  1. Aliens are obviously not too smart. Not only was the fire in the wrong place, SoB has been gone for quite some time.
  2. Yes. Someone knows. (C'mon someone had too)
  3. Villan was not too bad early on. SoB on the other hand......
  4. Changing restraints sounds simple, but is actually very difficult. The current seats are engineered to the current restraints. Re-engineering the restraints on a ride introduced in 1987 will not be looked upon as a good return on investment.
  5. I'm torn as to which has less integrity: Getting more than one first rider shirt with the intent of selling it. -or- Purchasing a first rider shirt with the intent of claiming you actually were a first rider.
  6. Fitting that this topic was resurrected on Easter.
  7. Totally agree!Although, it is not just fun at night.
  8. Which section refers to particular gravy style?
  9. Can opener. It's an older ride.....
  10. The Beast footprints extended to the tower & around it for a handful of years. It is my understanding that the significance at that time was to showcase the length of The Beast line on excessively busy days the first couple years.
  11. And to think for quite some time (right around the Paramount purchase) many criticized CF for pairing with Peanuts because there was no link for today's youth. Now it will be a movie.
  12. I have a relative allergic to peanuts. First thing that is always asked when at a restaurant: do you use peanut oil and is there a possibility the food has come in contact with peanuts? Why is this relevant? When you have a condition that has special restrictions, you know where & when to ask questions relating to your condition.
  13. Funny how his service to our country was reported, which while great, has zero to do with riding, and his safety was not mentioned once.
  14. BGW will always be one of my favorites (along with Hershey- if you have not been there). The rides, food, themeing, cleanliness, detail is at an elite level. Unfortunately, KD has always been average in my book.
  15. This is not a train stuck on a lift hill. It became newsworthy because the fire department was called in to use a cherry picker in the middle of the ride. Same thing happened many moons ago on Magnum's second drop. Fire trucks were called in from Cleveland.

  17. Love this! http://blog.petflow.com/a-bully-called-this-news-anchor-fat-and-what-happened-next-is-incredible-please-watch/
  18. The perks of staying at a CP resort will be the separation from other hotels.
  19. Disney is an excellent example as is any hotel with shuttle service to an attraction like a casino. Most inclusive resorts also have shuttle service to the main attraction in the area.
  20. It depends what you consider "inland". Many resorts use busses to transport guests from accommodations to the featured attraction. CP does currently do this, but on a much smaller scale.
  21. CV could very well be moving off-Point to the Rt. 6 corridor East of CP. CV's size has changed considerably over the past 25-30 years. Pre SC & Magnum, CV was quite possibly triple+ it's current size. When it comes to Maverick, I believe it was planned all along to take place of WWL which had eclipsed it's lifespan by a handful of years. That does not mean another coaster has not been in the works for the CV area, but I can't imagine that amount of "ideas" CP receives each year. And the pic? It looks to me it is the window of a camper/ motor home with blinds drawn.
  22. Don't knock it till ya try it. Dick's is a fun place to go.
  23. This will cement GK's place in history!
