Cincinnati? Here in Cincy, everything is like the butterfly effect. There can be a wreck at 71s in Erlanger, and the traffic will back up on Interstate 471. Add a light mist or dusty snow and forget it. People drive like old grannies on a dry sunny day, but like the Indy pace car as soon as it snows a few inches. Got to love it!

Well, close.....Bavaria has middle age structures, but Oktoberfest happened for the first time in 1810. I like the idea of merging the two areas, kind of like Oktoberfest and the Dark Forest as a suburb section. However....Banshees are Irish.... Edit: In Germany, the Banshee is called the "Washer Woman"

Cedar Fair's Future in Dark Rides

The Tomb Raider building is kind of small for a coaster...but an extension could be added to accommodate a rollercoaster type ride. I like that idea. -

Hmmm...seems very cost effective and fun too! I wonder if KI could see a "mountain" in the future? -

No, the animatronics don't eat the tourists.....but they do have seizures. Or they lay down and go to sleep....

I think potential profits also played into the decision too. Considering that St Louis would have most likely been a seasonal park, as well as Florida was most likely an unregulated territory at the time too.

D Confessions 2 reminded me of a true story... I took my nieces to Disneyworld in 1998. We decided to take a bus from MGM to the Contemporary Resort and to take a short ride on the monorail....from the Contemporary Resort to the Magic Kingdom....well, (for those not familiar, we unfortunately were not and found out the hard way.....) the monorail leaves the Contemporary Resort and goes the opposite way. LOL We took the journey to from the Contemporary Resort to Ticketing and Transportation to the Polynesian Resort to the Grand Floridian to the Magic Kingdom...each time the door opened we heard..." Please stand clear of the doors...por favor, manténgase alejado de la puerta" We heard this at least 5 times on our journey. After we departed the monorail and we were skipping down the ramp to the Magic Kingdom...my 7 year old niece blurted out at the top of her voice...." Please stand clear of the doors...por favor, manténgase alejado de la puerta" Who needs Rosetta Stone when they have Disneyworld....LMAO!!!

Wow, great pictures!!! -
If it were in a "cave" under the loading platform protected fron the weather, it would fit in rather nicely!!!

Yes....magic mushrooms! Kings Island could benefit from a display similar to that.....Festhouse Clock maybe?

They take seats off to test them for stress and replace worn parts in the off season. You might even catch Drop Towers seats being removed too.

Looks like more supports have arrived....way off in the yonder fields.

It's actually Stunt Grill during the summer months. In my opinion, it will probably see a lot of business next year with the opening of Banshee.

Maybe they are going to spruce up the special effects on AE. It would be nice to see the lights under the track at the beginning along with the fog. and to hear that familiar train crossing warning again, as well as the fog in the valley and the moving arrows in the tunnel ( I think a couple still work). Oh...and the lights around the faux Stonehenge. Also the fog and volcano fire in the final tunnel. Maybe even the lighting on the final lift with all of the stone statues pounding their drums next season. Fingers crossed.
