  1. So a good reason why they should announce it is so that coaster enthusiasts can chain themselves to the ride and decrease season pass sales?
  2. I know, I was using the term pulling teeth, not as a reference to that, disturbing image.
  3. Believe me...I HAVE tried to enlighten my nephews on The Peanuts...to no avail...i'm beginning to think that this is what it would take: No offense, but are you kidding? You think it takes pulling teeth to get little kids to watch a cartoon? -Jackson, this is getting extremely ridiculous......
  4. I was thinking of things like this: It would be smart of Kings Island to, without any official announcements or last rides, just quietly and quickly remove the ride over the offseason. Remove all trace of it, and hope to recover your season pass sales next year.
  5. Kudos to anyone who would have called that! So with Great America getting Little Dipper and possibly Chang? Looks like Chicago is gonna be a happy city next year!
  6. Less supports = Less steel. Less Steel = Less cost. Less Cost = More nickels saved.
  7. Check out the front of the station track. There's a small wooden board holding it up. I assume it's common to have temporary supports, especially with rides like Timmy with minimalist supporting.
  8. Everyone's got a Hu-Hu-HUNGRY HEART! Give it up for the lady everyone!

  9. And I believe Wicked Twister is the only inverted coaster over 200 feet right now.
  10. http://www.aceonline.org/fliers/HoliWoodNights10.pdf Well it looks like the schedule has been released for Holiwood Nights. It's looking really, really attractive. 3 hour ERT on all three woodies for both nights, free food, walkbacks, and ERT on Wildabeast? Jackson, who is currently making plans to go with Trooper Mom and Joe....
  11. I wish I would quit hearing people complain about not knowing! Give me one good reason why they should announce it before April, if at all.
  12. Who's They and why are they going to tear down all my roller coasters?
  13. Umm.... Big Hill Steep Drop Count: 2. Big Hill Steep Drop Count: 8. Intimidator doesn't just look better to me visually and ride experience wise, but it's also gonna have better capacity and much more up time.
  14. Looks like they have almost everything until the midcorse done.
  15. It'd be the same as the "Outer Limits" POV. You won't be able to see a thing.
  16. I'd imagine them making POVs on all the major coasters. Here's the official blog update from November 18.
  17. And now we have a Millennium Force Reverse POV. It just gets better and better!
  18. Amazing POVs. The reverse of Top Thrill Dragster is awesome, and the sound is so clear I was able to get an mp3 of the "Arms Down" audio. By the way: There are POV's of Kings Island, and other park's, coasters on Cedar Fair's official Youtube site: http://www.youtube.com/user/CedarFair2009
  19. Look at it this way: If your kids don't know who Snoopy is (Which last time I checked was 90 Days and $20,000) then they will now.
  20. It's a Vekoma 207 Junior Skater. A.L.A. Roller Skater at Six Flags Kentucky Kingdom.
  21. Not a good idea to donate it, considering it has been proven time and time again to be sub par wood.
  22. Translation: "We don't care. We want money. Goodbye."
