Thanks I had a great time! If your going for ERT I would suggest you do Boo Blasters right after you ride Diamondback and or The Beast, if it is open during ERT next weekend.
-
I saw your group walking to The Beast when I was walking out the exit and I saw you guys a few times after that.

Rides are effected by temperatures. Shocker! Steel expands and contracts. When it's cold coasters tend to run slower. Tracks really do warm up. I rode The Beast during ERT yesterday and It felt very sluggish. Then I rode it again later in the day and it felt much faster. It's been mentioned here before on here many times. From the 5@5.

I heard something funny in line for Adventure Express. There were kids from Atlanta and they had a southern accent. This kid seemed scared and his friend said HAHA you sissy! The scared kid said I fell out on a roller coaster once! They told me to put my hands up and I flew out! It was at the spring carnival! Just the way he said it made me like die of laughter. They were asking everyone in line if this coaster goes upside down.

Your a master blaster! The first score I got on Boo Blasters was a 390. I think I was a little distracted. The second time I had a 930.
-
Don't think so. When was this?

Check out post #12 in this thread. It was having launch issues.

I figured thats where you were! I went to Bo's Turnstile! To answer the question about Action Theatre, there was nothing over there. And there was a garbage can in front of the line. Spongebob 3-d was still there I even went and watched it. Really? Because when I went back there the sign was gone and it was still closed. This was early in the morning. Maybe that's why. I went around 2 oclock and there was a small line for it. I remember it like yesterday.

First off I forgot about bringing my camera so I had to use my phone and it has really bad quality. I left the house around 8:15 and I live a few minutes from Mainville. I was going a way I usually go and the rode was closed so i had to turn around and didn't get to the park until quarter till 9. Once the park opened I ran to The Beast with my girlfriend and we got the third train of the year. It felt so nice to ride again. I noticed they redid some of the supports on 2nd lift hill. After I got off of The Beast I headed over to Boo blasters. I loved this ride. In my opinion it was much better then Scooby. I came back another time in the day and bought the 3-d glasses and went again. I walked around Planet Snoopy for awhile and during that I rode Surf dog. I went over and stood in the huge glob of people by Diamondback's splashdown waiting for the rest of the park to open. Once it opened it looked like EVERYONE was running to Vortex but I ran to Backlot for the front seat and first train of the year. I got on the blue train. They launched us off. Three fourths up the hill I'm like were going to roll back and we did! We sat on the brakes for about 15 minutes. Some of the maintenance people came and pushed us all the way back to the station. They were inspecting the brakes and were going to do a few test runs so i decided to leave and go some where else. We went over to The Racer the only side opened was the blue all day. I went over to the Adventure Express and rode in the last row. I went over to Viking fury and rode that in the third row. I didn't eat breakfast so I wanted lunch early and got chicken bites at potato works. I got done eating and rode the train. I saw a few Ding dongs on white water canyon and just a bunch of ride ops standing there bored. I checked out Action theater and there was still Spongebob. I went to slingshot for awhile to watch someone i knew. Then I went over to Diamondback in the SRL I waited about 15 mintues and got in row 8. The first drop felt pretty good in row 8. It felt so nice to ride that again. During the day I rode scrambler, the Zephyr, another ride on Viking fury, and Flight deck. The Beast closed down around three but I still waited. I saw it in the train shed with the covers off of the lap bars. I read on here from someone that the lap bars would not come up so they had to manually do it. The ride opened back up and I sat near the back and it was a lot faster then it was this morning. It hurt my ribs a little bit too but I still enjoyed it. I went and stood in line for some Blue soft serve ice cream. I got a waffle cone with sprinkles. It cost me five dollars. I sat down in Planet Snoopy and enjoyed all of my Ice cream. After that I went over to Delirium I waited around 20 minutes for a ride. I did some walking around and it was night time. I went over to Flight deck because I've never have had a night ride on that. I walked passed Delirium and noticed there was like no one in line. I walked onto Delirium and enjoyed my night ride. It was cold so I went some where with a blast of warm air. Backlot had no line so I went over to that Because I still haven't made it past the first 10 seconds. Anyways the fire felt nice and the lights were on in the tunnel. That was my first time in there. I never really knew what went on in there during that part of the ride and I saw they used some of the tunnel for storage. At that point It was 15 minutes until the fireworks so i went to the car in the heat and waited and watched the fireworks then I went and got some Wendy's on my way home. Here are some pictures I took with my phone... little fuzzy really fuzzy... sitting after a rollback! These pictures were taken with my phone and there small and fuzzy sorry about that. Eating at potato works. Airtime! I like this one! Overall this was a good day at the park. It was a little cold in the shade. I thought Planet Snoopy brought out a big crowd of kids. There were a lot of rides shut down for the day or just temporarily. Some that I saw were... Firehawk, Red racer was down all day, Blue racer was stuck on lift hill around eight, Zephyr was down for a little, I heard Delirum was down, The Beast had some lap bar problems, and Flying ace valleyed before the park even opened. That was all I noticed and heard about.

Just for safety. I talked to a ride op about this standing in line last year being the next person to go then they closed down the ride. He said he thought it was kind of pointless because where they set off the fireworks is pretty far from The Beast.

I think he needs to be more Selective with his posts.

I like there new uniforms. I wouldn't want to wear them though! Some things I noticed is your no longer aloud in the old queue line for Flight commander, I didn't see the lights on Diamondback's lift hill turned on until around ten, there is a new fence next to exit on Viking fury where people used to walk on frequently(I think the fence was there during haunt), the Dodgem exit is no longer at the other side of ride, on the park map the Eurobobbles are listed as Launch pad, The Eiffel Tower does not change colors right now, and the last thing I noticed was the Fountains turned blueish other then staying red. I only remember them stying red.
-
I waited around 20 mintues for my Blueberry ice cream. So worth it!
-
Nice pics! I totally forgot about my camera so I had to use my fuzzy picture taking phone.
-
I think something was not working right with train three on The Beast. I saw it in the shed after it opened again and all the covers for lap bars with the mechanical parts were all off. I never saw Delirium down. The crowds were a lot worse then last years opening day. Planet Snoopy brought out a lot of little kids.
-
1. My opinion I like Snoopy a lot better. 2. Only theming on the cars I saw were license plates. 1. Nope 2. Didn't see anything special other then the train just sitting there. 3. I actually loved it. 1.Its playing Spongebob 3-d. 2.The box is still there but the name is gone.

Gyro-Balls? Its a new attraction where the Eurobungys(I think thats what they are called) were. The new one is called Eurobobbles. It's a pool of water with balls you climb in and roll around in. Costs 8 dollars though.
-
When I was there this morning the trains were on the transfer track and the ride was closed. From what I could see, they looked the same. The ride had a roll back. I was on it in the front seat of the first train I know Kings Island's Back lot had license plates. Everything else was the same as Kings Dominion.
-
It valleyed I think. I never saw the red racer running all day. Around 8ish the blue side was stick on the lift hill. I saw ride ops going up the lift hill.
-
He probably got banned for a week or two.
-
I'm sure it will take more then a half an hour to get your allergy shots. It shouldn't be too crowded. Last year I thought the crowds other then Diamondback were small. The longest I waited for a ride last year was for Firehawk and that was about 45 minutes. I walked onto rides like Adventure Express and Flight deck.
-
What if it was empty? It would make people go to the park.

Today at school I was talking to someone about Kings Island and I asked him what is your favorite ride and he said...Vortex but its too bad there taking out. I looked at him like he was a idiot then he said you didn't hear? Someone fell out and got hurt because the of the ride sinking. All i did was say that rumor is only about ten years old and walked away.
