  1. All I saw was people complaining that they have to wait while issues are ironed out. I'd rather wait to ensure the issues are ironed out than get on and have an issue occur where someone is injured, the ride has to be evacuated (although I've been evacuated before from rides) and/or a bigger issue may come up if the first isn't corrected. Going on Friday and cannot wait.
  2. I cannot speak for the use at Kings Island but I used one at Cedar Point yesterday at Coasters.....it was a great experience. Scanning my dining plan was easy as selecting which one I had. Then it gives the options on the plan for that location. It asked what side item you wanted (3 choices) and then it asked if you needed/wanted to order anything additional. The device prints the ticket, take it to the counter to receive your item. It was great, also allowed myself and a friend to skip the line that was out the door because no one was using the kiosk!
  3. I just spent 2 days at Cedar Point..... Friday...I found out there was a new Cedar Point app.....not like park info...but "The Battle For Cedar Point." It's an interactive game that you pick a clan (choices are Millennium Force, Gatekeeper, Valravn, Maverick and Top Thrill Dragster). You then have the option to do the trivia (to get you points for achievements), then you look at the battle map and there are multiple "blips" located throughout the park. You are tasked to find said blip and follow the instructions. Those instructions could be, scan a t-shirt, scan one of the park maps posted in the park, scan a ride sign, enter a queue, etc. When you scan some items, there are some cool things to happen. I'll show you some examples (that lead to the posts I shared from the game on Twitter) under the spoiler section if you wish to see:
  4. As a member of the LGBTQ community, I just am lost. I posted this on my Facebook page this evening. I've been struggling to wrap my head around the events of the past couple of days in Orlando other than sharing my support. Nothing is more gut wrenching than seeing a terror attack has happened in an area where you have friends. I have about 15 friends/acquaintances in the Orlando area. When I saw the news today, my heart and stomach dropped. I got a notification here on Facebook that was letting me know that I have friends that were marked "Safe" in Orlando. I looked closer and at least one of my friends was unaccounted for. He isn't a massive Facebook user so I was not sure he was even in the Orlando area. But still my heart aches while I waited to hear whether or not he was safe. He did reply to my message asking if he was okay...so I'm thankful for that. Unfortunately some may not ever get a response from their loved ones and friends. I am so incredibly heartbroken over this. 50 innocent lives have been tragically taken and many have been hurt. I personally don't care of the reason, I just know that we lost 50 people. 50 people lost and numerous folks were injured. Those folks are/were a part of the LGBTQ and the Ally community. Those folks didn't deserve to be hurt or to lose their lives because of who they love(d). It's disheartening to see posts/perspectives of those who are using religious/political views to justify the attack. It breaks my heart to see folks stating that these people deserved to die and be heart because of who they are. I do not care who you are, if you think their deaths and injuries are justified you can unfriend me right now or I will if I see it. As someone who loves and tries to see the light in all people, I cannot justify keeping someone as a friend who has a dark heart for those who aren't like them, those who don't believe the same things and those who identify differently than they do. Join with me tonight and anytime in sending thoughts/good karma/prayers for those victims of this senseless tragedy, for the LGBTQ Community, for the family/friends of Christina Grimmie, America and this World. ‪#‎StandWithOrlando‬
  5. Oh, I know. Like I said we weren't upset by it, just didn't understand. All good, just offering other reasons. Sent from the cellphone Zach Morris used in Saved By The Bell using Tapatalk
  6. Which is very sad. I think there have been some strides but some major fails. Sent from the cellphone Zach Morris used in Saved By The Bell using Tapatalk
  7. Could have been a few things. Exit passes, a medical form, etc. not all disabilities are able to be seen. Sent from the cellphone Zach Morris used in Saved By The Bell using Tapatalk
  8. A call to action. Sent from the cellphone Zach Morris used in Saved By The Bell using Tapatalk
  9. "This is me saying something nice." Haha that last line made me laugh harder than I should have. Sent from the cellphone Zach Morris used in Saved By The Bell using Tapatalk
  10. I've been wondering about whether or not they were going to improve the fountains per Matt Ouimet. Canada's Wonderland has a wonderful fountain now, Kings Dominions got a sort of upgrade. So shall we get one?
  11. All I know is I'll be taking a ride this weekend just in case!
  12. I had heard Monday (this week) was supposed to be a grand opening.....I'd say anytime now!
  13. Found an article about the ride status and queue look here!
  14. I think that's more for those who haven't yet made it to the park
  15. Sorry for the double post but this is from the company that did the electrical systems. Sent from the cellphone Zach Morris used in Saved By The Bell using Tapatalk
  16. A friend just shared this status on Facebook I still am so confused as to why people leave things on strollers, out in cabanas and needing to bring everything into the park from their house.
  17. Mike went back to Dorney. I want to say Brad is taking another role with Cedar Fair.
  18. Lightning Rod was not struck by lightning, rather the electrical systems were likely shot during the flooding.
  19. Why don't you say? Nothing is holding you back.Sent from my SM-G530T using Tapatalk Depending on how he got the information he might have had to sign a NDA. If he received a NDA it would not be wise to state anything in regards to anything the NDA is created for.
  20. I've heard this at Cedar Point: "Enjoy your ride on The Maverick." Not just GP
  21. Why did I not think about that AT ALL? It could be very possible, given the right amount of work done, that a station could fit into the old TR:TR (Crypt) Building that is basically just SBNO (Until Haunt) It would be nice if we had an Indoor station, with an outdoor track so people can check it out from outside, but people don't know what's coming from inside (The second Launched Woodie anyone?) It could possibly have a near vertical or vertical lift?
  22. The maintenance man knows? Will have to find him next time in the park and ask some questions lol Sent from the cellphone Zach Morris used in Saved By The Bell using Tapatalk
  23. I understand that. But the guy I quoted is still nothing more than a ridiculous fanboy. He has shown that time and time again in his posts. He stated Millenium Force was better than Fury. And those of us that have experienced both, laughed hysterically. I've experienced both....I consider Millennium the best Giga Coaster from Intamin and Fury 325 the best Giga Coaster from B&M. I didn't laugh hysterically when the user stated Millennium Force was better than Fury. That's their opinion. Why would I laugh at their opinion. The thing is, if you feel they are a troll or need to be talked to by a moderator, hit report. Calling someone a troll or a CP fanboy on the forums does nothing but stir crap up. To get back on subject, I looked at the webcams a few minutes ago and from the tower, I realized how cool it would be to see a Giga lift going to the left and right of Diamondback's lift.
