  1. I guess I should say, I don't get the fad on the consumer (park guest) side...... Why would you wait 4 hours (looking at you Six Flags Over Georgia) to ride a coaster with a screen in front of your face? Why would you want to ride the front seat of the train while wearing the VR headset as well? I hope eventually I'm not the only one down the road that appreciates the actual surroundings of a coaster and not a screen (that says something too since I'm connected to my phone a lot).
  2. So question in regards to the dining plans. So I didn't pay much attention opening weekend, but I noticed at Panda Express when using my Dining Plan, the receipt says the total was $7, when the menu board does not say the same thing. At Cedar Point this weekend, Panda Express was $7 on the receipt too as was Frontier Inn. I know at Frontier Inn the menu board says for my meal it was $15.79. That's a 55.59% difference. I track my uses of pass, parking and dining plan so I go with what's on the menu board. But thought it was interesting. What do you think could be going on?
  3. I've passed the park on my way to Niagara Falls and other Canadian destinations....I always wanted to go.
  4. Hoeter and I are headed home. We had a blast today and did several things. Coasters were down temporarily this morning but several opened without issue soon after winds died down. There were hardly any rides with extended downtime. Maverick was one that didn't go into operation our time at the park. Not as windy today as it was yesterday. Warmer too! Forecasts aren't always going to be right, they can help you plan for sure. We did more than we thought we would yesterday and today, it even snowed on us today. Great time was had by us. 5. Valravn front row was killer! So much fun! I enjoyed it, first Dive Coaster for me! Sent from the cellphone Zach Morris used in Saved By The Bell using Tapatalk
  6. If it's not in your email, it'll probably be in your registration materials.
  7. I just don't get how someone does t realize all of the cars in front of them are turning right and the cars to their left are going straight. They obviously passed the park and one would think they'd notice the toll plaza. Why else would cars be turning back toward the park? 8. From the 2015 Guest Assistance Guide: https://www.visitkingsisland.com/images/uploads/file/Guest%20Assistance%20Guide%202015-KI.pdf
  9. But what about those who cannot make it then? I haven't made plans for that time frame yet but I know it's typically a busy time for me.
  10. That doesn't mean the giga KI could potentially be the exact same. I've heard Leviathon and Fury are two completely different experiences, even though they are both B&M. On a side note, I've never been on a dive coaster, but from what I've heard, they are all very similar experiences, even though they have different t layouts. Leviathan and Fury are two completely differences as are Leviathan and Behemoth, as well as Intimidator and Fury 325.
  11. That would be a question for your supervisor and/or HR.
  12. The problem with that is getting all of those people together the same day in the park. I live 1.5-2hrs away.....not as easy to hop skip and jump like some do.
  13. I would be willing to work out payment for shipping, with USPS flat rate. I would love the 2009 associate guide as I lost mine Sent from the cellphone Zach Morris used in Saved By The Bell using Tapatalk
  14. It should be a renewal since you already have a pass and will be upgrading it. As the time gets closer to be sure, contact the park.
  15. The original person who posted about the DA contract has not confirmed that it was signed, therefore, it is speculation, not credible. You might want to look up the definition of plausible. And nothing has been confirmed on any of this including there being a ride built at all, so its all speculation, and therefore not credible to you. Plausible, having an appearance of truth, credible. Maybe you shouda look it up. To believe a contract has been extended for 4 more years without proof is silly. Someone claiming that they heard it was extended isn't credible.

  17. The difference with the Original Bat and Vortex is that Arrow built Vortex at the same place as The Bat. Shoot The Rapids was not at Kings Island. If Intamin were to give a "credit" it would be for Cedar Point and more than likely for the same classification of ride, i.e. water ride.
  18. I think you are right about #2....... As for #2 I'm guessing it has to do with the fact that Panda Express isn't park owned.
