Kings island website is not IPHONE friendly! HELP
dare-to-fly replied to Atomheartmother616's topic in Kings Island
That must have helped you, so I'm glad to do what I can. Forgive me for being a smarty earlier, but it's hard to resist when given the opportunity. Edit: Dag nabbit, Dane...now I look bad again! -
Kings island website is not IPHONE friendly! HELP
dare-to-fly replied to Atomheartmother616's topic in Kings Island
Tee hee! I'm glad you liked my suggestion. They are open from 10-10 on Sat. Apr. 18, 5-10 on Apr. 24, 10-10 on Apr. 25, 10-8 on Apr. 26, and them up through mid-May, they are open 10-10 on Fri. and Sat. and 10-8 on Sundays. Starting on the 24th, they are open 10-8 through the week and 10-10 on Fri-Sun. By then, you'll probably have been at KI and received an operating calendar. I hope that helps more than my first post. Flyer, who ought to quit while he's ahead sometimes. -

Sure there is another alternative. Use regular internet. Flyer, who had to point that out. -

April 18th can't come fast enough. All of this speculation is driving me insane. I'm ready to see, feel, and touch to actually know for certain exactly how things are going to operate! -
The Crypt so much potential. So little time...

Walk-ons are becoming easier and easier on light days. I won't wait long for it either! -
Another Good Reason To Process Your Pass Early

9:00 is 9:00. Not 8:30, not 10:15, but 9. 99999999999999999 Flyer, who enjoyed this post a bit too much! -
Another Good Reason To Process Your Pass Early
dare-to-fly replied to BoddaH1994's topic in Kings Island
A member of another forum was told when he called the park that season passes must be processed to enter and vouchers are not accepted. That's all I know, so I'd call before you get there and have issues. Much you would think would be confirmed, but is not. Would you rather be told that someone is uncertain or have a straight, but very wrong, answer? You are more than capable of calling the park if you need to know the exact plan and the number to call has been posted many times, and so have the responses of people that have. Now, please excuse me for my very snappy response, but sometimes there aren't simple answers or clear cut lines. All evidence points to: Auction winners - prior to ERT at 9:00. When? It has NOT been announced to the public that I'm aware of. 8:30-Parking lot opens 9:00-ERT for Gold/Platinum Passholders. 10:00-park opens to general public. There is the timeline that I have seen and heard from all sources, and seems to be consistent. In that knowledge, when you get there is up to you! -
Oh, well in that case, we'll forgive you. The phrase I've been using is the "officially unofficial official roster." It is for official purposes, unofficial because it's not an event that requires registration; however, it's official for KICentral people because they are seeing who is planning to attend. Therefore making it an officially unofficial official roster. Flyer, who is that big of a dipstick.
-
Hmmmmm....you have approximately my plan. Mine is the same until you talk about after your ride. At that point - The Beast is my hangout for the rest of ERT!

It seems to be the plan, but plans are always subject to change without notice. Flyer, who has learned to go with the flow. -
Sign the officially unofficial official roster. I'm with you on that one. You have to take the weather forecasts with a grain of salt at this point. I'm still hoping for clouds and 50 with no rain. Why? That will keep the crowds and the rides open. If it rains - "_______ is temporarily suspending operation at this time due to weather conditions." (Waits until pavement is dry) "Shortly we will re-open the ride, but with only one train." (Immediate rain storm starts here)

Diamondback Construction Thread (Updated 3-19-09)

I haven't seen those but thanks for saying so! They'l probably be used to illuminate the supports at night, which will look really cool! probably like on silver bullet at Knott's (see below) I hope it does a good job showing off the water spray, and that there are no spotlights past The Crypt. That would be too high of a potential for interfering with night rides on not only Diamondback, but Beast as well. -
Only how it's anticipated. I hope for no anticipointment.
-
I've actually done that! At Stricker's Grove, they close the line for the Tornado early and just let a few in at a time so that the last train goes out right at closing. My practice is to stay at the end of the line after the appearance of the security guard. I also have done the same thing at The Beast for the last train of the night. Flyer, who enjoys being on the last train.

That's dedication. You must have been desperate for the new experience. Flyer, who didn't ride Firehawk until July of '07.

To be one of the first riders on Diamondback. Have your 2 cents back! Flyer, who will attend on 4/18 and 4/24 + 4/26. -
Nope - read it - forgot it. Then I read your post, which didn't mention going to Germany from Knoebels, and I got confused when you ran the two together. OOPS! Flyer, enlightened.

Why? Go toward Delirium and double back toward International Street on the pathway past the Festhaus. You'll come out in the middle of International Street and be able to walk up toward the Eiffel Tower and go toward Diamondback with very little time spent going out of the way. Flyer, who made several trips around through Coney Mall on a Beast walkback last year. -
What does Germany have to do with Flying Turns? Knoebels is in Pennsylvania. Did I miss something? Flyer, confused.
