Decent weather (for December standards) certainly helps. Haven't had a real bad snow storm yet.
-
^That doesn't quite work as well on Racer as it does on Beast, at least any middle seat behind 1-2, at least going by my experiences. I wish it had a better ride in the back given its an out and back coaster with all those hills.
-
So what's the procedure for re-opening coaster inspections in terms of snow removal? That's over 3,000 ft of track to shovel off (sans the Shed, station, and tunnel). Also, I wonder how ice affects the brakes...

EPCOT is getting a coaster

^The magnets I'm referring to are for the launch motors. LIM's and LSM's are magnets, and neither B&M or Vekoma have delved into other means of launch mechanisms yet. -
I have questions regarding how SIX's Flash Pass works. Do I have to buy a different pass per ride or do I get a pass and just reserve at any ride I want through the day? Any other explanation in how it differs from Fast Lane would also be appreciated. I'm contemplating using one for NJFTP, but its not set in stone since I plan to visit NJFTP during the middle of the week for this trip.

Did any of the supposed brass quartets/quintets appear and how did they sound?

Especially scaling Mt Thunderbird. -
Vortex also has a lower height restriction than Dominator, which widen's Vortex's demographic.
-
I have to go with Invertigo. Banshee essentially one-ups it in every way sans the shuttle coaster part, but that's hardly an issue with Banshee being far superior. Kinda a similar situation to how KI tore down Demon after Vortex went up. Backlot would be a close second, but its a tamer coaster (at least as far as launch coasters go) in the line up which is always welcome. Also, one vote is in violation of the 11th Commandment I see....

^Yes, the one ride that's one of the worst 3 or 4 rides in terms of downtime at the park. -
So with another season essentially over, I'd like to pose a question. For those who worked at the park, is it everything you thought it would be? Anything about it you didn't expect? Will you be returning next season or during Winterfest?
-
The parking lot is just one of those areas where the park is just gonna have to suck it up. I'm sure there are other such infrastructure projects they do that don't yield much ROI. I mean, there are parts where its nearly gravel.
-
And the park can't do both together because....? I mean, the park has the resources of Cedar Fair at its disposal, it shouldn't be hard for the park to accomplish both. I don't buy the argument that a park that can afford $20 million coasters is afraid of expenses when it comes to repaving a parking lot.

^So every thread would turn into a Bat thread?
-
It will also drive the costs way up to build the supports to build tall elements needed for a giga on that type of terrain and clear that all. It'd be more practical and cheaper to build behind Banshee for a giga. If it was another type of coaster like a Maverick type ride or a custom RMC, sure, but this thread is about a potential giga.

^The hill surrounding KI is much, much steeper and taller with extremely dense woods. Also, KI can't build within a certain distance of the Little Miami River.
-
Uh...that layout is a mirrored Fury 325.... It wouldn't work anyway to build that far in that direction because the hill drops off towards the Little Miami River a lot by the point it got out that far. If you're going to put up possible layouts, remember that along KI's eastern and southern edges, its on top of a very big hill.
-
Well, those aren't quite accurate what with Winterfest approaching. They are true for the other 90% of the park though.

I think we can all agree that it's gonna be a tad brisk this weekend.
