With it blocked off for one side access now, half the queue is useless at this point anyway. A revamp is a good idea.

I love the backstory of matching it with the brewhouse. -
Knotts Berry Farm Discussion
IndyGuy4KI replied to YoungStud's topic in Other Amusement Parks & Industry News
It is a fun little ride, gets you differently in the stomach than other coasters. I rode it several times and enjoyed each ride on it. -
Cool info to know @FoF96". Thanks for sharing.

Awesome idea there HC325.

I am hoping Chef Major has some ideas for the 50th anniversary in 22 in the food department. In the not to distant past there were threads about bad food quality. Now most of the discussion is positive and people looking forward to the next food event wondering what Chef has up his sleeve. He really had changed the game with the food at KI.

Kings Island Welcomes 2022 with the NYE Party
IndyGuy4KI replied to IndyGuy4KI's topic in Kings Island Central Newsroom
Kings Island has posted their 50th anniversary event page: https://www.visitkingsisland.com/events/50th-anniversary -
Kings Island ended 2021 with the return of their New Years Eve Party. The party did not disappoint and was the best one yet. Kings Island has learned how to put on a great NYE experience for everyone who attends. KICentral heard nothing but great things yet again for those who were at the event. Thank you for another great 2021 season in the midst of a pandemic Kings Island. Here is a video Kings Island sent us this morning of the NYE party. As another successful Kings Island season comes to an end and now we look forward to a great 2022 season. As we now put our thoughts on the 50th Anniversary season, we have many things to look forward to next season. Many rides have or are getting repainted. Eiffel Tower, The Racer, Race for Your Life Charlie Brown, Adventure Express, Backlot Stunt Coaster, Drop Tower, and Flying Ace Aerial Chase. Lasty, we have the official news we got on Christmas Day with the 2,000 ft of track work being done on The Beast. The 2021 season is barely over and there is already much to look forward to for the 2022 season. I also have a feeling we have not herd the last of the 50th anniversary season celebrations.

Just my own guess, but I feel that the validity of these plans are pretty low. nothing is impossible though.
-
I hope you did not ride this. You would have woke up with your thighs crushed.
-
They do need a good people eater B&M, but with the price of things right now (if this is real) will they make this investment? Possible plans are not the same as an announcement or seeing construction.

I am not an ACE member, but I think you are wrong here. ACE has done a lot for the industry and continues to do so for all parks far and wide. Look at what this very site and is members have done for Kings Island over the years. KIC has value for the park, not only with our news, history, pic galleries, forums, now podcast, and basically a fan ran marketing team for the park that costs them nothing. Look at the way KIC has helped spark interest in younger individuals/members who are now in the industry. Members have encourage each other to peruse their dream. Heck we have a long time member that now does theming across the chain. A member who has written a history book. The list goes on. ACE also helps provide those interests and passions by doing what they do. Getting back on topic, I can't wait to see what new life is brought back to the Beast with the new engineering for the drop and helix. If it is anything like they did for The Racer I can't wait to experience it.

My issue with a big wheel is that they are so low capacity. Very pretty to look at though!
-
I have a hard time believing the park is going to change decisions for a ride (especially when that decision is required for safety, longevity of the ride, or lowers the TCO) around an ACE title.

@beastfan11 if you want to PM me a link to download the file I can try and get it to upload on the back end. -
Thanks for sharing. I wish there was an alternative to wearing skates. Not sure what that would be. Ice skates and I don't get along. Now roller skating is a different story. It looks like you guys had a great night. I really think Winterfest is a great event and so glad CF brought it back and did it right.

I think you have them a bit mixed up. MT's trains are millennium flyers by GCI not timberliners from Gravity Group. Now, since Gravity Group is working on The Beast, they may be recommending Timberlines for them. Alternatively, since we say the tweet from the park of them doing the train rehab, I don't see new trains coming for The Beast, but who knows. Things can change. Cool dream, maybe we will see new trains some day.
