Theming? Ha! Ha!
-
Because they don't seem very concerned about how the cards look, or the quality of the card itself. Not to say that the design is ugly, but it's nothing to get worked up about. The Carowinds one is amazing.
-
Oh, okay. I wasn't around for the H-B Land era, so I wouldn't know.
-
20.2mi according to Bing Maps.
-
They didn't take down the Ride Warriors banners? I guess they can't be planning on using them in 2010... That's a really pretty picture- I miss KI!
-
Yep... Ryan Homes for the lose win? This is my community's clock tower in the roundabout down the road from me:
-
Taken a little while ago, outside of my house. (extra credit if you've seen houses identical to mine before!)
-
I guess it's another incident of CF removing details then adding nothing in their place. Just like the Action Zone sign, various things in former Paramount themed rides, the Paramount Story... kind of a shame.
-
Ohhhhhh... I hadn't seen that before. Nevermind!
-
Was there any particular reason that KI removed most of the detail work from the marquee sign? It doesn't appear to be Paramount-related... Compare: Before: Current: (and, no, I obviously don't mean the PKI logo.)
-
They probably could have saved money by just breaking them up and disposing of them, rather than transporting what appear to be solid concrete benches across the park. Of course, the same could be said for most of the stuff back there (what use would they have for the Nickelodeon Central sign?), so I'm probably wrong.
-
I don't know the extent of HB references on the benches, but I can't imagine the park keeping them if they can't do anything with them.
-
Isn't Scooby an HB character? They had an entire store dedicated to him. And, before you're too quick to point out the separate license, that store also carried Flintstones merchandise.

Kings Island's 2010 Schedule Released
CedarPointer replied to Diamondback FOF's topic in Kings Island
No November 1st this year. -
Well, how many of us* have been in the park since November 1? *that do not work for Cedar Fair Entertainment Company and therefore could speak freely about anything they saw
-
Am I the only one who mentally finished "Ki's Online Store" with "...is terrible."? Just delete anything after the .com in the URL and hit enter.
-
The benches are right here.
-
If they slap dancin' Snoopy next to the KI logo next year, I may just cry.
-
You never know! (I didn't think that'd be the first thing someone would notice... something much more obvious is gone too!)
-
There are good reasons to leave it on. For one, it gives a good point of reference for someone trying to find, say, Flight Deck. "Oh, it's over by the big wooden coaster!" And they left Action Theater on... You never know, the map could look like this next year!
-
Keep in mind that SoB was not featured on the Haunt map. Someone at KI surely knew that removing it would spark rumors, but did it anyway. I think that speaks for itself.
-
Okay, good.
-
Actually they are Millennium Flyer trains. http://rcdb.com/4274.htm?p=23326 You do realize that's not the same ride... right?

Tower Johnny?(or something like that)
CedarPointer replied to CP+KI Girl's topic in Kings Island History
Oh dear... -
CF keeps most of the park nice. Honestly, how many people do you see in Tower Gardens? I'd rather they spend their landscaping budget in other areas which have more traffic. Tower Gardens is the exception, not the rule.
