  1. I might be wrong, but I thought Jukebox Diner sold the same seasoned fries that Hanks used to.
  2. I'm not Don, but in the past you were always allowed to use old cups, as long as they said Kings Island on them. Nevermind, interesting...
  3. The platinum vouchers work at the "wrong" parks, but you'll have to fill out the information sheet again most of the time.
  4. KD really likes one train op. They won't run a second unless there's a line.
  5. That's what I don't like. If they had NextGen initiatives that fit into the parks well (Haunted Mansion queue is a perfect example of this not being done- Space Mountain queue is an example of doing it right) and weren't so creepy (George Orwell is rolling in his grave), I wouldn't mind it as much. But the whole xPass/FP+ thing is a mess. Between adding it to rides that should not have a FP line (Spaceship Earth, Imagination, Seas, Haunted Mansion) and forcing you to schedule much of your vacation months in advance (dining reservations, anyone), they've gone a bit far. A centralized FP system is a great idea, but scheduling set times might not be the right answer.
  6. Keep in mind how close Knott's is to Disneyland. Since CF knew they couldn't compete with Disney at theming, they tried to go after those who want thrills instead.
  7. Does this mean we can speed the bumper cars up now?
  8. Next time we hear that Mr. Ouimet will visit Kings Island, we should get a group to gather between Jukebox Diner + the ball toss and start shouting out things like 'Great flying number 3!' and 'yeah number 7!', while a few of us run in circles periodically jumping.
  9. If you look in the grate in the center of the ship, there's ceiling tiles. They're not very well hidden.
  10. I applied for Admissions Associate, Dinosaurs Alive Associate, and Rides Associate. Admissions is a really great team. It can be a bit stressful, but it's one of the better departments.
  11. I didn't notice this until someone pointed it out, but doesn't the TRON Grid City look a lot like Nova Cite?
  12. The narration says what's in the former hot/cold/corrosive tests.
  13. If only. I really do love the queue and entry doors to the attraction. It fits in really well and some what resembles the Mission:Space queue. But that canopy is just awful and cookie cutter. I'd expect it from Cedar Fair, but not Disney. Other than that and the untouched 'power' circle, Well done Disney. Well Done. It doesn't even look Cedar Fair, it looks like Home Depot ate a bad churro and threw up all over Epcot. It is, however, more acceptable than the Epcot '94 trash that's left everywhere. Innoventions Plaza, I'm looking at you.
  14. Girl blatantly ignores instructions, gets injured, parents get upset and blame the wrong people. Must have been a slow news day.
  15. "We're not going to show it to anybody!" Oh, really? It kind of looks like it was her fault... she held up the paper plate of yummy dolphin food, so of course it tried to snatch that out of their hand. Also,
  16. The only way the new Test Track could have been better is if it was Horizons. Or if they had been able to design it from the ground up instead of being locked into the old track layout. But pretty much anything's better than the "crash-bang-boom-twang" car testing facility of TODAY in FUTURE World... if only they got rid of the canopy, though.
  17. I think on the first page where it has a check box next to each park you'd say yes, not the one where it asks if you're a returner.
  18. Even if there were, you wouldn't be able to tell anymore with how KD's line is set up.
  19. Hey, even if you aren't able to ride the new Test Track (which it looks like there's a good chance of), at least you're at Epcot!
  20. Squee! http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=JRoILMhldd4 It looks much more EPCOT than it does Epcot, which is a very good thing.
