  1. The old car sits behind HB land, in the parking lot by the warehouses.
  2. Where there is no line, my line(s) are short, because the switch backs are closed....
  3. I don't allow that on my ride(s) queue lines, and sure hope other ride ops don't allow it as well! Queue jumping is more about safety sometimes then line jumping. So I don't allow people to duck through the rails, or hop over them, even when there ISN'T a line.
  4. I know on my rides, the body control rules are told to the ride ops, not always in the map. And in the disability guides it has always (since 2003) listed every rides body control requirements.
  5. If I'm working in the park, I'm either on the Tower or the Carousel, right next to it. I know it's Beastbuzz today, but I am off, I may see everyone later though.
  6. No I'm not. There's more safety and security things on that thing than you think.
  7. I have accepted a teaching position at a local high school, and I feel that that job will take up a tremendous amount of my time. And I don't want to be too stressed.
  8. While it's been a great couple of years. I'm sad to report, that I will most likely be leaving in August, to start the newest chapter in my life.
  9. HEY! I thought I was at least liked by you people. I'm never telling you anything anymore. Not even the height of the tower. I'll just skip that speech when I see you.
  10. Yup. Decided to keep track this year, total number up and total number down, and total milage this ride supervisor will do over the course of the season. Remember, Tower has only really been open 2 weekends anyway. Since the 21st of May.
  11. Only two engines.. As I call them Thomas the (Tank) Engine (blue train) and his friend Percy (green train).
  12. Personally I would contact PKI, and tell them it happened, and then sit back to see if the paralegal calls again. PKI can direct you on what to say / not say.
  13. I don't know who this guy is, but there's a person who has the license plate "B and M". He's at all of the special events. Theres also Beast 25 and Cobra, but they are / were employees.

Ryan, You now get tickets at the ride line queue (front) not at the Eiffel Tower Kiosk.
  16. Charles, how come you didn't choose to visit me? I haven't seen a PKICer up there in over 2 weekends. How sad.
  17. I wish I had your attitude. I've been ridiculously over emotional for days now.
  18. They will continue to do it until they fall off and hurt themselves. That is what happened to me when I was younger, since then I haven't done it. Cause I had a huge gash in my head from walking on them and slipping.
  19. Yeah, Ya'll are slacking, I usually see at least 1 to 2 of you every weekend. What is up with this "We're not here." JK, guys I know you have lives.
  20. This is my fourth year with the park. The first two years, I quit working when school began, because I was worried about my academic load. However, ;ast seaspm amd this season, I have worked beginning to end with the park. It's not that bad to manage, because I've limited myself to a shift a day, max of 2 shifts per a weekend. Now for this season, I am feeling more stressed because I'm working, teaching at Amelia High 3 days a week, and going my last quarter in UC's undergrad program. So after June 12th, I will feel much less stressed. As for the following hiring question, I really don't think rides is still hiring. I know that food, merch, and security (according to the sign outside wardrobe) still appear to be hiring.
  21. In Rides, the maximum hours allowed to be worked in a 7 day week is 69.99 hours. It varies in other departments though.
  22. You've got it, Dan. Shot down.
  23. Well the website also says that the Eiffel Tower is 331.5 ft tall, which is incorrect. That's its original height. It now stands 314 ft tall, due to the removal of some antennae of some sort in the last decade.
  24. Those people that are employees, I encourage you to confiscate those glasses, they are park property, and it can be considered theft. Also, it helps with maintaining that ride.
  25. Employees are considered Park Guests when they are off clock.
