Honestly, I LIKE Maverick but don't love it. I love the hill and launch and thats about it. Don't get me wrong it is a great ride but its really rough in my opinion...
I honestly don't care...
It's a HANDSTAMP. I'm not trying to be mean to the people who dislike it. The problems you state are true. IT just doesn't bother me
Ok! Sounds good!
If you would of had time you should have ridden Disaster Transport. (Is it just me or does that sound confusing?)
Its a mild but fun ride!
When I was 10 (3 years ago) I was terrified of the Big Dipper at Camden Park. In 07'(the same year in) I rode SOB and I cried in the station and all the way off the lift hill. But when we went down the first drop. I fell in love with rollercoasters.
So my advice would just be to go to KI and ride a big ride. No matter how scared you are.
I was thinking about this. What rides do you think will be there in 10-20 years when you bring your kids to KI or any amusement park? Or, will Amusement Parks even be here in 10-20 years?
I honestly think Beast and SOB will be gone. Who knows what the park will look like at that time? Post what rides, if any will be at KI when you bring your kids there.
Apollo's Chariot is a spectacular ride! It is one of my personal favorites. But Diamondback is MY ride, I love it and it will always have a special place in my heart.
OK, because the days that I have been there the SRL has been closed when the line was really short.
Oh and I have a question, so they close the SRL if they catch a lot of groups going in there in a certain about of time?
Oh and also, even if Diamondback has a full queue (which it won't on a Sunday evening) don't be frightened. B & M coasters have a great hourly capacity! It will probably be a 10-20 min. wait for DB when you are there.
Welcome to KIC!
It wouldn't bother me at all to see Vortex leave. But, its not. For many years. It is one of KI's main coasters and they will keep it as long as they possibly can,
But I do like the idea of the arch, it is a good way to remember the ride!
