  1. I believe only the date has been released so far, minus the details. If I am not mistake from past practices, the details are usually released in February.
  2. I themed sign would be terrible marketing as it gives the appearance that the ride is closed often (even if it is true).
  3. ^ I wouldn't mess with Timberwolf. The Singing Spirts will get you!
  4. Just because it was once used during normal operating season does not mean it's use, or timing of use, cannot change.CP just built a structure specifically for HW use. I cannot consider that a waste of space either as is serves a specific purpose.
  5. But your leg will not fall of while walking. A wheel falling off is concerning as it has to be one of the easiest items to check during a routine inspection. Now if that check is once/ month, the checks need to be increased; if the check is once/ day, was the check performed, or just "signed off". There are MANY scenarios that need investigated. I hope it is something easy, and not a case of incompetency.

  7. The gall to not know how to do that is infuriating, no doubt. Perhaps he was to preoccupied with doing the tens of thousands, or hundreds of thousands of things that were more important than knowing how to take, what you deem to be, a "proper screenshot" or perhaps he couldn't care less... Ya gotta admit though it is very funny to post about a typo on FB by taking a literal pic of a desktop screen, but cannot take a screen shot, or even take the time to Google how to take a screen shot.
  8. You would find me at KI..... Duh.
  9. They did. The result was: Just sayin'. KI also needs to stay away from using "Beast" in a name. Adding another "Beast" will just confuse people.
  10. There were many things done over many years at great expense to fix it. None worked.
  11. I have to admit, it does make me chuckle to hear of all these extremes referring to the snow/ weather- especially from the media. Where I live in Erie, PA, we had about 12" this morning. It was a: "meh, it snowed" morning. It took me about an hour to clear my driveway/ sidewalk & my neighbor's driveway/ sidewalk (her husband unexpectedly passed away in the fall & like a good neighbor- Brown was there! ). I had a humorous experience while in Atlanta for Super Bowl XXXIV. The entire East coast was in an ice storm & nobody knew how to deal with it- even at the hotel I stayed at where I witnessed a frustrated father using a screwdriver to removes the ice from his windshield. Take your time driving. Find a back road/ parking lot and hit the gas/ brakes HARD to get the feel of your car sliding. Did I mention take your time?

  13. How much snow did you get?
  14. I recently learned using Photobucket with my iPhone you can upload your pic, then copy the "IMG code" & paste it directly to the "reply box" and it works perfectly. I don't see why an iPad or iPad mini would be any different.
  15. I really wonder what people expect a minimum wage job to be like. Is it hard work? Sure. Long hours? Yes. What job (not just minimum wage) does not have these two things in common? Even the recent Wal-Mart boycotts were absurd. Could Wal-Mart pay their employees more? Sure. Then their low prices on everyday items will go up and those same people making minimum wage will not be able to afford the things necessary to live. If anything, hard work at minimum wage should serve a reality check that unless you work even harder, your talents will be wasted on a minimum wage job.
  16. Comments like that are typical due to most not understanding the importance of the position. I have been part of a company where the new president made decisions that made such an impact, the company is still barely hanging on 4 years later. Some may not believe this the way that I do: "You get what you pay for."
  17. Absolutely! We had cats named Bernie & Manny. Their nine lives came up.
  18. Julianna is catching up to Great-Grandma! Cleveland opening his stocking

  20. Thanks for taking the time to respond Don! I have thoroughly enjoyed reading them! Will we see a continued improvement in food selections for 2013? Happy Holidays!
  21. At CP many years ago, we would get many laughs by being "devious" at WWL. There used to be a "mountain" theme on the ride (except for about the last 3-5 years of WWL's existance) that would pour water directly in the center of the boat. We would get the attention of those in the boat from the midway & they would just stare at us while rounding the corner, never seeing the pouring water. Then WHAMMMOOO! wet riders. Those CP employees attending to the train laughed as hard as we did.
