While I do agree an inverted wing would be the same experience as a normal wing, I find it interesting you can absolutely 100% guarantee it will not happen.There are only a handful (maybe less) here that know what the ride actually is. Everyone else is still decoding. What makes you so sure?

People will certainly be people- no doubt about that. And when someone's only contribution is stirring the pot just for the sake of stirring the pot- I'm gonna call them out on it till they either contribute constructively or simply go away. KIC has grown over the (almost) 10 past years to be a close-nit community. I am proud to have been part of it for almost that entire time. I have had disagreements with many members. While we have disagreed, we still respect each other. Trolls do not show respect. Instead of helping, they will criticize a person's weight or what they wear. There are no good reasons for such things.

There will always be trolls around with the only reason for posting is to upset the apple cart. I appreciate those who can give constructive criticism. Just saying "it sucks" or "I'm mad" everyday does not contribute anything.

GK has accomplished exactly what Mr. Ouimet wanted: a family friendly ride that had everyone in mind- not just the thrill seekers. Mission accomplished!

I'm excited with ya!Any large addition to any park is reason to be excited. The park is reinvesting the money I spend there to better my & my family's experience. The only downfall for me is that I do not live close enough to KI to make the 5+ hour trip down. I did consider it, but ironically, relatives from Cincy are coming up late Thursday/ early Friday. The KIC livestream will be a great runner-up to actually being there!

Just got back from golfing. Not sure what was worse: my swing or the trolls seen here. I see our resident A-Rod is stirring the pot still attempting to poison KIC from celebrating a new addition to KI. Having an open mind works for most of us. For others, they continue to throw temper tantrums because we enjoy KI (and in turn KIC) for the enjoyment the park brings. I thoroughly enjoy both Intamin and B & M coasters. Each bring new ideas & thrills. Excluding one because you don't enjoy it, great, go to a park (and in turn another site) that is all about Intamin. I will be the first to promote both, or criticize both. But for heaven's sake, if you don't like KI's new addition, say it once. We get it.

KI marketing has directed those following on Twitter/ FB to KIC on a handful of occasions. So the updates are for everyone, just with KIC in mind to stir the pot.

Diversion has been the word during this whole project. Why would it stop now? IMO- How the announcement date was announced right along with the blue prints being found was too "neat". The prints have been very easy to come by & if they are the real thing, I would be surprised KI did not kindly ask the KIC admins to remove it. Back when Maverick was about to be announced, the plans were released to Screamscape which then ended up on PointBuzz. *If I am not mistaken* CP requested the plan information be removed from PB until the formal announcement. EDIT- the footer locations could be correct but the direction the track goes could be completely different than what we saw. When it comes to Banshee- "Banshee" was scrapped for "Mantis" due to the "meaning" it portrayed. "Banshee" does not fit Mr. Oimet's family direction. Again, finding the trademark info has been very easy. When Diamondback was being planned & "decoded", as far as I can remember, no one found DB's name trademarked until the official announcement. Both the prints & name could be very real, but it would not surprise the least bit me to find out neither are real.

My guess is marketing. Thursdays are typically not as busy as Fridays. When I first read this (or more specific, scanned) I saw "mounting" instead of "mourning". It was a "OMG" then a "LOL" moment at work.
