Is there a ride in Planet Snoopy that you really enjoy riding? Even if you don't have a child to ride with. I have to say I really enjoy Surf Dog.

Could KI be hinting at a possible Reversing of one side of Racer?
IndyGuy4KI replied to New Horizons's topic in Kings Island
I do think it would be very popular if they brought it back. In the last 10 years and before 2017, what was the most asked question about Kings Island? When is Winterfest coming back? and Why are they no longer running one side of Racer backwards? Because I miss it. -

Correct. If they wanted to do so, they could have it going backwards pretty quickly. -
Maybe a second one?

We know there are lots of feelings on COVID and protocols. Let's please keep that discussion on the COVID thread linked below and get back on topic of Winterfest 2021. Thanks! https://kicentral.com/forums/index.php?/topic/36114-coronavirus-impacting-theme-parks/ I am excited for Snow Works. A simple attraction, but is a lot of fun.

Just like Son of Beast. Doubt we would ever see that name used again!

We got ours at Emporium last season and they still had them earlier on the season.

I am thinking a flat ride that can be rode by multiple "generations".

It seems to me the sentences are scrambled to play with us. Seems like it should read: Decades ago astronomers predicted it would happen. A meteor storm will continue for generations, but there is hope. In 2022 it begins.

This is the price online. Is $40 a reasonable price for these? Here is the direct link: https://www.kingsislandgear.com/collections/new-apparel

I see where you are coming from, for I ask and look to see if my littlest child is good to go, but I know (at a CF park at least) that I can rely on a ride op to verify that my child is in the restraint properly. What if my 6 year old is riding with their brother or sister who are not going to be as cautious as me making sure they are secure. What if they are riding a few cars up or a different cycle? He doesn't always ride with me or my wife. We put our trust in the ride ops to verify our kids are safely in a restraint before they dispatch.

The culinary team at KI has been pumping out some great food for us. Lets show some appreciation to them by having a Photo Contest! "Kings Island Food Photo Contest" Post your best photo of Kings Island Food! Be creative and if you can get a coaster or another cool backdrop in the pic even better. Rules: Only 1 picture per post. (If there is more than one, the whole post will be removed.) Any photo without KI Food will be disqualified and removed. A max of 4 submissions. (Any additional submissions will be removed.) All photos must be your own. (No pictures from websites or any other sources.) All photos must abide by the Terms of Service and all park rules (for example, any pictures taken as a result of trespassing or any that are taken on rides that prohibit photography/loose articles will not be acceptable and will be removed and possible loss of posting privileges.) To make it more fair, please do not post pictures from areas that only employees can get too. (Tour locations from Coasterstock are fine.) Some unique and creative edits on pictures are fine. Double posting will be excused in this thread. Only Likes will be counted, not any other emotion. The most important rule: HAVE FUN! The contest will be judged by the members. So if you love a submission, vote for it with a like. You can vote on as many as you want. This will run until October 24th. The winner will get to order a free KIC shirt as their prize along with bragging rights! Good luck!

Discussing Land and Space in and around Vortex
IndyGuy4KI replied to Klabergian Empire's topic in Kings Island
Triple post excused. I like than you kept it away from The Beast as much as possible. -
We are now officially into fall per the calendar. Mother Nature is also shifting into fall mode as we feel the change from muggy warmth to soggy chilly days. What does that mean for KICentral members? We look forward to the changing colors of the trees as we ride our favorite coasters during the day, and the cool wind in our face as we take night rides on The Beast and Orion. The park just has a different feel in the fall that can not be explained to those who have not experienced it. As we get off a ride and warm up a bit, what does our body tell us we need to do? That's right, time to get some good food. The saying goes, "come for the rides and stay for the food." Has Chef Major turned that around? "Come for the food and stay for the rides." Time for you to decide! Chef Major has been working his magic in the kitchen to bring us some great treats at this years Tricks & Treats. Not only do we have our normal meal plan options, but the Trick's & Treats tasting card is sure to keep you warm this fall. Who's mouth does not start watering when you see this offering at Coney BBQ? Burnt Ends & Tot Hash - Smoked brisket burnt ends tossed in honey BBQ glaze served over seasoned tots and topped with pickled red onions. Here are all the locations that will offer tastings. There will also be Specialty Brews & Booze Bars at select locations throughout the park. Some are even available in a non-alcoholic version. To learn more about the tasting treats: https://www.visitkingsisland.com/blog/2021/september/foodie-guide-taste-the-flavors-of-fall-at-tricks-and-treats-fall-fest-at-kings-island To give us your reviews of the Tricks & Treats Tastings, post them in this thread: https://kicentral.com/forums/index.php?/topic/38185-kings-island-2021-food-news-and-reviews/What What item on the tasting card menu are you looking forward to the most?

Weak showing for KI at 2020/21 Golden Ticket Awards
IndyGuy4KI replied to BoddaH1994's topic in Kings Island
I have not heard anyone say that. I agree you can notice the drop difference, but the floater air on DB is hard to pass up for me. -
https://www.cedarfair.com/blog/2021/cedar-fair-hires-ty-tastepe-as-senior-vice-president-and-chief-information-officer SANDUSKY, Ohio--(BUSINESS WIRE)-- Ty Tastepe has joined the company in the newly created role of senior vice president and chief information officer. He will be based at the company’s office in Charlotte, North Carolina, and will report to President and Chief Executive Officer Richard A. What’s up with the new template?
IndyGuy4KI replied to King Ding Dong's topic in KICentral Footnotes & Small News
We are tying to see if we can make it totally disappear. Dane has to look into this one. I guess I need to go to the Dollar Tree per my ad. LOL
