When the attraction first opened, the first weekend, the lines went beyond The Beast into Rivertown and remained long just about all summer. After eventually giving in and waiting 5 hours to ride....I got off the attraction with a splitting headache and left for the day. I like the lap restraint, but would much rather have a version like Blue Fire's over-the-head lap restraint. I like to be able to stretch my legs if I can, while riding coasters. Can you say..."CRAMPS"... I can, especially while riding FOF and IJST.

True, If I'm not mistaken, the "No post or Dangling Earrings" sign is still there.

The originals were a head-bangers ball for sure. Love the ride, it is still intense even though the show-building is kind of a dusty mess now. I loved the original video with the Outer Limits theme. Just curious, but I remember when you would be waiting on the ramp to go into the building, there was a flashing red warning light at the door....was there an original purpose for this light?...maybe as an indicator for an operator to open the door to allow visitors to Fort Cooper to enter? Kind of a like a part of the show that was never fully realized? I always envisioned that the door was to remain closed as the group inside would view the show and ride the ride, then a new group would fill the waiting room. Kind of "pre-show-esque"

The trains on Blue Fire sit higher and are wider than FOFs cars....There would have to be lots of testing by Mack, and most likely some entry/exit platform and seating height modification...but I wouldn't say it couldn't be done. Here are cars on Flight of Fear's clone Poltergeist roller.

I'd like to see a total redesign of the FOF cars to something similar to this:

The new webcam angle is on the same page as the other webcams on the Kings Island website here: https://www.visitkingsisland.com/online-fun/webcams ....On another note.... Here are some pictures of today's construction of Banshee's second vertical loop: (Pictures Courtesy of Kings Island) For some perspective....look below the vertical loop and slightly to the left....that little orange/red strip is a construction worker... WOW THIS THING IS HUGE!!!
-
In addition, maybe QR codes throughout the park to coincide with the map for park history or entertainment videos of past attractions that were located near the code.
-
Wow....something like this would fit perfectly on the old Flight Commander platform near a certain dinosaur exhibit at Kings Island.... Edit: Darn beaten to the punch again...LOL

I loved the parks original map books. It made it easier to tell where you were and where rides and attractions were located. Never cared for the cartoony type maps.

Shhh...Let me tell you a little story about a man named shhh! shhh! even before you start. That was a pre-emptive shh! Don't know why, but reminded me of this... http://youtu.be/y6KQPUrcb-k

Yep its down.

Is the webcam screen frozen? Seems like it has been at a standstill for hours now. Could be an illusion...I can't tell. edit: nevermind....I think it's moving now....
-
Will it be playing Banshee Screams Or Taylor Swifts "I knew you were trouble when you walked in"? A Banshee scream and Taylor Swift are pretty much interchangeable.
-
Just remember the queue for Diamond Back will be renamed to Banshee overflow in 2014....

I could see that..." It goes woosh....and and and then zoom...and then woah...then woosh again then .....oh oh oh woosh...."
-
^^ maybe today. Looks like one more support and two more pieces of track and that loopy thing or whatever it's called ( ) will be completed....
-
Hehe....have you looked at Disney or Universal or Sea world....$80 is a bargain compare to those tourist traps....
-
Conversation on tower: JQ Public: "Wow look at that pretzel loop!" Coaster enthusiast: "It's called a Batwing." JQ Public: "Really.....whatever." LOL
-
CJ is lifting the support for the second loop of the pretzel.....Yay!!!! (9:07)

That's a tough decision. Both parks are equally beautiful and fun in their own ways. BGW has an incredibly fun Halloween event...but then again, so does BGT. I still haven't been to either Christmas Town events, but they look awesome too. BGW is the most beautiful of both parks and BGT has the bonus of a zoo. Both parks have an exciting lineup of rides too. I don't think I've been to either park when it was uncomfortably crowded. Can't wait to get BGW....or BGT for that matter.

They had that back in the Paramount years. Apparently it didn't sell too well. Interesting....didn't realize that. I must have discounted that as a perk...heck I never use the lockers anyways, since a good walk to the car to drop off "stuff" works for me.

Wonder if a "seasons pass" for lockers would work, or a tier within the pass line somewhere between gold and platinum.
