I don't like heights either, but if you're not scared, it's not fun.... I love the adreneline rush that comes with walking away from something that scares the life out of me (i.e. Drop Tower)!!! The vast majority of people don't "get it" when it comes to things like that.

I'm a Buckeye fan, but for a little over a year, I have new respect for Michigan. I must say that The Buckeyes have never entertained me more than the Team Up North did in their game againt Appalacian State!!! Just kidding...a little My wife, when she was alive, knew that I liked Ohio State and Dale Earnhardt and thought that I was a member of the two most obnoxious fan bases on the planet .

Guilty..LOL!!! You might be a KI addict if you meet a woman for the first time and ask her if she likes KI before you ask her name..... No wonder I'm still single....LOL!!!!!

I come from a German family. If I worked there and wore the pants and showed them proper respect, then ate a meal of pork and saurkraut while drinking a beer after I got done working, I would bet my bottom dollar that they would not show the respect for my German heritage that I showed them....

I also hate it when reporters ask stupid questions or write incorrectly. For example tonight Greta Van Susteren did a story on voting in Ohio. Talking about college students voting, she interviewed a reporter from the Columbus Dispatch. He told her that Columbus was in Franklin County and she asked, "So, is there a university in Franklin County?" She also asked a detective a couple of years ago "Is this girl really missing or do we just not know where she is?" It drives me nuts.

Well, there were a few more, but I limited it to the ones I recognized on here. You all were a lot of fun. We will be back this Friday, then at CP on Saturday and Sunday. !

He chased my kids Friday night. So did the Green Goblin and the guy hanging around outside the Cemetary.... They loved it.

I have never ridden El Toro, but we will make the trip to New Jersey once my kids reach 54 inches.... They have been talking about it for two years now... But I will chime in with my opinion: I love both The Voyage and The Raven. Both are fast, have great G forces, and are flat out fun.

The rider... LOL In Ohio it has to be a "motor" vehicle, which doesn't include horses, but does include things like riding lawn mowers, golf carts, and, yes, bicycles .

There's case law in Ohio that says spitting on someone is not assault. And riding a horse while intoxicated is not DUI... (Our courts apparently have had a lot of time on their hands) Yes, I'm in a position that requires me to know those types of things . But seriously, I would like to see the city council in Mason pass an ordinance against line jumping, thus making it a criminal offense.

On Friday night, the kids and I went straight to The Beast when the park opened. We were the only people in the station. Very cool. Then two more people came in and there were 5 people on our train. Then we had a train to ourselves on BLSC. On The Beast, I was thinking of the early years when all of the switchbacks were full and the line stretched almost to the train and how time changes things, in this case, for the better.

I always thought it would be funny if everyone in line spit on the line jumpers as they tried to make their way to the front to join their friends.

Sounds like you had a better day than I did. My computer crashed (This is my first post on the new one) and my car was broken into last night. I have to go into work tomorrow and tell them that my work cell phone was stolen. And that it was my own fault because I accidentally left the passenger side window down.

Terror comes into play when I'm hanging on Drop Tower.. but I run back for more every time. I can not wait to go Saturday and do my Drop Tower marathon. I had a friend bet me that I couldn't ride it 10 times in a row. He's about to lose. Yep!!! I always wonder what I'm doing up there (profanities excluded from those thoughts ) but when I get to the bottom< I want to do it again. But Saturday is The Haunt. The lines may make 10 rides impossible

You sound like me. My hands will be in the air on my first ride too. After all, I can't appear weak in front of my children, who did their first ride on MF this year without holding on......

The best one from last weekend was a woman looking at the Diamondback model and information and saying "Wow! This is going to set a lot of world records!" Sorry, I listen, but I didn't hear anything better this week.

KI is about fun. Adrenaline for me only comes into play when I'm hanging on Drop Tower and Invertigo. Or when my children misbehave....LOL!!!

Perfect weather and walk on rides...... What more needs to be said? I was there Friday night too and, IMO, one of the best two nights of the year!!!

I agree with Interpreter on all counts. In addition, I would like to see security cameras to prevent line jumping and unruly behavior in the lines.

Based upon her perception of the gates and rails in the station, that would appear to be true....LOL!!!

Surprizingly, no.... LOL!! She hadn't been to the park in several years and was confused about the extra gates as she was trying to sit in the back car. Because of the light crowds there wasn't a train in the station at the tim but once one pulled in she saw that the new trainds are shorter.... And, I would never refer to an underage park employee as an "attractive woman", at my age, I would say "cute little girl"...LOL!!!

I have adored Fairly Odd Coaster since I first rode it in 1972 when I was 3 years old!!! The Racer in its original form, Scooby Doo (as FOC was known in those days) and, of course Bavarian Beetle were great thrills for a little kid growing up in the 70s. Especially since our family didn't have a lot of money and my sister and I collected Top Value stamps to get tickets for one or two visits a year. I remember going to the grocery store with my parents and looking for those stamps that people had dropped or thrown away while our parents shopped. All so we could paste them in the books and trade them in for KI tickets.

The weather wasn't hot, which meant that SoB was fine last night. And an attractive woman spoke to me in line (a rare event)... LOL!!!!

I have to work 3-11 tomorrow. I will be there next Saturday for sure. Me too. And without kids .
