So, part of the ride collapses in construction. The Ride opens late. PKI Sues the designer. It gets a rep for being horribly rough. It is inspected by the ODA 6 times. It breaks in 2006, sending 27 people to the hospital. Was the 2006 incident the straw that broke the camel's back? No. The ride's loop is removed. New Trains are added. How about the injury of the lady in May 2009? Nope. A Trial on the 2006 incident, resulting in thousands of dollars lost for the park? How about another one? Honestly, you can love or hate the ride as much as you want, but you've got to realize there's a point in which enough is enough!!!!

It does! But Im not complaining, more Diamondback in this world is hardly a bad thing!

Is that where the company that counts their flags came up with the idea of saying "And have a Six Flags day here at Kentucky Kingdom"

I've had one trimless ride on Magnum. While they're something to treasure, I'm Kinda Glad they're there! Jackson, who's vision faded, turned grey, and lost his peripherals, for once in his life, all thanks to the pinch brakes being off. Thanks Maggie!

On the second, third, fifth, and sixth drops, my body experiences loads of airtime. But on the first drop, my body sits there while my stomach flies into my throat. This is the feeling that I adore, and I only feel it on the first drop.

That's a normal look on The Beast, for it was The Park's idea to put the on ride photo right after a set of trims!

From what I can assess of this situation, this is simply Cedar Point clearing room for 2011, and the start of Cedar Fair's ride rotation program, something I was hoping they would avoid....

Because Power Tower SHOOTS you down from my experience. And then it stops you early to bounce you a few times. With that, I place it higher then Drop Tower at Kings Island, but only just. I'd rather ride Space Shot more then Turbo Drop, anyhow. Too bad I never got to ride this at Cedar Point. With it going to KBF I doubt that I will be able to get on it for quite a while, and who knows how long it will last over there!

Because as far as the future of Son of Beast, nothing new has been said. Does this trial mean it will be removed? No. Does this even play a factor in the future of the ride? Not necessarily, but I would imagine so. It's for the park to decide, and they said they would do so in the O__S_____. You can wait two weeks can't ya?

....Give another park a new ride while you make room for yours.

Huh. So Cedar Point tries to sell it for years, doesn't, so instead they just move it to another one of their parks? All this says to me is that Cedar Point is setting up an expansion in that area in 2011.

Who are we to decide whether she's faking or not? How many people on here are judges, or lawyers? Let the courts decide what's what. That's their jobs.

As sad as it is to say, The Vortex rumor is still going strong. I had an argument about it with a few kids on the bus about it, they insist that beyond the shadow of a doubt that it IS going to be removed next year, despite me telling them that that rumor has been going around since before you were toilet trained. And it STILL hasn't sunk an inch.

Mid 40's and rain? I don't buy it.

Here's a picture I took of the area: Just a little past the tunnel the queue moves to the "Plaza" area, then you are routed back to the normal entrance for the ride.

If the ride has malfunctioned like that without being able to prevent it, and has the ability to do it again, than this ride should not be operating until it is possible to fix it.
