Or they still have some left over from when they removed it all from the stores and they're trying to get rid of it.
-
"The Dumb and Only!" Nah.
-
Also... I have a feeling that many of those companies focus group tested many slogans which led them to use their current one. I highly doubt KI focus group tested theirs at all.
-
You're right. We're quite a bit more inclined to be fans of the park.
-
So you're saying that the shouldn't try to make a slogan that actually sounds appealing? If it "doesn't affect your 2010 visits to Kings Island", then why do they have a slogan at all?
-
Keep in mind the fact that they'll probably make a ton off of the shipping, if it's a flat rate for any item. (I don't see shipping info anywhere on the site...)

http://www.kimarketplace.com/Beast-Zippo-P122C10.aspx This gives me some ideas, but I already have a customized KI lighter... http://www.kimarketplace.com/T-Shirt-USB-Drive-500-MB-P120C10.aspx This is one of the cutest things I've seen on their site in a while! Too bad it's so small.

At this rate... 2010: "Kings Island: The Fun and Only" 2011: "Kings Island: Ride Till You Puke" 2012: "Kings Island: Under New Management"
-
Oh dear... that's really... bad.
-
"Resized to -Infinity%"?
-
Hahaha... KI wishes that. Think of how many repeat guests KI has that rode TRTR or even the 2008 Crypt. Imagine their surprise when they rode... well... that. I doubt that 100% of the people that replied to "how was your ride?" with "THAT SUCKED!" were enthusiasts (also notice that they seemed to stop asking that after a few weeks of Crypt 2009).
-
Downtown... wow, even I could have caught that. I don't think it's that someone likes The Crypt, I think it's that people rode it more often (two or three times in a row) because it never has a line. I can remember one day where I rode it almost 20 times because it didn't have a like- in fact, it was deserted- when everything else did! (also, I'd bet many people rode it because they were curious about how KI had wrecked it)
-
No, didn't you hear about the special paper they're printed on? When a ride is removed, the ride automagically disappears on all past maps! It's like the Ministry of Truth for amusement park rides!
-
Wiki can be reliable, if it is accurately sourced, which this is not.

"Mr. Six's DanceCoaster"? Oh dear...
-
Can you imagine the rig they'd have to make to have on-ride video on Firehawk?

Attraction Awards of the Decade
CedarPointer replied to coaster_junky's topic in Other Amusement Parks & Industry News
I notice a lot of comparisons between apples and oranges in this poll- notably Hard Rock Park in biggest epic fail (the rest are rides...) and WDW in best employees (yeah, let's compare a worldwide tourist attraction to Holiday World). -
No, it's still open, just not all the time. Vortex Photo seems to be open most of the time.
-
Did FoF have a normal on-ride photo for any of 2008? I could swear I remember seeing the photo booth open, but it wasn't when they had the videos...
-
But maybe the children like to party in the USA. Hopefully everyone in line for Diamondback also likes to party in the USA, as you would most certainly hear it over there if it's anything like CP.
-
I will say this: A few rides do lack "no photography" on the fun and safety guides. And I'm not talking about Eiffel Tower, either...
-
I wonder if the Eiffel Tower counts as a ride...
-
If it's like CP's Planet Snoopy, we'll be hearing the likes of the Jonas Brothers and Miley Cyrus. (bleh!)

My Review of the CW names: Peanuts 500: This one is okay. Snoopy's Revolution: Uh... this makes me think of two things: Magic Mountain and war. Oh well, it's not too lame. Lucy's Tugboat: Not very creative, but it's okay. Boo Blasters on Boo Hill: This name is so lame. I keep needing to enunciate it carefully so I don't say "Boob Blasters on Boo Hill". (are we allowed to say "boob" on KIC? I searched and it seems to be okay...) Sally's Love Buggies: Sounds like an STD. Woodstock's Whirlybirds: It's okay. I like the logo for this one. Joe Cool's Dodgem School: Ugh! Besides the attempt at a rhyme, it doesn't make sense. The Pumpkin Patch: this sounds like a seedy roadside attraction. Snoopy vs. Red Baron: This one is sort of lame. Not too bad, though. Character Carousel: The logo for this one is really good! The name isn't that hot, but it's better than Nick-O-Round.

Don Helbig stated it was 100% a CF project. (however, he's also said that SoB is closed due to mechanical reasons)
