Dane and I were lucky enough to take a IJ tour yesterday. I can tell you that the splash pool is indeed full and ready to splash!

Top gun only has one train....very long wait! Tomb Raider was down all day. Cave closed. Tower still closed. From what I can remember, everything else was up and running. IJ was still testing....did go by a couple times with a rider or two on board. Effects were running during the tests. They gave another tour today. The tunnel looks very sweet! They have a great effect planned for it! Happy Days and Greaters "offically" opened. The mom from the Happy Days TV show was there to meet and greet! SUPER SUPER friendly! She signed 3 things for me! Lol I bet you didnt know that Top Thrill Dragster didnt make it all the way over the hill and went back down close to loading station. (2 times) But now they got that fix with little boosters on the top And before you say im a lier ,Im not ,do you think CP would tell the public that it didnt make it over two times I use to work at CP Oh it has happened much more than 2 times! I even have it on video rolling back. The crowd reaction from the stands when it rolled back was something else. Like they couldnt believe it! Then after a couple of trys, it finally makes it and the whole crowd goes nuts! A very cool moment indeed!

Where Greaters is right now is a store that was empty last season. A couple of seasons ago it use to sell nothing but Beanie Babies when they were a hot item!

ummm, the video was not from a digital camera. It looks that way because I wanted to make it more dial up friendly. Don't get me started on the "pkicentral sucks" kid.

I got a card in the mail from PKI that said that the campground will NOT be open this summer. They are giving discounts for the hotel across the street in it's place.

Wasnt much open today. We rode Beast, TR:TR, Deli, FoF and recar twice. Did anyone else take the IJ:ST tour at noon today? I had to fight for it but I got my free cup darn it!

Now the real question is, will PKI's chick-fil-a be open on Sundays?

Well, you could always go the ebay route if you simply MUST go on the 1st. I just love this dudes description: "There is no cost for you to get in if you are the lucky bidder!" Well, what about the cost of winning the bid? And another one put out by this same idiot says: "You are bidding on four admission tickets to Kings Island on the first day it is open to the public." Well if it was "open to the public" wouldnt that mean that the public is invited and not just contest winners? Well, it is nice to know that "There are only a limited numer of the tickets, so the park will not be full." HIS spelling, not mine! I did however find these pretty cool viewmaster reels I would like to have! Ever onward!

I will be there all day on the 2nd, and a part of the 3rd. Will be doing more filming than riding however I will have to say hello to The Beast!

you have to thank your "friendly" PKIC staff for the reason why Jeff's comments about if the copter will be hidden or not were not included in the video. As I was filiming during that time, Ryan and Dane were talking, VERY LOUDLY, over what Jeff had to say about that subject!

It was such a fun night! I thought I would spice up the video just a tad and give you all a little something to laugh at. Look for cameos by our very own "UncleHenry" "Dane" "DirtySteve" and "Pki_Diana"!!! Let me know what you all think!

Not to worry, you will hear everything he had to say when the video gets posted! It is done, just waiting for Ryan to upload! Watch for cameos from some PKIC staff and some PKI employees!
