We have one meal plan for our family and again it's so that having a little guy they get hungry every 2-4 hours. That allows us to eat at off times (10:45/11, 3,etc) so most of the time the lines are non-existent. No one wants to bash employees but they are responsible for part of the problem. Either through their own fault or management. If you can't count change back quickly, or have a hard time making cheese coneys or can't figure out the pop machine that's all on the employee. Not having another register open, that's a supervisor or a management positions fault. Correct me if I'm wrong but, doesn't Festhaus (burger and pizza side) have 8 registers? There should be no reason they don't have the 8 open. If people can't up they are backing the line up. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

For a place like Skyline and some other places in the park the blame has to be put on the employees. Now looking at other options, the ordering like Sheetz would be perfect. It was my idea as soon as I saw this topic. Great Minds Steph! However at the burger joint near Vortex that lines moves very slow and it's just an employee taking orders. So not sure if screens would help or hurt in that situation. When you look at a place like LaRosas it should flow quickly. Literally pick up a pizza and go. Yet some how that line moves so slow. Maybe a cash only or card only lines? More registers open? Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

I'm wondering if this will all be better when the Main Street work is completed. I understand why the city/park closed off the the old entrance, but if it were me I think I would have worked from North to South instead of South to North.... But that's just me. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

I must have missed your post Terp! Not like we went from 75 to 84 pages in a few days haha! And That sounds like a headache. Might wait another weekend. Based on discussions I am already starting to regret the food plan for my son... Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Okay so I didn't get to go to preview opening weekend so some one help me visualize what is going on in the parking lot because it doesn't make sense to me. After I pay the toll, I go down (south) the row parallel to 71 and once I pass the Kings Island sign/drop off area am I allowed to enter the rows to park or do I have to proceed all of the way to the south exit area, turn left, go towards the park, and hen left or right and then proceed into the aisles to park? It can't be any worse than if you wanted to leave via the south exit and you had the people cutting diagonal across the parking lot via the old south entrance Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

He may have! But it's always good to have someone play moderator who can ask or state something to either just cause people to slow down or look at it from other angles... Help people take a step back and survey the landscape so to speak. Get a real feel of the land.... Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk -

I hate to play the wet blanket but has KI actually teased anything? They have a few cute signs up about falling trees but maybe it's not supposed to be a "tease"? Maybe maybe not.... Maybe there is no tease and we are reading more into it? So maybe it could be a flat then haha Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk -
.... Was there more reason to this? So I'll bite(pun intended)... Why not? Right off of Coney Mall you have an Alien Spaceship, a stunt coaster, and a creature (Beast).... If this were to go in Action Theater it's no better or worse.....plus with the removal of the Coney Mall sign and the same music played in all areas what difference does it make? Yet Ohio law says something about keeping all things in the train.... Paging Terp, paging Terp.... A vague but true idea of the Ohio coaster law is needed Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

It was me because my brain went side ways and now it's trying to find an answer to the scenario you set up AKA my brain couldn't comprehend the much easier sentence from before and had to figure all of this out for no reason at all Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Right but you said the attendance would be 190, which relies heavily on the fact that 10% of tickets being sold are single day. Where if the park has 100 people on day one you would have to assume it would hold 100 on day 2 and the math would work out to be 200 attendance, which would be 20 equalling the 10% You are right that attendance percentage would be higher than ticket sale because of the return customers. But if only 100 tickets are sold and we are basing the number of single day tickets on the percentage of total attendance.... In your scenario you can't solve for it (too many variables). Let's even clean it up from my original post. 100 tickets are sold over two days. If all 100 come day one and only the remaining multi day peeps come day 2 we don't know that number. Because your scenario would like like this in a formula. .1y= 100 + (100-X) where X is the amount of single ticket users and y is total attendance. .1y=200-X Y=2000-10x Where if it's just ticket sales it really is X.1=y 100*.1=10 Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Only question on your math (and my math is off since dropping the major and moving into stats stuff so I could be crazy, tired, forgetful, or old).... In your scenario we say 100 tickets are sold over 2 days. If 10% of attendance is single day admissions we don't have enough info to really see that number. When you did your 190 you assumed that 10% of ticket sales were single day which then of course changed your math. If every 2 days 100 tickets are sold, and every 2 days we have 100 patrons in the park then the % remain the same. Because for some the 2 days are ending and for some the 2 days will be beginning. Basically in your scenario on day two the park admission didn't account for new people coming in. And yes maybe I have really over thought this so I'm sorry. This is how math is for me every day and the reason I abandoned becoming a math teacher. I really enjoy experimental math way too much But yes you are right the 10% of admissions would be higher than ticket sales because 10% of admissions would be .1y=X + (X - b ) where X is total in the park at any given day, b is the number of single day users 10% of tickets sales would be .1x=y where X is ticket sales and y is the answer. Soooobyeah your right and I made this harder in my brain than it should be for 11:30 on a Sunday. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

10% of sales or 10% in the park would roughly be the same right? I miss the days of no expiration date. My brother in law would order the 14 day or longer tickets with no expiration and just use them each year. Now they expire with in two weeks Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

If only there was a coaster built anywhere in the world where the woods were right next to the coaster maybe even causing the train to go through or around..... -
Agreed Vortex during the fireworks felt like a scene right out of a movie. Claiming the lift as they start and going through a loop and looking up as a big red firework explodes Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

I hate to be a downer but every tree that gets cut down is another tree closer to be cut down near The Beast. And if The Beast loses its trees.... Well is it any different than other coasters? Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk -

Whoa where can I get the cool drinks and extras you all are using! Comparing what the park did under the last years of Paramount and under Knizel to what it does today is like comparing your math skills from when you were in Kindergarten to today.... And as Terp said you could always go look at maps and plans..... But yes the way the park now runs is to hype things so maybe it's Bathroom maybes it a coaster. Heck last year they Hyped a toll booth... Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk -
Terp if that's towards me please don't take what I say as it's affordable compared to Strickers Grove (and some would argue you could have more fun there than at WDW). But it's relatively affordable based on what I said. WDW is expensive but if you want to go and do things it can be cheaper or more expensive depending on your individual wants and priorities.
