  1. Or, Tower Gardens could remain a nice, peaceful area, and even have the water working again. Not every area small plot of land needs to have a ride plopped on it. Tower Gardens is one of my favorite peaceful areas of the park.
  2. Exactly what I was trying to point out... we all criticize CF's new names, but can't think of much better ourselves.
  3. Well, I was expecting DB to be a woodie, so...
  4. There is good reason for the no reentry during the haunt. "Because drunks can come in" is NOT a good reason. It's, plain and simple, a money grab by the park. What's keeping drunks from coming in during normal season?
  5. Same with me. Drop Tower is, to be honest, the worst name EVER. It's almost as bad as These United States.
  6. I thought Action Theater was called Action FX Theater before, but the list that KI has called it "FX Theatre" (of course, it's also called FX Action Theater and Paramount Action FX Theater on that site).
  7. Since so many of you seem to highly dislike the new CF names, I'm just curious what some of you would have renamed the Paramount rides. (list borrowed from KI site) Drop Zone: Top Gun: Italian Job: Stunt Track: Face/Off: Tomb Raider: The Ride: Days of Thunder: Paramount Theatre: Action FX Theater: Bubba Gump Shrimp Shack:
  8. Except that garden hose water isn't green and digusting...
  9. The Beast is unique- there's other coasters that try to prowl and dash through the woods, but there'll never be anything else like The Beast.
  10. Flight Deck vs... RAPTOR?! What happened to Iron Dragon?!?! That's like comparing Son of Beast to the Mine Ride... oh, wait...
  11. The CF site still says 16th... FAIL!
  12. I noticed that the work lights in the queue are now on all the time. Not that big of a deal, it's probably because of the "inappropriate activity" that had been going on. The demonbat actually works now, but that's not necessarily a good thing- it seems to always roar right in the middle of the boarding spiel, so nobody pays attention once it roars. :|
  13. Yes, they do, and they have for a few years, I think.
  14. I noticed that, in AE's final tunnel, the second... um... fist pounding man... on the right has one eye that doesn't work, and one of his arms doesn't work. The third one on the right has an eye that changes color too fast.
  15. Hmm, that's up there with "no reentry during Haunt".
  16. I don't know why they're messing with something that's popular. It's so... bizzaro.
  17. He was right, it was in Missouri http://rcdb.com/id125.htm http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/River_King_Mine_Train
  18. I think he means the one that had Arrow standup trains. But that wasn't at EXT at Wolds of Fun.
  19. The Crypt was so empty yesterday, you'd think people had died on it- the longest I waited was when the line started at the end of the tunnel, with none of the switchbacks open! I love some of the guest comments at TC, especially about the ride program change. "THAT WAS HORRIBLE!! WE DIDN'T EVEN GO UPSIDE DOWN!" "Someone fell out, so they had to change it." "That was worse than Reptar!" "There's more, right?" "I hate Cedar Point."
  20. I don't think BLSC has bins, either. Not sure about that one.
  21. Wikipedia says 2003, but I'm not sure if that's right.
  22. Or it could simply be a projector issue that'll be resolved. From the looks of it, they simply had a portable projector on top of the normal one, which would explain the poor picture quality. If it were permanent, I'd think that the normal one would just be gone altogether. The ride still draws in guests, but, much like the Crypt, won't draw in as many if they continue to operate it in the way that they currently do... (how long has SB3D been there, again?)
  23. I think they'd be able to find him if he had gotten hit by a coaster's train. :|
