  1. I'd rather just enter the park through the old season passholders entrance and not have to mess with nonpassholders at all.
  2. Why not sign the officially unofficial official roster?
  3. Complete overcast in the 50's with no rain is preferable for me. Cedar Fair's rain policy sucks.
  4. According to the Diamondback media kit, the hourly capacity of Diamondback will be 1,620 riders. If they start right at 9:00, and consistently work at this rate, that leaves the general public until around 3:30 to get through the line and ride. I think they're safe!
  5. Even my toes are crossed, but I know better. I just hope its reasonable weather, but not great weather.
  6. I'm sure you won't have too hard of a time convincing some people to re-ride Diamondback. The hard part will be convincing some to re-wait in the line.
  7. Exactly. That doesn't make any sense to me either, and would lead to a lot of ticked gold/platinum passholders, who should not be ticked in this economy.
  8. Better too large than too small. Flyer, who buys 2x or 3x, when he can fit into a large.
  9. Well, in point, how many mines are there in the Ohio River valley?
  10. Nice find. Suddenly, after looking at their website, I definitly want to go. I see three wooden coasters to go see if they're trimmed. Sounds like fun.
  11. But, as all statements of this style are, it is a matter of opinion. I'd rather go to the store that sells K's.
  12. That was a really fun read. I also saved it, along with who wrote it of course. Judging from cases similar, it is also treatable with the venom of other similar Beasts. It is with much regret that I must inform you that I have many, many similar infections. I'm glad they don't leave scars! (usually)
  13. P??? What is this P????? Does not compute!
  14. With just the KI Central people it won't be a walk-on day. Oh, it's going to be crowded. Brace yourself!
  15. I don't appear to have pictures of it, but it's the small row of metal detectors that are just to the left of the main row of them. It's kind of in the middle of the long row of windows. I want to say it's between lost and found and the ticket windows, but it's a bit...I can't believe I have to say this...blurry which windows are what.
  16. You might try your local Meijer and see. They usually have them too. Higher standards, higher prices, but good sales - should be their slogan.
  17. And best yet, is that with many only proclaiming to ride Diamondback once or twice Opening Day, I'm hoping to take the early lead for April...Tiggy takes the center square! Good luck with that! Enjoy waiting in line all day. It's less people I have to wait behind at The Beast.
  18. I'm hoping to get in some Beast, Racer, SOB, and Vortex rides during that time. Maybe even a FOF ride, while everyone is side-coaster-tracked.
  19. Someone mention flying through the mid-course???? That's my favorite activity at Kings Island! Too bad it happens so rarely. When it does, the rest of the ride is amazing, though I wish they had placed a really good airhill in place of the loop instead of the lame almost straight piece.
  20. You said it! I also hope there are no trims or brakes in the park on the 18th. Flyer, who knows better.
  21. I would suspect so, as that's almost always the case on any coaster. I guess that's why Flyer rides there.
  22. 1) Avatar 2) TG93 3) VortexJunkie 4) Diamondback FOF 5) Goofywdw 6) Ki4life08 7) Beast1979 8) dare-to-fly 9) The Beast Rider
  23. Would anyone else care to join me in saying that there was very little downtime on Son of Beast last season? I can't help but notice that SoB's reliability is very good as of late. (Knock on wood) The clear choice of the park was the best choice as far as I'm concerned. I've enjoyed my rides without the loop much more than the rides I had with the loop.
