  1. I just thought that after the drop and loop, it was rather boring. I also had a terrible rattle during my ride that seesm to come and go if you read other's reports on the ride. Maybe I just caught it on a bad day.
  2. That is really cool to see all those together, thanks a ton for sharing these!
  3. 1) Voyage 2) Thunderhead 3) Cornball Express - way underrated in my opinion. 4) Shivering Timbers 5) Beast
  4. It appears, from the park webcam, that DB has re-opened.
  5. Glad you enjoyed the Studios. I agree that RnR is better than FoF!
  6. Seems like there are a lot of good reports about Voyage coming from those that were at Holliwood Nights. Glad to hear its back to its former glory!
  7. I too, had thought that The Simpsons Ride was some sort of wild mouse-esque thing, I was pleasantly surprised by the fact that it wasn't (my gf was not though). The only real disappointment I had at USF/IOA was Rockit, which I thought was terrible. Thanks for sharing your pics, glad you had a good time!
  8. Disney is indeed a magical place, glad that things have started off well!
  9. Supposedly, there are two different sets of green wing rider track outside the plant. Separate order numbers have been seen on different pieces of track.
  10. ^That is indeed what the first reports said, then the Blade article that Terpy linked said longest on the park. Personally I believe the former over the latter.
  11. There is a KI billboard here in Indy that has a picture of Dominator.
  12. ^That article states the new ride will be the longest in the park, not the longest of its kind as had been reported earlier. As much as I would love to see a 6600' wing-rider at the point next year, I think the Blade may have been a bit confused. That would more than double Wild Eagle's length (which would be fine by me, just no way I see that happening).
  13. Pretty sure that the water parks list is made up of water parks that are a separate gate. Therefore, as stated above, Boomerang Bays numbers from last year would be included in Kings Islands numbers and not as a stand alone water park.
  14. The park was going to remain SBNO, and thus pose no competition for Holiday World. It's not like the Koch's stole it from Ed Hart, they weren't involved until after Mr. Hart's attempts had failed right?
  15. What coaster were the trains taken from? That seems like a whole lot of trouble to go through for something that could be rather easily identified as having been stolen from the park. EDIT: Nevermind, the second article seems to state that it was Six Flags who tokk the trains when they abandoned the lease, that makes more sense.
  16. ^Agreed. I should have clarified what I meant. I'm sure its done as an indoor ride.
  17. Put me down as a fan of this move. I loved Wild Eagle and I can't wait to see what CP and B&M have in store for next year. Hopefully we will see DT pop up at another CF park (Michigan's Adventure?) in the future.
  18. Sounds like you had a great day, thanks for sharing!
  19. Raven is a thousand times better in the back imo. The ejector air on 'the woods drop' is one of the highlights of the ride! I guess I am missing something in regards to Flight Deck. It seems a lot of people here enjoy it in the front but I have always thought of it as a back of the train ride.
  20. Here's my two cents... Personally if I had to choose I would pick Holiday World for the fact that there are few parks that can match the level of service that you receive there. The staff is friendly, welcoming, and truly seems to care about your experience. If you enjoy wooden coasters then you would be hard pressed to find three better ones existing in the same park.
  21. Mantis, Mean Streak and Blue Streak at CP, though Mean Streak is the only one I refuse to ride in any other row. I also prefer the front on Backlot and Diamondback but don't go out of my way to ride there.
  22. That it disappointing to say that least. I can't imagine hitting 600,000 guests the first year with that lineup of attractions. I certainly hope I am wrong though.
  23. Thanks for sharing such a great clip. As someone who first visited Cedar Point in 2010 it was very cool/weird to see Gemini and Magnum as headlining attractions.
  24. Has the new premier train been scratched? Or is it just delayed?
  25. ^Mostly by realizing that the coaster wars are long over and that they no longer care about having more coasters than SFMM.
