Yesterday, the ride op was saying "Goodbye!" when it launched.

I hadn't ever heard it on before, either. Strange.

I would think it would have been easy to change "...the outer limits." to "...the limit." on that one in particular.

I rode DB in the rain today. It wasn't *too* bad. No rerides, though, for whatever reason (I actually saw a train go out with only THREE riders!). It wasn't nearly as bad as Vortex. Oh, Vortex... all I remember was pouring rain, and pain. (Of course, the Arrow Quickrete coated restraints didn't help)

Has Flight of Fear always had a pre-recorded loading spiel? I noticed it today, along with the "...kindly explain why YOU are the ones trapped in your seats!" and "We didn't actually expect you to survive that!" ones being on. (Also, they finally dusted the UFO and fixed the broken lights- thanks, KI maintnance! )

At Flight of Fear: "Come on, let's go ride Flight of Fantasy!" "The Scary Flight is over there!" (in the exit area) "THAT WASN'T ANYTHING LIKE SPACE MOUNTAIN!!!" (referring to the new spiel) "That was the worst fake accent I've ever heard." At The Crypt: Woman (standing RIGHT NEXT TO where the door used to be, where you can CLEARLY SEE the ride!): "Is this a rollercoaster?" Me: "Um... no." "This is like that Tomb Raider thing they used to have!"

Okay, the pee smell in the queue is starting to get really, really bad. Could a few bottles of Febreeze really take that much out of the budget?

SoB was designed to run with 3 trains. In fact, I think the park might have owned three Premier trains at one point.

I have to agree with KI being on there. Going my first time last year, I showed up with no expectations (and no knowledge that it would be my home park in 2009!). KI was certainly far nicer than I expected, and it made me rethink CP being my #1 park.

I'm possibly going on Skyflyer tomorrow, if the tickets are cheap at 10am. Here's hoping!

But, at that time, it still ran a good cycle and seemed like it would be at the park for a while. Now, not so much. At least the demon bat works now.
