  1. I prefer atmosphere like Claddagh Irish Pub at Newport on the Levee. The bar area is a traditional pub, and they have several "rooms". One is a bank-like room with another being a Celtic church. One winter we sat in the bar and listened to a Celtic band. Seems like there was a fireplace there too. It was so relaxing and was a great time.
  2. Sounds like a bar room brawl waiting to happen...particularly with an "obnoxious" staff mixed with a bunch of drunken pre-gamers. I don't especially trust "edgy" humor either.
  3. Please secure your loose articles. I've had the pleasure (?) of having a cell phone crashing within feet of me on two occasions. Once while sitting on the wall near Invertigo's entrance when the train scooped into the cobra roll on it's return trip (the phone hit within inches of the fence shattering the phone and spewing pieces into the crowd...incidentally no one was hurt.) The second time, while waiting for my turn on Delirium, on the final flyby, a cell phone slammed the metal platform with a tremendous bang. The riders instantly went quiet because it sounded as if the ride was coming apart. There was nothing but a spot of metallic gray IPod left on the platform after the phone was destroyed. No one was hurt, but one rider was shaken up enough to create a "medical cleanup" in the seat of seat 22. The first dive loop of Banshee is where? Right over the midway...I'm certain this is why they prefer no loose items. Any guess to where lockers might pop up? I'm guessing there will be lockers somewhere near the restrooms....or somewhere near the On Location gift shop.
  4. Looks like they are working close to the ground...It looks like the pullout of the final loop is being placed right now. (1:28)

  6. The crowds were too big, so I didn't go...I probably wouldn't have gotten a job anyways.
  7. Disney plays Disney made soundtracks that are theme approprate...I dont think I've ever heard mainstream licensed music at DW or DL.I could be wrong, though...
  8. Why not a steel framed wooden tracked coaster....less chance for water damage and just as fun as a totally wooden coaster...
  9. Why not install a chute the chutes on the western end of Lake Como. OR bring back the train ride through the western woods.

  11. The pretzel is threaded!!!! Yay!!!! Go Clifford Jr.!
  12. I'm predicting that, some day in the future, Banshee will be the prettiest baby pink and powder blue coaster you've ever seen!
  13. Or a Yule Brenner shoot out with one lucky volunteer. (reference to West World movie....don't get your Underoos in a bunch)
  14. ^^ I wonder why KI and CF stopped? Different wheel types perhaps? Seems like it would reduce some wear and tear on the trains and the tracks, but I could be wrong....
  15. 1. Yes 2. Yes 3. Every October.
  16. Wow...great addition!...Looks like a teeny tiny Mondial, Top Scan.
  17. One more piece and they will be threading the pretzel!
  18. Looks like the bottom of the pullout after the batwing has been installed! Yay! They are flying like a Bat right now....
  19. Woo Hoo! Little Clifford is on the move today! Might just finish a loop......or two....
  20. And under the queue entry bridge....kind of Pepe Le Pew-ish...oops wrong corporate entity...LOL
  21. One thing I noticed in the Ecorazzi article.....Heart canceled their concert with 2000 petition signatures. That is a drop in the bucket of potential concert goers....Hmmmm is there a petition to petition Heart for their lack of concern for their fans? Let's start one. Unfortunately, when these rubes start showing their true politics, I sign off on them....in fact I think I signed off on Heart back in the late 80's. Truthfully they can hang with the Dixie Chicks as far as I'm concerned.
  22. Strangely enough, I wouldn't have wasted my money to see any of the musicians that were in the concert series anyway. Based on the list, I would imagine that most of them signed up possibly knowing there would be a protest coming where they could back out of to show support, or just to prove a point. Plus quite a few musicians are activists, who like stirring the crap. Plus, I'm wagering that most of the "petition" signers had no intention of going to the park either....just more crap stirring. http://www.ecorazzi.com/2013/12/08/seaworld-has-no-heart-band-cancels-park-performance/ Be sure to read the replies in the article.
  23. You did a wonderful (awesome ) job and besides.....who else here can say they got to see Banshee in it's current state and interview Don?
  24. Now I'm excited for KD.....I'm willing to bet that tonight's announcement is a bigger announcement than all of the others so far, with Christmas Eve being the Pièce de résistance....maybe even a pre-announcement for a Christmas Day gift.
