Which parks use the system directly linked to your card and do not need "charged"? SeaWorld Entertainment parks, for one, can use it either way. You can load cash onto the wristbands and use them like a gift card, or you can link the wristband to your credit card and charge purchases to it to your heart's content. Sea World works just like Disney and does not access your card account for every purchase: http://seaworldparks.com/buschgardens-williamsburg/Park-Info/Know-Before-You-Go?m=1

^ Disney is capped at whatever amount you choose. The $$ is withdrawn off your debit/ credit card, checking account (or even cash) and put onto your Disney account to be used at any Disney venue. The funds are not withdrawn from your credit card per transaction with Disney as a "middle man".

You are literally referring to a credit card which card holders can earn points. For Disney to offer what you suggest, they would have to be their own licensed bank. They still have an agreement with Visa for such things.

Or brass; which is very soft & used in many machining applications as a "sacrificial" metal to protect more valuable metals & their application.

Waldameer uses a similar system.I had my doubts at first, but after using it for the past couple years, the positives far outweigh the negatives. You don't need to carry cash (and subsequent change); just use your credit/ debit card. Parents can purchase cards for kids. Money will not get wet. No issue with getting the incorrect change back. KI could go a step further & include a season pass to be used a cash that could be charged prior to going to KI, much like a D&B card. KI also can keep tabs on all the cash. The more hands that touch the cash, the more it could be "lost". There will be a time that the only way to pay for things in the park will be to use the system.

OMG!I am SO sorry!

^ Seasonal parks are open approximately 150 days. Losing 25% of the season is terrible for guests and makes parks look incompetent. You can spin it however you want. The lies you spread about DB stacking only to turn around and claim losing 25% of a season because of a blown motor being something you can live with only reinforces the constant closed-mind trolling you bring to KIC. U mad bro?

Another failure by an Intamin. Is it coincidence? Is it poor engineering? Is it an epidemic? Guests are not happy. Parks are not happy. B & M is happy.

The same reason Intamin installed 6 trains on TTD and only uses 5: what looks good in theory & on paper does not always work out in reality.

Went to CP recently and COULD NOT BELIEVE the stacking on WT, an Intamin.

How does a ride "appear" to be rough?- Brown- remembering looking at a SBNO SoB often in 2000. -

I would question if BD could even be rehabbed at this point. -

Kenton's Cove Sailboat Canal. That is just AWESOME! 1. The Bat 2. KCSBC KCKC 3. 'Tiques 4. Flight Commander 5. Enchanted Voyage (either one) 6. Phantom Theatre 7. Zodiac 8. KC 9. The park pre-Paramount The biggest for me has to be Lion Country Safari. -
***APPLAUSE*** ***APPLAUSE*** Well done CF & KI. The announcement is as impressive as the decoding has been.

Thrilling in who's eyes? My kids believe everything is thrilling.

Say what ya want about Mr. Knizel; you gotta give credit where credit is due: It takes a true man to admit he made a $25,000,000 mistake.

maXair is 2 years Jr. to Delirium. My guess is maXair was engineered with the bugs worked out.

Cedar Point was around over a century prior to MF. If it wasn't Intamin, another company would have built the coasters. (This is turning into another decoding thread! )

An engineering stamp just proves of when the plans were received, it does not mean the plans are accurate.City/ County offices receive many prints on a daily basis. A stamp is then applied to the print. Prints are changed often. Are the prints accurate? We will all find out tomorrow.
-
How do you 100% know the drawings are accurate? It should also be noted companies like B&M are always coming up with new concepts which we have never seen yet.
-
While I do agree an inverted wing would be the same experience as a normal wing, I find it interesting you can absolutely 100% guarantee it will not happen. There are only a handful (maybe less) here that know what the ride actually is. Everyone else is still decoding. What makes you so sure?

^ Sounds like the storm will be trolling Don's announcement.

And for others, it would be the addition of Gemini. CP's skyline has certainly changed over the years!

People will certainly be people- no doubt about that. And when someone's only contribution is stirring the pot just for the sake of stirring the pot- I'm gonna call them out on it till they either contribute constructively or simply go away. KIC has grown over the (almost) 10 past years to be a close-nit community. I am proud to have been part of it for almost that entire time. I have had disagreements with many members. While we have disagreed, we still respect each other. Trolls do not show respect. Instead of helping, they will criticize a person's weight or what they wear. There are no good reasons for such things.
