  1. I've seen the switchbacks open and only Red running.
  2. Because it's not "exciting" enough. Same reason the real Beast logo isn't used.
  3. Still, I find it suspicious that it was on sale, then it fell apart. Did KI know that it was a bad batch? Now THAT would be bad guest relations...
  4. For one, the whole sky at the top of the logo was originally blue and pink. Also, the Flight Deck lettering *should* be solid blue, not part gray. As I said, the picture doesn't do it justice. It should look more like logo used for FD on the RWN site.
  5. That's a design that's used at lots of parks, including Cedar Point and Kennywood. However, my CP one is "Fearsome Five" so...
  6. Are you referring to the small souvenir cup? I think those are old.
  7. So did mine. However, my FD one looks like this: (note: the picture does NOT do this justice. It looks far, far worse in real life)
  8. Doesn't Six Flags have a CN kids area? Edit: http://www.sixflags.com/greatAmerica/food/...oonNetwork.aspx
  9. I say just slap a generic theme on NU- I like the Ride Warriors Lab idea that someone brought up a while ago. Bring Back Beastie, repaint Avatar to red and yellow- Diamondback Jr! Runaway Reptar could be Little Flight Deck. Timmy's Air Tours could be Crypt Jr! The Zamperla flying thing (can't remember name) could be Firehawk Jr.
  10. When I do sit on the handrails (which is VERY rare), I sit on the second, lower rung. At Cedar Point, that's their suggested alternative to sitting on top. The only time I've done this in recent memory is on DB opening day, after being in line for two hours and finally getting to DB's queue.
  11. "Attention guests waiting in line to ride- please do not sit, stand, swing, or tap dance on the silver handrails..."
  12. Twister II at (at the time) Six Flags Elitch Gardens. It was the most poorly maintained coaster I have EVER been on. I saw it all: cracked boards, trains making disturbing noises, and track making some interesting cracking noises, too!
  13. I'll stick with my platinum pass, kthx. Please, please tell me that $199 includes park admission.
  14. I've worn my FREE DB shirt many, many times. I've also worn my $5 Kings Island 2008 ($5 with $20 purchase) shirt many times. Neither are as in bad condition as my $5 FD shirt. I would almost bet money that they knew that those shirts were very poor quality. It's not just the design that came off- the thing is coming to shreds!
  15. Well, considering that it was, at one point, a $17.50 shirt, I don't think that applies.
  16. Most of the time, I go to KI by myself. They still ask me! At least KI has a decent photo spot, unlike Worlds of Fun, where they took your picture against a wooden fence on the path to the entrance.
  17. Still, my CP shirts have lasted years. I'll have to think of Where Else I can find shirts... hmm!
  18. While I would rather play in traffic on I-71 than ride any of those, I would have to say MS. Front row of the back car was actually an enjoyable ride this year. It didn't leave me in pain! What did they do to it?!
  19. Um, yeah, my Flight Deck shirt didn't even make it through one wash. And yes, I followed the directions on the tag. Just when I was starting to think I might have actually gotten a good deal...
  20. If it's enough to still leave my neck in pain a year later (SoB what?), then I won't ride it. And, I guess you could say I would ride unsafe coasters, since I have...
  21. At least the fire effect still works. But, if not... I'd love to ride the rest of the ride untrimmed... hmm!
  22. The stair effect looked incredibly painful...
  23. ^^They actually are advertising it on some sites, I keep getting banner ads for it on IGN.
