So could anyone tell me, from experience, if Kings Island's blue ice cream is as good as the ones found at Holiday World?
-
And also, where can this delicacy be found?
-
Okay, this may seem like a really random topic to you all. But I have been going to Holiday World all my life, and every single time I go, I have to stop by Udderly Blue's Ice Cream and get myself some blue ice cream. I've heard that Kings Island also has Udderly Blue's Ice Cream?? Is this true? Because if it is, I HAVE to stop by on my trip this Tuesday to get some

But which Paris? Texas, France or Virginia? I'm pretty sure he meant Illinois.
-
Hmm, the coaster was going into Indiana you say? Interesting.

Remember last time that Holiday World started hinting so early in the season? Yeah, that was 7 years ago. Do you know what became of it? Voyage. Holiday World just recently flirted with the idea of a steel coaster to us enthusiasts. Maybe it was simply another elaborate way to peak our interest in the park. Maybe the decision was already made quite a time ago? Only time can tell. From what I can see, they really didn't spend a great deal of money on park additions this season. I thought this winter that possibly they were saving their budget for something next year. I thought it was silly thought and only an enthusiasts dream. But maybe I may have been right. But right now, I know one thing, this Holiday World junkie is excited.

Sorry if this is off-topic or not what your looking for, but if you want an amazing fireworks display on the 4th, please consider a trip to Holiday World. It is nothing short of breathtaking. And also, it is one of the very few times a year in which you can ride Voyage after dark. This is by far worth the trip in and of itself. And generally, the 4th is surprisingly a generally calm day to go! I'm tempted to guarantee you that if you get the chance to go to Holiday World on the 4th of July, you will not be disappointed.

I have been wondering myself, how many people have season passes to not only Kings Island, but any other parks as well. And for how many years have you gotten said passes? I myself, believe it or not, have never had a Kings Island pass. But for the pass two years, I have been a proud owner of a season pass at Holiday World. (:

Congrats Avatar, they couldn't have made a better choice! -
I'm a huge fan of wood coasters. I love the out of control feeling you have with a wood coaster, and the pure beauty of a massive wood structure is something that just can't be matched with steel. Call me strange, but I also love the slight roughness of wood coasters. I am also a fan of a good hyper/giga, simply because of the airtime it gives. My favorite coasters are: Voyage Son of Beast Raven Diamondback Legend As Will Koch once said, "Who needs steel when you have wood?"

I love the I-Street one! And I like how the WindSeeker cam shows you a great amount of the area. Props to Kings Island PR!

I do believe that they were $3 last year, I'm not certain though.

This looks an awful lot like an eye.

Those are extremely new pictures, just look a minute ago and wasn't there. Nice find! I wish I knew what the shipping container and yellowish things meant. EDIT: and yeah, its pretty much a given that its dinosaur related. But I sure hope its something thrilling and not a walk-though..
-
There is one clue in particular that I think has been swept under the rug is the date, March 18. The exact same date as the announcement that Son of Beast was NOT operating exactly a year ago. Is this just a coincidence? I don't think so. And as for the shipping container in the north parking lot: what if it is a hint in and of itself? What if Don put the shipping container image on the banner on purpose, knowing that there is a shipping container in the parking lot with, not WindSeeker, but equipment for another ride inside? So many possiblys.

Did anyone else notice the gravel?

Sorry, after rereading the previous post. This post is irrelevant. Love, FOFreak

Huh? I click the photo tab and nothing shows?

I think this weekend would be a great time for a certain someone to take a flyover of Kings Island. *cough* Monroe *cough*

From what I gather, Don copied your quote onto the Teaser page, and then linked a picture of what looked to be mud. Just to toy with us. It was quickly removed.

Not to hijack the conversation as well, but I use Windows 7 and LOVE it. But seriously, I'm loving these clue type things we keep getting! Its annoying, but I love it at the same time! I feel like they are totally screwing with us, while simultaneously giving a select number of us hints. Idk about some of you, but I'm going to be mashing my refresh button for the next couple of days!

Whatever this new attraction may be, I'm not expecting much theming. (sorry to disappoint the dino-hopefuls here) And if by chance it is themed; I expect it to slowly deteriorate in the next few years. Because we ALL know how good Cedar Fair is about theming.. Am I expecting something exciting? No. Its far to late in the off-season to start building something significant in size. (Unless there is already construction going on that they haven't been showing us?)

I voted Sling Shot. Simply because it is the only ride in the park I have yet to gain the courage to ride. This thread reminds me of my very first trip to Kings Island in 08'. I was deathly afraid of roller coasters and wanted absolutely nothing to do with them. My mom tricked me into riding Flight of Fear by not telling me what it was she was making me get on. I was clueless. She had everyone in the queue say that it was just "a room you went into and it spun you around." And being a fan of teacups, I was okay with this. But then out of nowhere, I hear the blood-curdling screech of Flight of Fear launching. To say the least, I freaked out. I was panicking, and although I don't remember very vividly, but I was was probably crying. The rest of the queue seemed like it took forever. But then, there I was. Getting into the train. I held on tight, nervous as could be.. then, HURRMMMMM *swosh* we were off. White-knuckled all the way. Then we arrived in the station.. and that is how my love affair began <3

Firecracker Coaster Pic
FOFreak replied to IndyGuy4KI's topic in Other Amusement Parks & Industry News
Yes. I never got the chance to ride it unfortunately. It looks rather rough. Can anyone here remember any ride experiences on how it was back in the day? -
Alright, even though I have a feeling that this is going to be used for unlawful things, I can't assume. And I'm in need of something to do. KIR, what are the dimensions that you prefer for the logo?
