  1. Now that we've briefly digressed to discussing flat rides, I would love to see KI get a HUSS Sledgehammer, but I heard there were some issues with the ride initially. Does Cedar Fair still do business with HUSS? And if so, do you guys think KI would ever get one? I would love a Sledgehammer! There were issues, but they've mostly worked themselves out. Cedar Fair does do business with HUSS, as a ride part supplier. I think the last HUSS addition to a CF park was maXair at CP. It's still used, not a ton.
  2. August 7th is the last day for 10 pm closes. At that point for Dollywood the height of the season is drawing to a close. While there is still more of the season left, I don't think it would justify trying to get the ride ready for a late August/September opening (while it could definitely happen). At some point they have to say, hey we're not going to get all of the kinks worked out by __ we need to suspend operations and work on getting it ready to go for next year. Plus they'll hopefully have something else to get ready for 2017 maybe? (not an additional coaster). I'm the type of person to have fun no matter what, but I won't make a special trip down unless it's for Lightning Rod or Christmas.
  3. Canada's Wonderland is getting new flats next year? Uhm, Worlds of Fun will be getting 2 I believe. As far as we know, there were 7-8 rides picked.
  4. Here..lol If I were to give my true feelings on the woman reporting the hugging I probably would lol.
  5. It's such a shame, PFLAG does great things....Canada's Wonderland is truly losing out on hosting a great organization all because one lady started crap...and that's all I'll say to that so I don't get banned
  6. Then you have parks that announced 2017 additions last year (2015), like Carowinds.... or did they make it all clear? https://www.facebook.com/carowindspark/videos/10154355630908599/
  7. I agree, the exploration of how to talk about the ride should be happening and sooner rather than later. The ride not opening for the remainder of the 2016 season is highly likely. Especially if they don't get the kinks worked out before the 10 pm closes end.
  8. You just made me laugh out loud at 3 am....about woke others up. Oops! I'll give my thoosy license up if it means I enjoy a great themed dark ride that is so immersive that I don't want it to be over when it actually is. The NoChickens and I rode it at SFSTL and I fell in love. They can tell you how much fun I had on it. Relate it to, let's say...Boo Blasters...haha nope....not going there.....Wonder Mountain's Guardian.....where what you see is 96% screen, 2% coaster track (1% is what you see in the queue) and 2% darkness....Justice League would be the better option. Justice League, once inside the building you are immersed with the story, once you board the car there is so much to do/see it's insane. The animatronics are amazing (even the one in the station) and creepy at the same time lol. The story line is clear, there are screens but that's not all you see. The way the ride vehicle moves is beyond fun and just the entire experience is worth any wait IMO. So here, have my thoosy license P.S. I read your signature...oops. P.P.S. I still enjoy Cedar Fair over Six Flags.......for now.
  9. They are great rides! I love them! Wish Cedar Fair would have something of the same caliber.
  10. Looks like the park may be getting a Justice League ride next year! Photo was found on Great Adventure Online's Facebook Sent from the cellphone Zach Morris used in Saved By The Bell using Tapatalk
  11. Hybrid I don't see wood on the structure with the steel track or steel structure and wooden track! This reminds me of the worlds tallest coaster video that floats around featuring Fury 325.
  12. Unfortunately I will not be participating as I've already made plans to be at another park that weekend.
  13. False alarms in crowded forums lead to mass misinformation like the notion of getting a Giga coaster. JK. But seriously, did anyone else think they will announce on 8/16? Personally no.....it's a Tuesday. I feel like a Thursday would be more likely. Sent from the cellphone Zach Morris used in Saved By The Bell using Tapatalk

  17. I'm estimating the total amount of time the ride has been up since "opening" is about 30% of the time. The current down time I've heard rumbling from is due to another restraint recall. At this point, I'd see Dollywood not paying for much of the ride at all. I'd look to see if it opens officially (without major downtime) before the 10 pm closes end. If not, I'd bet that they'd reintroduce the ride for 2017.
  18. The ACE website doesn't reflect that, hence why I put unknown. To some it may not be, but to me until now, it was. Anyway...
  19. It's been rumored I think for a while, but would it be first of a kind attraction? Totally throwing it out there, what if it were a horizontal thrust ride? Sent from the cellphone Zach Morris used in Saved By The Bell using Tapatalk
  20. I apologize I didn't realize there was a difference in classification. From what I can see, the Landmarks are for historically significant coasters. Would a change in the ride some how remove that from the list? Seems to be unknown. I mean it really doesn't matter, only to those who invest in the process of giving the coasters such status. 21. WHAT?!?!?! I always loved looking at the IJST panel . Any pictures of it?
