  1. So the proper thing to do would be to hit report. LovinMeSomeBanshee stated: Which in turn is stating the opinion of someone else on Gatekeeper is not valid and then calls the poster a CP fanboy. Simply could have hit report and moved on.
  2. And I disagree, so does that make me a CP fanboy? The thing is, we all like coasters.....some may like a coaster that you don't like....that doesn't mean they are a troll or a CP fanboy. Let's get back to the decoding.
  3. Just looked on the webcams and noticed there wasn't a wait for Backlot.....there must not be a lot of crowds today! Too bad I couldn't hop over.
  4. I mean, I agree with the posters Gatekeeper > Thunderbird position. But that's my opinion as well.....the last half of their post I don't agree with.
  5. Wait....they are actually employing folks this year? The employees aren't actually volunteers? *I had heard at one point they were all volunteers at some point.....not sure if that's true or if it is, when they moved away from that.*
  6. Tony Clark just tweeted the same message and added that Coaster Campout is also cancelled for tonight. Tony's Twitter
  7. From Cedar Point's Twitter Sent from the cellphone Zach Morris used in Saved By The Bell using Tapatalk
  8. I wonder how many folks that live on Cedar Point Road go and if so, how often. Would it be enough at this point in time to justify a toll booth? The one with the speed limit yes.....the one in the foreground of the photo states in big bold letters: Cedar Point RD. People that aren't from around the area could and probably see this as the road to the park and turn down it. The only indication that it's not meant for CP guests is the arrow and description saying "Turn Left for Cedar Point." This could also be confusing to many drivers....I'm sure many have thought "Why turn left when the road is right here?" I'm not arguing the fact that it's not a private road, I'm just stating how signage could be confusing and misconstrued.
  9. I've never paid attention to the signs, so I looked up the road on Google Images this came up: Found Here I dislike that the sign stating what road it is is bigger than the "private property, speed limit 35, enforceable by....." Having a sign that big could be misleading on the fact it's advertising the road and not passable for big vehicles and the fact that the smaller private property sign could be hidden behind it depending on your vantage point.
  10. Yes, my response is not to confirm or deny said designers.
  11. The concrete/excavation/erection of rides are done by sub-contractors. B&M would be the designers.
  12. Very interesting....if that's the case then I've violated the right to use it multiple times, especially as of recently. I prefer that route than the Causeway sometimes. You are correct, 1....totally forgot.
  13. Only two issues I see: One lane in each direction and speed limit may or may not be followed.
  14. From CP on Twitter. I'm gonna guess this will be a few days until Causeway is open. Sent from the cellphone Zach Morris used in Saved By The Bell using Tapatalk
  15. As far as I've heard, there are no injuries. They have been routing everyone down Cedar Point Road. From what I understand no one is allowed to enter the Causeway in either direction.
  16. Coaster Crew and National Amusement Park Historical Association are holding an event there today. Sadly I'm not there. I hope when I ride it, it's better than Flight Deck @ Canada's Wonderland. That's my least favorite Vekoma. How are the seats otherwise?
  17. Cedar Point is currently without power, due to a major storm passing through. I had hear reports of a waterspout crossing the causeway. Here are some pictures collected by CPFoodBlog from user submission: From Sandusky Scanner Live on Facebook:
  18. As of "opening weekend" if you looked in the ride photo/gift shop you'd see merchandise still sitting around waiting to be sold....well....not a lot of merchandise but some.
  19. Do tell! Sent from the cellphone Zach Morris used in Saved By The Bell using Tapatalk
  20. I forgot when Hoeter and I visited, Cedar Downs was no longer playing the racing theme/song. It was playing a horse race audio (someone calling out which horse is taking the lead which isn't on the ride). Really disappointing. Had a friend confirm it is still not playing as of today. :/ Sent from the cellphone Zach Morris used in Saved By The Bell using Tapatalk
  21. Quite possibly.....gosh I wish I could find the original.
