Hooters living the life that Charles had just given up when I got a voicmail from him. He went on for about a minute and a half about how he couldn't go to the park Sunday but would be able to go next weekend. It wasn't until the last 10 seconds that he told me why. lol THAT is a true PKI fan.

According to the PKI News Letter, the show will open on opening day. I'm sure that implies that it won't be open for the preview days. Look at the bright side, it took them until late May to get Spellbound rollin'.

Keep it nice kids, we're all friends here.

That defines the width and height of each image.. and its universal. So, when the image is put in, it is resized to 240 x 208.. its unfortunate they used the old pictures.... but... i'm sure it will be fixed in the near future. If you don't define the size of the image, but you define the size of the cell block, the image will be truncated to that size. That's how I make the thumbnail images for the BB updates on here.

I have my doubts about TR:TR v.2, but pretty much everything else mentioned in this thread has been confirmed.

Baby's born, issue is resolved. Check out the PKIC news section if you would like to comment further. Ryan

As the media director of PKI-Central.com, I have the fortunate responsibility of informing all of you that Charles Infosino (aka Italian Chef) and his wife Yukari have given birth to their first born child, a son named Antonino Infosino! If you don't know who Charles is, you don't come around here very often. Charles is the author of the Unofficial Guidebook to Paramount's Kings Island, one of the main posters here on PKIC, and an all around cool guy. So, if you run into Charles at one of our meeting days in the next few weeks, make sure to congratulate him! Regards, Ryan PKIC Media Director :chef:

PKI .com has been relaunched with a Hollywood theme! Click hereto check it out.

Just under 6 hours left now!

That's a half truth. It will take only a few days to erect the sign itself, but I'm sure (depending on how elaborate it is) it could take weeks or months to manufacture it.
-
That's IF it even changed at all. I've received no word as to whether or not the program will be changing for the 2004 season. Has anyone see any technicians around the ride that were out of the ordinary?
-
lol.... hey hey hey, I'll be the moderator here.

Hey, I'm just here to remind you that the contest isn't quite over yet! It ends Tuesday at 7:00, so if you want to be on of the first to shake off your off season blues, then bring your friends and fellow enthusiasts to PKIC so we can all have a great summer on here! You're just over 24 hours from the time of this posting... good luck! Regards, Ryan

It's going to be a boy name Antonino (sp?) called Nino for short.

From what I understand, Easter Sunday is one of the most dead days of the year for the park. Can anyone confirm this?
-
lol... oops, sorry about my total and utter inability to do math

Tomb Raider: The Ride is an dark flat ride which is more or less an indoor Huss Top Spin. It is extremely well themed and is of course based off of the Tomb Raider movie. Next time you visit the park, I'd recommend checking it out if you're not afraid to be flipped around a few times. Regards, Ryan
