  1. Did anyone else here notice Terpy's post about diversion? This is the second old topic he's mentioned that in.
  2. I doubt Flight Commanders queue would be very good. 1) There is an access road behind it and not much space between the access road and the queue. 2) It is very small. 3) It is used as a storage area in the Fall/Winter. Wolf Pack will stay in its location until it is no longer a Haunt or if they use that station for another coaster.
  3. From what I remember, they own somewhere along the lines of 360 acres with only 160 of it being "developable." I'm sure you could find that with the search option. My friends parents live in a subdivision behind the park and they love the fireworks every night in the summer. To each their own.
  4. I'm not saying this is correct, but park employees tend to hear a lot of factual information. I had heard about WindSeeker well before it was announced, knew about The Crypt's closing, and the new Haunts in 2009 before they were announced. It only takes one person to overhear a conversation and it spreads like wildfire. With that said, I don't think this is true, but I wouldn't discount it just because they are some "16 year old ride operator." You never know who they know or are related to.
  5. Still less than 64, but infinitely more than 0.
  6. Insert random post about American's with Disabilities Act and the fact that the IR does not have an elevator accessible from International Street. It does however have a freight elevator in the backstage area. I would say it either replaces Cinnabon or the Pretzel shack.
  7. When I worked at a laser tag arena, back in the day. They had problems with the paint and upkeep of the facility. They found out the fog juice they were using was slightly corrosive. That could be concern.
  8. Anyone happen to think that this room may be a scene for the haunt? May be stretching here, but it could be a room.
  9. I doubt tips would be taken. It is probably the same food service employees who are not allowed to take tips.
  10. I would not be surprised to see some sort of flat ride put in Thunder Alleys spot for next year, in order to start drawing some of the crowd toward Action Zone. It could also be a queue line/station area for the 2014 coaster.
  11. Fridays are infinitely better than Saturdays as far as crowds go. Typical Saturdays at the Haunt are some of the busiest days of the year in terms of total attendance.
  12. Uhhhh hand cars. The bain of my existence.
  13. Probably January. Negative things stay with your record until they throw it away. It used to be 7 years. Worth trying anyways, they may consider it if you seem to have matured since your last incident depending on how bad it is.
  14. The park also lost power in 2010 during the 4th of July-ish timing. The rides were evacuated following evacuation procedures. As MarketingExpress stated, the rides do not have back up generators and will not complete their cycles. Coasters will stop at the next breaking area if they are on the course at the time, flat rides will stop their cycle. Delirium would swing to a stop, from there, not sure how they would evacuate. All water rides lose their pump power, so the water will drain and the flume, inner tube will stop at it's current position.
  15. Please don't write any novels anytime soon.
  16. They do use the upper platform pretty regularly. Can't say why they use the lower one vs. the upper one, but it's not too uncommon for that to happen.
  17. Everyone on here is so smart! Happy Monday.
  18. If you think the Zoo is hot have you ever been to Cedar Point? Jeez louise. At least the Zoo has lots of shade.
  19. I don't think The Crypt seats and Delirium's seats are the same. Delirium's were mounted around a circle and I seem to remember them meshing well together. I would think they'd be different.
  20. Rides go down, its a fact of life get over it. Feel free to ride WindSeeker when its broken and let me know how that goes for you. Its not like they are closing rides for the fun of it, its usually for an issue that prevents you from riding safely.
  21. And this year they got a B&M giga...
  22. Eiffel Tower, Carousel, or KI and MVR would be my 3 guesses for number 2.
  23. Let's ride Diamondback below its minimum operating temperature!
  24. I think if he could or wanted to say, he would have.
  25. The Subway on Western Row is by far the worst Subway I've ever been in. I wouldn't eat there again if someone paid me. It was filthy, disgusting, and the AC didn't work.
