We are not close to that stage yet. Yet....... The SoB topics are so numerous over many years & have so much imagination in their contents, it would be of epic proportions to reach an "SoB topic status". I have felt for many years that the KIC community would not be where it's at without SoB to discuss.

The troll complains of the jackhammering of DB, but lets it be known SoB was their favorite coaster. Comedy truly has no boundaries.

Good thing you went to KD yesterday. The park is closed today due to weather.

The rain was quite heavy early today. When it slowed to just above a drizzle, Beast, DB, Racer, were all operating 100% (only 1 side on Racer). When the rain pretty much stopped, everything was operating very well and at 100% (except only one side on Racer which still was sending out less than full trains.) There was zero need for Fast Lane today. Longest wait was 45 minutes for FoF during the heaviest rain. Once the rain stopped, everything was almost a walk-on except FoF (20 min) & FH (30). Much marathoning was going on if there were no guests waiting for a specific car (Beast, FD, Racer)

Just watched the 3:30 show. Very entertaining. A certain large dad represented KIC for the knife stunt. My manhood is still intact. I also met Ohiocolts after the show who was also representing KIC. It was great to put a face with the member.

There will always be some that believe SoB was a great coaster. Consider this: coaster polls are pretty much crap. Certain fanboys of parks or manufacturers will push their favorite to the top without experiencing other coasters. Enthusiasts will never agree which ride is the best. But when it comes to the worst? The majority if the same enthusiasts have put SoB near the bottom of every poll. When most enthusiasts agree, it's rather scary.

KI needs a reliable coaster after the past decade+ known as the SoB debacle. While they are not "perfect", there is a no more reliable coaster out there than a B & M. But let's not get tunnel vision. The current area that is being modified could possibly be used for more than one ride.

The day usually goes by pretty fast with the normal ups & downs. Sometimes in circles, yet, restrained.

What do you expect to happen when track shows up? You are still gonna have to wait till next year to enjoy it. Take a step back and think about this: only a handful of footers are in. Why would track show up now? It has no where to go except sit & take up space.
