He wasn't any more than 8 years old... I felt pretty bad about it and said sorry to his dad afterward.

That's what I was thinking too. If I were him I would hate to not be on-hand to help with that whole scenario. Imagine that phone call... Also, the KD folks are sticking around today. I'll keep this short and sweet for you guys. I noticed quite a few execs and supervisors walking around today. More than I have ever seen in one day, including some people with Kings Dominion name tags, and even Mr. Matty Ouimet. He was walking around with Greg Scheid around 11:30. I was looking at the construction site and I saw them there just looking at things and over the hill and into the valley. I saw them again walking on the pathway right in front of me while I was on Slingshot. I wonder what they were talking about? In terms of Project 2014, there was quite a bit of activity in the morning. It looks like there were new holes being dug, and there was a cement truck, which I assume was for new footers. These footers span a large area, from SOB's station to the tree line behind Adventure Express. This thing is going to be huge. You get a pretty good view of it from Slingshot (which is a new view for me!) I tried Hank's Burrito Shack for lunch, and was again disappointed with the quality. The chicken was dry and the tomatoes weren't good either. I don't think I'll be going back again, with so many other great options throughout the park. I made another child cry on Dodgem. I wasn't even trying to and I barely nicked the kid, so I think he just got overwhelmed or confused or something. I felt bad about it. There was a few storms that rolled through and shut down every major ride for about an hour each time. The park was not crowded at all, especially after the second wave of storms. I forget who mentioned it on here, but I tried the thing on Diamondback where you sit in the back and look behind you. It was pretty sweet to see on the first drop, but after that I got a bit of a headache from straining my neck. Oh well Reds HOF Grille was incredible for dinner. There are so many options on the menu that sound good that I never know what to get! The service was great, the food was great (I got the ribs), and there were no issues at all. A+ for last night, and I will be back. Every time I see a middle-aged man in a bro-tank I assume it is YoungStud. There was one last night that had a tank on that said "MY MONEY GROWS ON TREES." I'm convinced it was him. If you have any questions feel free to ask! Thanks for reading

Favorite ride at Cedar Point.

Maverick is my favorite steel coaster I have ridden, so I would have to go with that one -
That's a shame. I really enjoyed Massacre Manor.

I just looked for it for the first time during my last visit. If you look to your right of the guess your speed game you can see it! I thought it was cool to find

Kings Island & Soak City PTR - July 11, 2013
coasterfanatic83 replied to VortexBFForever's topic in Trip Reports
I was there that day as well. I looked for myself in your pictures, but didn't see myself until I spotted myself on the train video! I was in the train you passed! Glad you had as good a day as I did. I wonder if I saw you in The Beast line (we were on the second-to-last train that night). -
No, but Alabama did. Roll tide, (t)roll

Imagine how much stacking there would be if everyone had to wipe down their seat before getting in!

Via Kings Island's twitter account: "This year's Halloween Haunt will feature two new mazes, a new fear zone and @EdAlonzomagic. New maze details coming soon." I'm excited to see what they have in store for us!

13 votes in and we're still looking for a southpaw.

It is probably just a piece that didn't turn out quite right and was set aside.

Heart-warming? I bet they are adding a new spicy sauce to Hank's Burrito Shack. Are heartburn and heart-warming similar?

Six Flags Great Adventure tips

This entire comment is for TTD-120-420: I am going to be close to NYC so I figured I would visit it tonight while I'm nearby. What is the easiest way to get into the city without having to actually drive into Manhattan? And gad198, the prizes for a 15 on the 3 point challenge at SF America are your choice of and iPad, a TV, an Xbox, a PS3, or Beats. He wanted me to ask you guys and let him know, because he can't access the site himself. I figured it would be best for him to go to Newark Penn Station, park nearby, and take a train to Manhattan. Is that a good idea? Thanks, Zach (and technically me to I guess?) -
I had my fun with SongPop but have stopped. I didn't lose often, but when I did it was usually to TTD-120-420 (not that I'm bitter or anything)

I did not get hit in the face with a firefly

Today while in restroom near WindSeeker: Young boy, very southern accent: "Luke! Whattaya doin?!?!" Young boy, similar accent: "I'm takin' a deuce! Give me a sec!" These kids had to be about 6 years old.

I was in line for Delirium, so I missed it

Multiple things- going to keep it short because I want to sleep. Project 2014: Heard some construction noises from behind the wall and over near Flight Deck Saw a guy in a hole where I assume a footer is going While riding Adventure Express, I noticed what looked like rebar arranged in the circle form alongside the access road towards Flight of Fear at about where the treeline begins. Kind of like these: (Yes, Baconator, I stole this pic from another thread where you put it so I could give an example. Hope you don't mind?) Soak City: There are some people who are pretty good at the Pipeline Paradise surfing thing. I am jealous of their ability. The Swelter Stopper was pretty cool. It was cold, but it was fun in there. I prefer Breakers Bay to Tidal Wave Bay. I think the tubes just congest it, and I like that BB is just one big ripple instead of multiple waves. Miscellaneous thoughts from my brain after 1 AM: For the first time I saw them open up the shed thing on Dodgem and move a car into there. Also, there is a bin for your bags now instead of holding them with you. I really enjoyed Flight Deck today for some reason. Like more than normal. Rock 'n Roll Never Forgets was phenomenal today. Vocally strong, and crisp moves. Much better than earlier this year. I did some explorin' today and found Flight Commander's queue for the first time today! It's pretty cool that they just left it there like that! I took my 40th lifetime lap on Adventure Express today. A small milestone, but a milestone nonetheless. The crew at The Racer was sending through trains quickly today! Props to them! There was a family of 4 walking around Festhaus today in their socks. What is this, your living room? I rode The Beast at night for the first time this year. Man, I love that ride at night. And there were fireflies everywhere so it was cool to fly by those! Thanks for struggling through my semi-conscious thoughts after a long but fun day at the park! If you have any questions or anything feel free to get at me!

Diamondback was a Cedar Fair project. The old regime of Cedar Fair, but Cedar Fair nonetheless.

The Next Cedar Point Coaster

I doubt it would sell... too much noise from all the rides. They should put them all inside warehouses! -
Without a doubt top 10 post of the season!
