As far as the gliders.....I know myself and a few others love riding the gliders with little to no wait so the ert spot is well appreciated. Also to my knowledge there was only one recent year that had a 1 hour ert session. The rest have been 30 minutes. The only place I see a flaw if you can call it that, is that you can't actually enter the gates until 930. But I wouldn't necessarily call it a flaw, I'd consider it more of less time to be in the park. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Decoding Episode II: Rivertown 2017 and the Falling Trees
Creed Bratton replied to jcgoble3's topic in Kings Island
A check mark on the chart doesn't necessarily mean it's only going to happen once.....but it also doesn't mean it's going to happen multiple times. If you think about it in 2016 the rides not returning: Shoot The Rapids, Skyscraper, Challenge Racing. In 2015 we saw the removal of Thunder Road and Shockwave. There are many possibilities on that front. -
Worlds of Fun 2017

Each park has a capital expenditure line for itself.....yes the money comes from corporate Cedar Fair but each park has it's own $ to deal with. The capital expenditure for each park is based of a lot of different factors. -
Timberliners Delayed

I'd also add on that the current ownership and some management aren't typically seen carrying a broom and dustpan around. Some ownership is hardly ever seen unless it's for some appearance and the atmosphere is cold a lot of the time. And no I'm not talking about Matt. -

Not quite sure, as of me posting the picture In The Loop did not say where it was. -
In The Loop had posted a picture on Facebook today with a new teaser for 2017..... here it is: Source Let the speculation begin for this park!

Gotcha. How do you plan on getting this app out there to park goers? (FYI, I'm supporting you, just asking questions)

Bushkill Park comeback?
Creed Bratton replied to PhantomTheater's topic in Other Amusement Parks & Industry News
Interesting..... The pictures of the park in it's current state (in the article) are both fascinating and devastating. -
I feel like this would help out at a lot of locations. The grab and go method. Places like Panda Express would not benefit from this since there are so many options. However, Chicken Shack would be a good option. NOOOOO!!!! Okay get rid of the souvenir bottles. But I'd much rather pay a lump sum and eat off of my plan than shelling out $20 per meal (yes, $20....before I bought my dining plan Friday night, I ate at Chicken Shack and was charged $18.32 for a chicken tender meal w/drink). That'd be fine if the meal kept me full for the rest of the day, but I'd rather not pay $40 each visit to a park (and I visit parks quite often). Panda Express could really utilize a queue line....waiting in hour in line on Saturday, snaking around tables and the line extending to the front of the stage isn't exactly the best method to get folks through the line.
-
Have you specifically bought a dining plan? If you have a season pass and you've bought it for your season pass, you've got all season dining. You also may have bought a single day dining plan. If you didn't buy any dining plan, you'd have to either buy at the park, online or buy food outright.

How do you verify users? Unfortunately anyone can state they're good for the info, but they can turn around and bite you in the butt. I never find ride wait times to be fairly accurate because no matter where you are in line there are so many factors that can make your wait time shorter or longer. Having worked in rides, I can tell you most of the ride wait times we posted or told people were based off of guesses.

My pass on my phone did not work this past weekend. I'm guessing due to the case/screen protector. Kinda lame...I'd rather not take my case off to scan my pass.

One thing to consider from the past few pages of this thread....what has happened in the past doesn't mean it'll happen in the future. -
WWC is a very popular attraction, one of three water attractions (in the main park). I highly doubt it'll be leaving anytime soon. This attraction has a great shelf life and many folks young as well as old enjoy it.

How would you get the wait times via users? How often would these be available to update? A potential problem I see is that someone may update the wait time for Diamondback at 45-60 minutes and someone may report it after that as 0 minutes. If someone were to go there and see that's not the case, I could see some folks getting mad. Good luck with doing this.

Image found here: http://www.imaginerding.com/wp-content/uploads/2016/03/DSC_0020-a.jpg To me, sitting like I was on a bicycle does not seem all that comfortable to me. Just another reason I wouldn't want this ride in our Action Theater.
-
1.) Neither 2.) No 3.) None Personally, I am not a fan of adding anything to Action Theater that isn't really anything other than a stationary Boo Blasters (I perceive Plants Vs. Zombies an interactive game where you shoot at a screen) where you shoot at targets. (Hope that makes sense, I'm exhausted) I would rather Action Theater be filled with Action or an Adventure, not sit on a seat that moves less than the seats used to.

The Beast Tunnel: Who Can Hear You?

For me, having my hands up in the air is more comfortable than gripping a restraint. It's also a point of being free, relaxing and letting go.
