I saw that the voucher said that our gold pass was active for the new season. I also picked take photo at season pass office when we were upgrading. If we don't have to though, even better! SUPER EXCITED to use the Fast Lane Plus bands next weekend!!!!!!!! I believe if you selected take a photo at the office, you have to do it...there doesn't seem to be a way to back track and change that option.

If we're talking about the one between the resort gate and Magnum's Exit, it'll still be there....it has an access road on top of it. You can see it below circled in yellow....the new resort gate area is circled in red.

Apparently, people think that creating a petition (that they hope gets 100 people to sign) will change Cedar Fair's mind and make them bring in a coaster for 2017. https://www.change.org/p/anyone-boycott-kings-dominion-until-they-announce-a-new-roller-coaster I've kept pretty quiet on the subject, just because I've been looking at what's being said by the fans and the park and the reaction. I may be of the unpopular opinion but I don't feel like the park did anything wrong. As I stated above, the photo teasers were clearly marketed toward Snoopy....the video that Chad did...was clearly tongue and cheek (I looked at it like Mean Tweets from Jimmy Kimmel). The invite to the announcement was nothing more than an invite, they could have easily said nope, no one is coming in but media or announced via video like Six Flags generally does or could have not said anything. I really just saw the local fans of the park before the announcement basically saying we deserve a new coaster, here are all the signs that we're getting a coaster, etc. But I have failed to see why the park deserves another coaster. How has the popularity for I-305 been outside of the enthusiast community been compared to Dominator or Volcano? How have the crowds been when it comes to diversity between thrill seekers and families? Yes, it absolutely sucks that they aren't getting a new coaster....I mean that's really the only real reason I would have to go back to the park as I don't have any other coaster credits to get. The only other reason I would and will go is that I enjoy the coasters that are offered.

Ah I never got that way pre-WindSeeker. I think it still has the old style feel.

Beach gate has mainly remained the same for quite some time.

To be honest, I personally think it was time.... The annual attendance probably didn't help the property either. I get that some people are upset, but I've been cracking up at posts I've seen like "I've written and sent Cedar Fair a strongly worded letter about this terrible decision and I will never step foot on property to any Cedar Fair parks..."

There was...but FunPix is more than digital downloads......it's connected to passes, connected to apps and a website where you can see/edit your photos and even share. Not a 1 time deal. With FunPix you have until the season is over to claim all of them....unlimited, no additional cost unless you want them printed at the park.

I just don't get where everyone is coming up with the thought that KD was hyping up the announcement with showing Hurler and all that. The park clearly had Snoopy in several of the pictures...enthusiasts saw Hurler and immediately thought it was going to be something related to Hurler for 2017 but completely missed the biggest hint in all of the pictures...SNOOPY!

How? I have both, and it was $40 a piece.

You can add on all season dining, all season drink bottles and all season FunPix What remains to be seen is whether or not FunPix will be just for the home park your pass is through or all Cedar Fair Parks....sure hope on a Platinum it'd be for all parks.

I'm not anxiously awaiting Winter Chill Out at CP to find out more! Because they always announce something there.

Think of Diamondback....where does the car end? You're pretty open when riding. Also how can you enforce when you're not with the riders at all times? Once you drop off a lift of a coaster or out of the station you're typically out of view for the ride operators.

I just looked at my "account" and saw that I had not subscribed to any emails.....I changed that.

I find it odd that I didn't get it. I haven't gotten anything for a while though....hmm.

Don't forget that's specific to Canada's Wonderland. They do not have a Gold Pass like we do. Their regular pass never included parking if I remember correctly.

Maybe the announcement is going to be made only on social media......

To be honest, the Panda Express at KI is better than at CP....especially when it comes to the portions for the meal plan. Meal plan at CP is one side and one entree. KI, one side 2 entrees. Orange Chicken at KI is tastier than at CP.

I visited for the first time since Coasterstock on the night of the announcement.....much much much better efficiency for food service. Quality, I'd say it was the same as last year for me.
