Finding KIC members?
I'm just that good! Actually, I could swear I recognized you from somewhere before, but who knows. You just had a sign over your head with an arrow that said "KIC Member here." Glad to meet you!

Ride Warriors Photo Contest
Well, shucks! I was hoping to enter my prized photo of The Beast from KIC day last year. Now my challenge is before me. I must come up with a better one. Oh, dear. If you haven't seen it: http://img223.imageshack.us/img223/5467/kicday083small.jpg

The Case of the missing Diamondback Model
Yep! I'll be there all three days, though perhaps with much less hair than I have now.

The Case of the missing Diamondback Model
Nice photos, Nick. The one of the Dip-n-dots could have been omitted and I wouldn't have cared. My favorite was the photo of the reflection of the TV. That was really good. I'm glad you also did the same as I and took a ton of pictures of Racie. I was on the very first blue train on this particular day. I'm surprised I didn't see you at some point.

Hand stamps
I get irritated with where they insist on stamping me. No matter which hand or which side I hold up, it's never right. I wish they would just stamp the forearm of my left hand all the time with no arguement. That would be an improvement, and less annoying than the blotch they always put on the back of my hand. Oh, how I hate that. As long as there is a stamp, it ought to be sufficient.

Best Coasters to Marathon
Beast. My record is 13 in a row. Racer is second best with 9 in a row. Flyer, who also hates the "no re-ride" policy at Son of Beast.

How busy will this weekend be
Less people to wait behind! Yay! Actually, I'll be taking a few rides on FOF, and then I hope to camp out on Racer.

KI May 3, 2009
It was nice to finally meet you. I enjoyed talking with you and Kat until the wee hours of the morning, but I paid for it Monday, as, I'm sure, did you. Grabbing random KIC members is quickly becoming a tradition. People ask me why I can stand to go alone to an amusement park, and that's exactly why. There's always someone there to aggrava...I mean ride with.

Join Us For Ride Warriors Coaster Weekend!
Would it take 946 hours to find??? Flyer, who couldn't resist.

friday the first of may
This is especially true of SoB. I'm sure you know that, judging by your user name. He gets very crabby when he's thirsty.

Friday May 1st
To quote Charlie Brown, "don't you know sarcasm when you hear it?"

Friday May 1st
Oh, no. It's still under construction. They have about half the lift hill done. Here we go again! Now for my real post. It was great to meet all of you that I met yesterday, and I'm sure I'll see you again!

Camden Park Opens Saturday
I'm glad to hear something positive about Camden Park after hearing so many negatives. I'm planning to go this year, so I'll keep a completely open mind, as I always do at a new park. Really.

Eiffel Tower Lighting
You must not have been at any of those parks for very long. I noticed something that seemed different about Eiffel Tower this evening. It appeared to have really brightly powered spotlights around the top pointed toward the back of the park, which kind of annoyed me on the last Beast night ride. They also completely screwed up the color change, so I hope this is not permanent, but rather a fluke.

friday the first of may
Hey, Kitten! If you have forgotten my user name already, I'll....okay, forgive you this time. I really enjoyed hanging out with you all too! I'm glad you had fun, and our Invertigo ride was a blast! That was my first trip on Invertigo for the season. Son of Beast was not going to kill you, by the way. He was just showing off for you! I will say this, both of my rides on SoB today were better than the one I had last Sunday. Last Sunday, he was all dried out and in the hot sun. He gets thirsty on days like that. Best time to visit SoB - Halloween Haunt after a rain shower.

Six Flags Fiesta Texas
No...I see where the mid-course would go, and without one! Yay, it's like Shivering Timbers. A mid-courseless mid-course. The best kind! Now I'm excited. That looks like one tangled mess of track...when can I go?
-
Six Flags Fiesta Texas
I think that's the best way to build a coaster. I'll take the lower capacity. Maybe I'll rethink my plans to include one or both of those parks.
-
Six Flags Fiesta Texas
Huh?! Flyer, whose attention has been raised and whose trips are now being replanned.
-
Witch's Cauldrons
Another of many details that have gone by the wayside in favor of more obvious things. It's in detail heaven playing with the red, white, and blue color scheme on Racer, The Beast's paw prints, Flight of Fear's own sign, and Flight Deck's paint.

2009 Goals
Your chances of getting a backward ride on Diamondback are about as good as me getting a trimless ride on The Beast. Odds - squat!
-
Flight of fear
Due to almost all of the forces being down towards the floor of the car, you could easily ride Flight Deck with your hand up with absolutely no restraint and have no danger of falling out. I share your opinion that the OTSRs are nonsense there. A simple lap bar...or even just a seatbelt, would suffice if you have to have a restraint.
-
Flight of fear
Are you sure it has seatbelts? I don't remember them at Spring Fling...but I could be wrong.
-
What to do with Extra Child
I don't have a clue about those two, but I know that Beast and Vortex have "Kiddie Corrals" in the station, and they are still used.

Backyard BBQ: Menu Change
Two thoughts: 1. Yuck 2. I agree. There are several people I know that can't have sugar or caffine. What else can they do? Water is about it. Is that your situation too, or do you just like those, and if so, back to #1.

Gold Pass Pizza Deal
Thanks! I was wondering about that one. Spring is post? Come on Avatar! I think that would be pre-season or preview weekends. Flyer, who's picky about things like that.
