So I have been pretty critical of the food service in the past, but tonight I have to give credit where credit is due. The food service so far this season is really good for this time of year. Props to the food department for the improvements.

From my perspective, the taller water jets reflected more of the light and that difference alone was an improvement. I also noticed what lights are there now are more in sync with the Eiffel Tower lights. Also, the new trees along International Street are starting to really pop now that they're getting their leaves.

^I think every single coaster piece at the plant right now is going to Hershey, PA.
-
Is there just track there or are there any supports, too?
-
Other than the wide dive coaster track, the track shape between models is nearly identical. Its near impossible to tell them apart with no labels otherwise unless you're really keen on, say, the differences in design lines on curvy track between the upright track and the inverted track.
-
Block sections as in block brakes which are what mid-course brake runs, final brakes, and station brakes have which have the sensors that keep the trains from going into occupied block sections and thus, preventing collisions. That's what I'd say those pieces are. You can see the studs on top that will hold the sensors. For example- Vortex has 5 block sections- the station, the lift, the mid-course brakes, the final brakes, and the brakes on the transfer track immediately before the station.

After looking online, HP already has footings poured in the ground, maybe even enough to go vertical mid-summer (I imagine they'll want to get a good early start on the coaster as they also have to build a new park entrance as well), so perhaps the plant is going to finish with the HP project before the KI project since KI doesn't even have footings dug out yet.
-
I'm really surprised they put the park on the label. They used to omit that.

I'm not convinced those grey pieces are fully painted. Even a grey would have a bit of a shine to it like you see on the brown pieces. Track thickness also isn't a good indicator. Most B&M's change thickness throughout their course (ex. DB's track thickness on the bottom of the first drop is huge compared to the track on the return hills). EDIT: Also important is the label. Assuming B&M hasn't changed up their labels, under Part No, the first 2 letters indicate type. The MC you see with the HP pieces stand for Mega Coaster, which is what B&M labels all their hypers and gigas (since B&M giga's are essentially scaled up hyper coasters). It any track shows up without MC, it isn't for HP or KI (assuming KI is getting a giga). For other labels, I know IC is for inverted, I think DM or DC is dive coaster (though that'd be more obvious in most cases since most dive coasters have wider track), I think either LC or SC is looping coaster/sitting coaster (which is likely floorless), FC is flying, and though I've never seen a label for a wing coaster, I imagine it'd be WC.

I'd probably settle on yellow with sky blue supports then, or some blue brighter than Invertigo.
-
^I'd go darker on the supports to prevent that kind of fading. Diamondback's red has stood up pretty well.
-
^I liked Medusa's green (prior to being Bizzaro'd) that was so bright it was into the yellow spectrum.
-
I feel between Vortex, Banshee and Invertigo that blue is already well covered. I'm starting to shift towards yellow track and either burgundy or magenta supports (see Raging Bull). I really want a good yellow in there somewhere. Since its in X-base, make it sci-fi sun themed.

Great Bear's got a really good roar, not only just it being loud, but because its in a valley, it echos a bit as well. All the NJFTP B&M's got solid roars as well. The quietest B&M's have to be at Dorney. Talon and Hydra are almost too quiet.
-
I also notice when I'm riding Mystic Timbers, I barely register Diamondback is there.
-
How loud are Leviathan and Fury 325?
-
^Dorney pulled it off pretty well slapping Steel Force next to Thunderhawk. I think aesthetically it'll be alright. That area of Dorney is probably my favorite section in the park. I'm not that bothered by it being close to Beast either. Its going to be a quieter B&M like Banshee and Diamondback and riding on Beast is pretty racketey in terms of noise on its own.

What's non-authentic about building a giga?
-
This is turning into possibly the most comprehensive decoding thread ever with all the cost analysis, topography maps, and who knows what else. CSI: KIC
-
On the whole spending debate- this is the same chain that built both Intimidator coasters in the same off-season, so it isn't that unlikely another CF park could still get something on the large side along with KI.
-
The only set I've ridden is the train at Hershey's Sidewinder, and even for a smaller coaster, it made a noticeable improvement. Never thought a Vekoma Boomerang could actually be enjoyable.
-
I just found the answer to whether or not the new comfortable Vekoma trains have been put on an Arrow. Meet Dreamworld's Hot Wheels SideWinder. https://rcdb.com/1415.htm http://www.parkchatlive.com.au/2015/12/dreamworld-opens-hot-wheels-roller-coaster-motorsports-precinct/hot-wheels-dreamworld/

One of the things about decoding is that everyone is going to show some sort of bias to dissecting things. Its not hard to rationalize a lot of things for this project. Like, I can still rationalize a wing coaster as a possibility as much as a giga (like, say, most of the clearing towards Flight of Fear is a X-Base expansion while a wing coaster only takes up more of the land towards Beast). Part of why I like decoding is to see how everyone can rationalize their guesses.
-
Hershey isn't above letting new track sit all season before they put it up, at least that's what they did with Skyrush. Plus they kinda already announced it so it isn't much a secret.
-
No way it's a wing coaster at this point IMO. The wing coaster in question would have to be seriously scaled up because they lose tons of momentum with all the drag they create. Also, most wing coasters are meant to be visual centerpieces. This clearing just juts out into the Ohio woods. All gigas that have been built are along the outer edges of their respective parks.
