Beach Reopens
Inside joke? Perhaps it is because the "OPEN NOW" sign never seemed to moved off the slides for a few years, even in the winter. As far as thinning the crowds, probably not that much you would notice. SC admission is still included with KI. The Beach will be a separate charge.

Riders stuck on Beast for 10 minutes...
After brewing upon this overnight: Non-emergency calls to 911 should be met with charges against the caller. Bogging down emergency lines with these types of calls is concerning as this is just one example of bad 911 judgement. I can only imagine the other types of calls 911 receives on a daily basis.

Riders stuck on Beast for 10 minutes...
What did they expect a call to 911 to accomplish? People like this need to be given their money back & escorted to an exit. An attempt to enter the park again and you will face trespassing charges. And shame on any media outlet reporting this non-story.

CoasterMania! questions
Resort shuttles go to any stop (i.e.: front gate, marina gate, SC, HB, SS, Bay Harbour Inn etc.) and have ran that early for special events.

Amusement Park Accident
^^^ Xcelerator @ KBF. Many conspiracy theorists believed this was also fake. Can someone confirm Intamin's fix for this problem?

Millie, Maverick valley at CP
Maverick is back up & running. It is extremely windy & cold on Lake Erie today. As far as winching it through: perhaps the valleying was a mechanical issue as opposed to a weather issue? Or would the time & effort to winch it be the same as removing the train? Update: we just had wet snow precipitation.

Souviner cups no longer allowed...
At least in the area I live, it's all about fluoride. http://www.cancer.gov/cancertopics/factsheet/Risk/fluoridated-water Conspiracy theorists believe it causes cancer. Dentists have proven it prevents tooth decay. It is believed that bottled water does not have enough fluoride to cause cancer. I do love the irony of tooth decay & the topic at hand!

Man Loses Life Savings On Carnival Game...
While this guy brings bad judgement to a whole other level, imagine the carnival worker that just let him do it. No integrity. No values. I have always wondered how bad off a person must have it to live that type of life. I truly feel bad for both people. Now I'm gonna go hug my wife & kids.

How often are rides inspected?
Maintenance will also partake in a few trips on steel coasters (probably most rides) after a few test runs to "listen" for potential problems. It is amazing what can be heard on an empty train early in the morning.

A Taste of What's To Come
Gratuity required? Is the HoFG going to charge a gratuity % for all/ any service like other restaurants do with tables of 8 or more? I ask because this "requirement" would be a major shift in table service policies for CF. I typically overtip for good service because of my past being in the food service industry, but "requiring" a tip leaves a bad taste in my mouth as bad service should not be encouraged.

I'm Selling My Gold Adult 2013 Passes
*I believe* if you contact the park, they may allow you to use the 2013 unused passes for 2014. Be sure to get clear confirmation of that.

Jack Falfas Back To Work Order--Damages Remanded to Court
There will be a settlement. They don't want him back, and I can't imagine (even after being vindicated) he would want to go back. A hefty settlement is much more appealing than looking over your shoulder every minute of the day.

Rumors on connecting AZ to X-Base
^ In addition to that, does KI actually want 2 separate walkways in close proximity of each other, that go in the same direction & ending at the same location thus duplicating all services (services being: food, drink, facilities, etc.)? If anything (but not anytime soon), I can see KI connecting to X-Base, but looping all the way around the former SoB footprint and/ or the land used for Animal Safari.

Does the threat of terrorism deter you from attending parks?
I wonder if parents that choose not to go to parks due to the threat of terrorism allow their kids to go to school?

Does the threat of terrorism deter you from attending parks?
Do things like this concern me? Sure. They probably concern most people. Will that stop me from doing something? Other than vacationing in the Middle East- HELL NO!

Geauga Lake land will be sold -- in pieces
Not agreeing with the strategy does not mean they are unhappy. And let's face it, the strategy the last 5+ years has yielded zero results leaving vacant land. If Aurora wants the property used in a certain way, make it attractive for potential buyers by offering tax breaks or something of the sort.

Is there another link? I don't see where it says they are not happy.
