It could be named the Lorax If it is a major edition it would be announced in August Not necessarily. Maybe the new attraction would be so big they need to announce it much earlier than August or even July. We also have to remember announcements could come earlier following a massive marketing plan.....KI has a fairly good marketing department and I think they're quite creative....so if they were to announce earlier, they should be able to keep interest and "hype" up.

I noticed there were like 2 or 3 brand new looking seats on the trains and the test seat looks brand new. The first time I rode this weekend the seat I sat in had a brand new clam shell. The park may start replacing these, but they're not cheap.

I actually got it for Christmas this past year.

Sorry for bumping this thread, but I happened to find my way to Jungle Jim's Eastgate with Hoeter today. I had no idea that a piece of Winnie Witch Cauldron was located in the store....I naturally had to take a couple of pictures when Hoeter pointed it out to me. Also, just realized this is post #3,000 for me though it means little to nothing

I got to ride the train twice, love that thing! Had talked to Greg Scheid just around 11:00 yesterday morning and asked why the Eiffel Tower wasn't open (our group had a thought that it may had been due to what happened in Gatlinburg last week but realized it was open the day before). Greg said it needed a replacement part and they were waiting for it to be flown in. He was quiet candid, said things like we had a few hiccups during passholder preview but things are getting smoothed out. Banshee had went down Friday night and Greg said it blew some kind of electrical component and they had it up and running by 10:45 that night to get it ready for yesterday.

Alright, so the fence with the sign about trees falling (teaser) you can't see behind the fence, it's quite put together. Little to no spaces. There are a lot of things I could type, but I'm tired. Did you renew your gold pass before you upgraded it? If so, I'd say you'd be good to go, but would call the park to confirm.

To be honest, I think your friend may be out of luck. Their pass will be coded to be activated at the KI gates on April 16th. Your friend may attempt to call the park up until tomorrow night at 8 (pass processing is happening from 5-8pm) to find a more direct answer. But when they purchased, if it wasn't renewed, it won't be activated for the 15th

Yes. Den of Lost Thieves is a good ride (I only got to ride it once so forgive me for not being too in depth with the ride experience). I felt like it was well put together, fun and had a lot of good opportunities to shoot. The queue is not all that fun though. They did on the 4 cars we all were in last year. That's been teh biggest thing keeping me away in recent years. My grandparents lived in Delphi so would go a lot as a kid when we visited them. I have been wanting to go back as they have added quite a few things since I last went (Cornball Express would be new for me even), but kept hearing reports about lots of rides closed and just poor condition in general. Didn't want to drive the 2+ hours and pay for a wristband to then not be able to ride a lot of what I wanted. Especailly when I coudl go to Kings Island for a similar price and drive time and be for sure to havea great time. Seeing everything that Apex Parks Group is doing for the park and fixing it up has me hopeful that it will run great again and planning to return there finally this year or next year. To be honest, last year was the first time ever stepping foot on property. I had read reviews about how terrible it was, but I decided to ignore those. I had an absolute blast both times I visited last year. The park has potential and I'm pretty sure Apex is in it for the long haul. I think they are going to do great. Definitely get there this year if you can.
