****RAISES HAND***** I KNOW!!!! I KNOW!!!!! AROUND YOUR FANNY!!!!

^^^That same dense population is a double edged sword. There are so many other things to do in the LA area, people have too many options to spend time & money. It is this exact reason the NFL has not put a franchise back in the area.

CP used a similar "World Record" when WT was built: The only park with 3 coasters over 200'. http://www.ultimaterollercoaster.com/coasters/new02/cp_wickedtwister/cp_wicked_pr.shtml

Tunnels in mini skirts, terrain dives in bikinis.

You already anticipate many breakdowns??This is how Intamin needs to change their image. A fan expects massive downtime.

Time to tighten up that fanny pack!

You call it ragging, many would call it reality. Nobody posted anything that was not true of SoB. It was what it was. You want to remember everything that was supposed to be good about SoB on paper, but ended up being demolished because of those same reasons. Have any examples of when this happened to a coaster project?

You will see track/ support beams & equipment (CRANES ) before anything goes vertical.

What type of repercussions for KI? I only ask because prints are revised sometimes on a hourly basis due to unforeseen circumstances such as digging issues (as one example). Now if KI took out wetlands, and the original prints did not show that, I could understand repercussions, but not for typical changes. As for the prints having so much detail: it really is as easy as a few keystrokes and moving the mouse. You could easily remove the track with the click of the mouse, and add a different layout using the same footers. What needs to be remembered is: although the prints found are believed to be public record, there is not law stating the prints have to be available to the public by a certain time/ date. Mason/ Warren County deals with many businesses and has to keep certain records private until the party submitting the prints allow them to be released. The prints found could very well be the real thing. They could also be as fake as a $3 bill.

Some want to risk trespassing charges just to look at track...... Just sayin' The media has been known to make many mistakes when it comes to amusement parks/ rides. Needless to say, what the media has come up with in the past has been amusing.

Defunct or not, it was still an extremely historic coaster. Historic for all the wrong reasons. KI is wise to distance themselves from any SoB association with the new ride. This is why it will most likely be from B&M who has a great track record of uptime & safety as opposed to Intamin. Imagine if KI did go with Intamin & the ride had to be "modified" a la: WT, Maverick or I-305 or have considerable downtime a la: TTD, KK, or WT? Park goers will immediately mention SoB in the confusion. Yes. Worlds tallest, fastest, and only looping wooden coaster is all the wrong reasons...you make no sence You mean sense? Yes, SoB had many notible "-est's" and a loop. It was also those same "-est's" that proved to be SoB's downfall from day one. Now the ride, along with those records are history. Included in that history is: the amount of money spent to "fix" it, the amount of downtime, and the amount of injuries the ride caused. No park wants to associated with that.

Blue prints are so easily made anymore, it could take an engineer minutes to come up with a fake. We do it with CAD everyday at work. A few keystrokes and moving the mouse and **PRESTO** a blueprint has been born. I'm not saying the mentioned print is fake or real, but to say with any certainty it is 100% fake or 100% real is just blowing hot air.

BS was just operating, so it is safe to assume the train destroyed was in storage. -

They also have Hurler, eliminating any potential personal jealousy of the park itself. Now KD's location we all can be jealous of. The close proximity to BGW, home to 3 fantastic B & M's which are all: fun, reliable, and (most importantly) safe makes the area near KD a great family destination. -

The Ford Explorer is the best selling SUV in the market, it doesn't mean it's the best.Take a cue from newbie TrOy: intelligence without attempting to twist others' opinions.

As much as I applaud Intamin's engineering risks, their reliability & safety record is that of a Ford Pinto. The safe vote is for B & M.

I wish to thank everyone at KIC for all their hard work. It has been a fun 10 years! Perhaps the execs at KIC will accept "donations" to help with the site? I'm sure there is an expense for running/ operating KIC and I (and I'm sure others) would like to help out. KIC has let me take a break from life a little bit each day over the past 10 years. It's only fair for me to show gratitude back!
