  1. Yo Kid, Actually it does matter what day it was. Even from your first post, you had hoped the crowd had thinned out, only to find out your wish was terribly inaccurate and extremely misguided. Trip reports from other enthusiast sites noted how insanely busy it was that day. Many even questioned having this type of promotion on a weekend. Ironically, nobody complained about the supposed stacking on KI's only B & M coaster. Don't blame the ride ops for your poor decision. It makes you sound petty to complain about the park crowd when it was your bad decision to begin with.
  2. Some just get way too butt hurt when others disagree with their personal view, then publicly cry about it. This is a KI park forum. There is no serious Earth-shattering decisions made here. I personally love having fun with some (even poking fun at myself), but never let it get serious enough where I am actually mad. Those who choose to get emotionally mad at this stuff will certainly have (if it's not difficult already) a difficult time in the real World. People will purposely push your buttons just to get an emotional reaction because at that point you are no longer actually using intelligent reasoning but are letting your emotions take over. If it's happening here, you know it must be happening in your personal life.
  3. ^ It can be Interpreted as creating drama.

  5. I agree, you do not understand as the goal for parks is to have happy guests, not just happy enthusiasts. When waiting an extended amount if time for a ride on a busy day (let's use bring a friend day as a prime example) the enthusiast knee-jerk reaction is to blame ride ops for not hustling as opposed to blaming the enthusiast's own decision for going to a park on an obvious busy day. That said: A true comparison between two parks' ride crew dispatch times can only be achieved with the same exact ride located between the two parks-which does not exist. Comparing DB and Raptor would be unfair due to Raptor's ride crew being able to access the restraints with extreme ease. Comparing DB & MF is also unfair due to guests on MF not being allowed to bring loose articles onto the ride platform.
  6. Someone stick a penny on Merthecat's head! Brown- who remembers how to fix a skip. (Anyone else???)
  7. So it's Kinzel's fault of TTD's early issues, not Intamin? In turn you are now giving credit to other manufacturers that would not take on a project like TTD and falling victim to a park's virtual impossible demands. It's nice to see you are now seeing the light.

  9. The policy states you cannot bring outside food and beverages into the park! Why can't people understand that? And you can get drinks all around the park! This is the same person who will then blame the park for not having security because their personal belongings were taken by thieves. Just think: this lady is all concerned about food & water. They obviously must have a cooler. Why not just keep it in the car like other thrifty park guests?
  10. ^ The weather is favorable, go to CP.
  11. Enjoy the "old park atmosphere". KI had that atmosphere pre-Paramount. Hershey still has it. So does BGW. All the woodies are classics. Pay closer attention to Thunderbolt & Racer. Both are extremely unique and have a "that's cool" factor.
  12. By now? He has been laughing at stuff like this for years.
  13. ^ Making sense takes the fun out of guessing.....
  14. This is, by far, the biggest hint. What killed the wicked witch? Water! IT'S GONNA BE AN AQUATRAX! (I beat Lance to the punch! WHOOOHOOOO!)
  15. While any ride can go down at anytime for any reason, a majority of CP's 2013 ride issues have been weather related with below average temps & near double rainfall. Those on FB tend to over dramatize everything then blame the park for everything. Rest assured, the powers at CP want every ride operating every minute the park is open but they cannot control the weather.
  16. CLP's issues start with location & end with attendance. The locals have grown bored with it. The tourists are more interested in Lake Erie. CLP is too small & too far off the tourist path to compete with newer attractions. It is a sad story.
  17. And this is another problem with this site lately. If you don't have proper terminology , someone has to be an **(edit for the grammer Nazi)**
  18. It will be some type of record breaker. i.e.: Largest invert in Southern Ohio, fastest coaster East of I-71, steepest incline in the Eastern time zone, most inversions in a park in Southern OH etc. It's all about marketing, not that promoting these elements is a bad thing, but some only see the "-est" and not the finer points.
  19. I'm sorry your stuff was stolen. Hint #1: Don't bring a bag with valuables into the park. Hint #2: Wear clothing that: buttons, velcros, or zips for a small amount of cash, ID, credit card, and a car key. . Hint #3: Leave the cell phone in the car. Enjoy the park without being attached to the outside World for a few hours. Hint #4: If you MUST have a bag full of stuff, spend the $$ for a locker. It's cheaper than what you are currently going through.
  20. Gang showers. It's gonna be a big room with nothing but a gang shower.
  21. ^^ I never want to say impossible, but...... Think of this: as a coaster manufacturer, would you put your stamp of approval on something that you did not oversee the construction of & something that is over a couple decades old? Then there is that pesky bolt hole pattern,,,,,
  22. Trolls also continue to say the same thing over, and over, and over, and over. There are only two reasons why to repeat that many times: to get a reaction (trolling) or attempting to cram your opinion down others' throats which simply disrespects another's free speech. Ironic?
