http://www.wbir.com/news/local/dollywood-extending-its-2016-season/279832634 I highly doubt this will help riders get on Lightning Rod.

Yes....one of those....or another.... I haven't made my decision on what I think it's going to be just yet.

Multiple things could be announced, see the 2016 announcement, a new water slide complex, a new entrance, all season long drink bottles, etc. We'll see on Thursday what will be new for 2017. -

I always suggest America's Best Value Inn on Rt. 250, cheap, rooms are a little out dated but well put together, great showers/water pressure and beds were comfy. -
Yes same person. You are correct with the intended word. Sent from the cellphone Zach Morris used in Saved By The Bell using Tapatalk

For me, it's not that you see the 198 or other things, it's that just by saying "it's right there by ___" doesn't help me see it. I want to believe you! Maybe share a side by side, with one drawing out the 198 on the teaser picture and then the next one leave blank to compare. -
Dude! If you're going to source something, please include a link. For those who may want to see what you're talking about, it'd be a pain to search to find what you're talking about. Please include a link or even a screenshot!

I enjoy this thread just for the fact that most of the updates have been about the elevator being broken! Makes me smile! Thanks Terp! -

I don't see a single thing either......I am straining to make the numbers out but can't see em. Safety? What? The only incident I can think of is The New Texas Giant where the woman unfortunately died due to operator error, not ride error. -
The only discounts that I see are for $5 at Pigeon Forge McDonald's and Wendy's on drink cups. More info here: http://www.pigeonforgetnguide.com/coupons-discounts/dollywood-coupons-and-discount-tickets/ Honestly, I think getting a season pass is worth it. They are only a few dollars more than a one day ticket. Gold gets you free parking (You only need one per family/car load). Also know that most of the people at Dollywood goes to shows. Several times of being at the park (this year included) there were cars like crazy in the parking lot and crowds at the gates but when you get up there, it's mostly older folks who go to see shows and eat. Rides waits generally are minimum. Fire Chaser Express is generally the only coaster that has a long line depending on crowds. Don't bet on Lightning Rod being open.

The Racer revived the roller coaster industry in the 70's. It has a very important place in coaster history and untouchable IMO.But Cedar Fair removed the racing coaster at my park. So I certainly wouldn't put it past them.... I am sure they will never do anything with those. Just a conversation piece. As for that chunk of land. The last 2 grand plaza's were because they made a front entrance and a marina entrance. This coaster doesn't have an entrance near it. I wouldn't be so sure about the " grand plaza " treatment with this coaster. I can tell they may not need the little sun block things over the lines because they could be in shade from trees. I hope this is a ground hugger like Maverick. Flying through the woods ground level twisting and turning and driving through tunnels would be awesome! No...not saying Intamin. Anything with a big drop going fast and down through tunnels. Man I am excited! haha You are forgetting a grand plaza near Fury 325 and Banshee. Gatekeeper is the only one at Cedar Point that has a "grand plaza" and the plaza is not necessarily near the entrance. Valravn just happens to be placed over the Marina Gate that needed redone for several years. -
I wouldn't say it is an issue, more so as making good use of time. Ridership could be way down and they wanted to get a head start. Maybe this rehab will help the ridership grow. Who knows, they could be moving it for all we know, over near #Project2017 Sent from the cellphone Zach Morris used in Saved By The Bell using Tapatalk

Dorney Park: season-long Fast Lane Plus
Creed Bratton replied to malem's topic in Other Amusement Parks & Industry News
I honestly don't see why they are testing it at Dorney.....I mean on rare occasions do you even need Fast Lane for the dry side from what I gather. -
Can you show a source where they said they'd be upgrading Coney Mall over the next seven years? I don't quite remember that. Sent from the cellphone Zach Morris used in Saved By The Bell using Tapatalk
