Those troubles that Interp mentioned as well as some environmentalists did not believe that the coaster should not be built of the side of the natural bluff. Building there did result in higher construction costs, but Paul Nelson (owner) has had this dream of RFII since he purchased the park eons ago. The amount of hoops Mr. Nelson had to jump through for this coaster were enormous. And it's not that those neighbors did not have a legitimate complaint because the coaster does come close to their condos, but, the park has been there for more years than they have been there, so they have IMO "squatting rights" and it is the park's land. It's just that when people bought the land for their condos, they never expected Waldameer to build down the bluff with a ride. But the park does keep rather short hours. Rides operate from 1:00pm to normally 10:00pm (and if it's a hoilday, a little later) and the park is closed on Mondays (again if it is a holiday, they will be open). Waldameer is a great little park. It has 2 of the better dark rides around, along with a fantastic flume, a ferris wheel with a view of Lake Erie that is beautiful and numerous other rides. And the cost is reasonable, $22.00 for an all day pass to both the water park and ride park. But here is the catch, the park is free to walk around and not ride.

Pictures, video, text messages, voice mails etc. Anything to imcriminate the three victims. My guess is that there are pics they took while taunting the tiger. Or at least that is what the zoo is hoping to find. They were quoted in the ambulance to not admit what they were doing before the attack. The zoo knows that those three just did not show up at the tiger cage, and 30 seconds later the tiger went nuts. Those guys were there for a while, doing whatever it was to upset the tiger enough that it went wild. During that time, they could have very easily taken a pic or video. But again, that is just my speculation.

You would be shocked on how many people absolutely despise CP. They actually criticize CP for not cleaning up the seagull crap in the parking lot claiming it will spread disease. So yeah, there are many people that have complaints about CP installing "used" rides.

Value is measured by how effective the product is with the cost. Since we have no idea on what the licensing costs are for either Peanuts or Nickelodeon true value cannot be measured accurately.

That would be one person's opinion, and not fact. If a ride needs to be painted or not gives zero indication on if the safety PM's (preventive maintenance) are being kept up. That would be like saying: "Well that car needs to be painted bad, the muffler is going to fall off soon."

Yeah, I was assuming that is what he was getting at. But considering the current rides under construction at other CF parks as well as the SoB improvments and the rumored TR improvments it is apparent that even though CF wants to be cautious about their money spent, they are not exactly being cheap either.

Ah, to be 13 again. I only have 7 more years before I am dealing with this stuff on a personal basis. I did ask my mother if I was a know-it-all smart a$$ **** when I was a teenager. Her response, ironically, was also a one word answer: "Worse".

If she was not trained on how to use the E-Stop or the recovery procedure once an E-Stop has occured; then she was not properly trained and should have not been operating a ride. It is possible that the way everything happened there was not enough time to hit the button, but it is going to be difficult for SF to defend themselves if she was not properly trained to begin with.
